Regice (OU Gravity + 3 attacks)

Hi, this is my first set attempt here, hoping I can do it right.

[SET]
name: Gravice
move 1: Gravity
move 2: Blizzard
move 3: Zap Cannon
move 4: Focus Blast
item: Leftovers
nature: Modest
evs: 252 HP / 216 SpA / 40 Def

Why this set deserves to be on-site:
-Only special wall with access to Gravity, high base power attacks with low accuracy and good attacking stat to back it up.
-Gravity gives Zap Cannon an ~83% hit meaning a more reliable than Stone Edge 120 BP electric attack + paralysis (which remedies it's low speed), along with giving 100% accuracy to Blizzard and Focus Blast.
-Excellent coverage in ice, electric and fighting, resisted only by Shedinja which it is almost never seen in OU due constant sandstorm.
-Beats most special attackers, and Heatran if catched by Zap Cannon on the switch; even defensive Zapdos' heat waves are 3HKO with Stealth Rock, meaning it can switch on Thunderbolt, set up gravity and OHKO with Blizzard.
-It works as a special wall support on Gravity teams setting it up in front on special attackers like Latias, Starmie(just fearing trick from those two), Suicune, etc; it can even set up on neutral hits from the physical side.
-Currently no similar sets on-site

Additional Comments:
-Nothing else works better, maybe a sure hit Thunder, but the 100% paralysis from Zap Cannon is better than the 30% form Thunder.

Teammates and Counters:
-Starmie Gravity abuser works really well alongside Regice, since it resists 3 out of it's 4 weaknesses.
-Without no reliable self recovery it needs some wish support to keep on taking hits, Jirachi as another Gravity user makes a great wish passer.
-Is stopped by hard physical attackers like Tyranitar, Scizor, Machamp, etc. but at least it would have served the purpose of setting up Gravity, and with no Pursuit weakness it won't hurt that much switching out (~40% from CB scizor and scarftar on the switch).

Using the skeleton on the read first before posting, please tell me what can I do to make it better, thanks for reading.

I'm just going to say that the first reason is worng since Blissey also gets Gravity and shes the best special wall there is

I'm aware of Blissey being the best special wall, but her only role is to setup gravity, the role of this Regice is to abuse alongside setting up, it can even OHKO scarftar with an 80% chance of surviving the stone edge and OHKO back with focus blast taking stealth rock into account.

Thanks Philip, I did for OU since I found it reliable even in OU, don't have logs to back up my statements since I don't shoddy that much, but in wifi has worked really nice, and that there aren't that many options for gravity users in OU.

Well I'm mostly asking because I do not see this being too viable in OU, which is packed with Stealth Rock and either sweepers who can outspeed and OHKO this after SR, and walls who don't mind any of its attacks. I also don't see the value of just throwing any Gravity + 3 Attack Pokemon on-site, just because they learn Gravity - especially one that is weak to SR and might have a hard time setting it up multiple times. I am going to have to vote no on this, sorry.

I disapprove it as well. I was going to give it a try to have a better idea of how the set works, but Philip just hit the nail on the head.

I know this set relies on the accuracy boosting side effect of Gravity, but not having an attack with higher than a 70% chance to hit on something like Regice is not very appealing. In such a fast-paced environment, you're often not going to have a chance to use both Gravity and pull out an attack before you're seriously threatened. Something like Starmie has a main STAB move (Hydro Pump) with better accuracy and much higher Speed to work with. And even in Starmie's case, Gravity is really not the best option.

Sure, you may have gotten Gravity going for another Pokemon, but you've probably just taken 25% from Stealth Rock to do it and then whatever other damage has built up. If you're going to argue nothing more than the initial setup of Gravity, there are much more reliable Pokemon for the job.

Well I had to give it a try, close it if you don't find it good enough, thanks for the reviews.

As a last argument, I will give a video of a battle with a maybe familiar battler named BaldWombat, where Regice managed to get 2 pokes of his team, I know it may be handpicked, but it is the only "log" I have:

Honestly, I'm going to have to disapprove this set. Gravity is probably the least useful of the "special field effects" since it's 1 turn spent for 4 turns of using slightly stronger moves more reliably. The only Pokemon that I would honestly advocate a Gravity set on in any metagame is Starmie, and even then it's iffy. Gravity sets are extremely unreliable outside of Gravity, and when you don't get the time to set them up, they become damn near close to dead weight.
