So, based on the vote count, there were only two definitive winners this time around:

Falchion:
:hoothoot: Orrean Hoothoot, Orrean Noctowl, and Mumei Archathene

To the creators responsible, please provide any missing info for your accepted entries as per the official submission guidelines, as well as movesets if you want (though the latter is optional).

********************

In the meantime, it's time for our first ever tiebreaker round! Here are the four entries that received the third-place vote count:

Ubertrainer2000:
:budew: Belldew, Ringelia, and Jestelia (Galarian convergent Budew line)

flareth13:
:aipom: Kantonian Aipom and Kortori

lavarina:
:shroomish: Hisuian Shroomish, Hisuian Breloom, and Sageloom

Glubbfubb:
:poliwhirl: Orrean Poliwhirl and Poliorre

-----

For this tiebreaker, only the top three winning submissions will be accepted. Therefore, this is a RANKED poll - you can only pick three entries among these five based on preferential order, from most preferred to least. Your first place vote gets three points, your second place vote gets two points, and your third place vote gets one point. You may submit ONE self-vote as long as you tag it accordingly, but do NOT put the self-vote in first place.

The tentative timeline for this slate is 24 hours, so you have until 10 AM EST on Friday, September 6 to submit your votes. Good luck!

BONUS! BONUS! BONUS!

I thought the Kantonian Beldum line wouldn't make it past the tiebreaker, but turns out they did because of a misunderstanding with the votes! (More notably, they won with four votes, but somehow they ended up in the tiebreaker) So, here's some movesets for new talk of the local biker gang, Yamatang! Once again, these sets assume that Terastalization is banned.

"Slate" #2.5: I Knew I'd Forgotten Something...

Before we move forward with the next slate, I've been reminded by Ubertrainer2000 that a poll was due to address something they pointed out to me early in this pet mod's development. Specifically, there are a number of other spinoff regions that were not listed in the original header, and I've decided that it is worth briefly discussing whether or not to include them going forward. This is because Lental from New Pokemon Snap was included in the region list of the Gen 8 version of this mod, so it might be worth covering all our bases for this new version. On the other hand, though, we may end up running the risk of far too many regions to organize properly if we include all the spinoffs! Hence, this mini-poll/discussion of sorts.

The following regions were not listed in the header post:
  • Fiore - Fiorian
  • Almia - Almian
  • Oblivia - Oblvian
  • Pasio - Pasian
  • Pokémon Island - Pokémonian
  • Ferrum - Ferrum
  • Mintale Town - Mintalian
  • Ryme City - Rymian
  • Carmonte Island - Carmontian
  • Tumblecube Island - Tumblecubian
The big question here is: How will we go about including all of these spinoff regions? Do we just include them in one big spinoff dex, list them individually, or just not include them at all? I'm opening this up for discussion for about 24 hours, so most likely I'll make a decision based on user input by tomorrow afternoon or so. Feel free to discuss this either here or, to save on forum posts, on the Discord chat - if you're not there already, the invite link to join the server is below!

Official Discord Server: Regional Evolutions 2: Paldean Boogaloo

I personally probably wouldn't include any of these, with the possible exceptions of Ferrum, Pasio, or (not included on this list) Aeos Island. I don't feel strongly either way though.

For reference, this is the whole roster we have at the moment

Kanto: 5
Johto: 3
Hoenn: 2
Sinnoh: 0
Hisui: 3
Unova: 0
Kalos: 0
Alola: 0
Galar: 5
Paldea: 2
Kitakami: 2
Orre: 12
Distortion World: 0
Ultra Space: 3
Paradox: 2

it's only been two slates and we already have a region that's above 10 mons, and 5 regions that have none. imo having more regions added in will just make things messy since we have so many regions to choose from already. i don't mind one or two coming in, or maybe even a slate dedicated to thos specific regions. but i'm not a fan of letting All of them in along with the roster we already have.

Ferrum and Pokemon Island/Lental (both are from the Snap spin-off, if we're incorporating that then we should decide on which timeframe to use) are the two listed that are distinct to have a regional variant justification.

Pasio, Carmonte Island and Ryme City are explicitly artificial islands and a singular city. It'll be like saying Aether Paradise deserves its own regional variant, when we would otherwise put it under Alola.

Mintale Town, according to Bulbapedia, is popularly believed to be in Kanto.

Tumblecube Island, given its visual design, could have some reason to be from Ultra Space (our closest in-universe term for an alternate world.)

The Ranger regions - Fiore, Almia, Oblivia - are harder to decide. Though their real-life inspirations are a part of Sinnoh, they themselves are a far distance away.

So, there wasn't much discussion on this, but a few good points were raised - overall, I think most of the spinoff regions we haven't covered yet don't need to be listed since they can be folded into existing regions, with two exceptions: Ferrum from Pokken, and Lental from Pokemon Snap. I've decided to include those two specifically since they don't correspond to any existing region, and you can submit a variant/regional evo based in either of these two regions, but I will not add them to the sheet until we get a winning submission that fits into either of them. It may also be worth discussing overall themes for each of these two for future subs, but we can reserve that discussion for when we get to a separate slate planned in the future specifically dedicated to the spinoff game regions.

**********

For now, though, it's time for...

Slate #3: Going Foreign

This slate will be focused on Pokémon from the regions from Generations IV through VI, i.e. Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos. There's no real limitations regarding what you can do with the Pokémon of your choice, but for this slate, you can only choose from the Pokémon introduced in any of the three regions listed above. Any entries based on Pokémon from before Gen IV or after Gen VI will be automatically vetoed, so it's best to save your ideas for those for their own slates.

Notice, by the way, that I did not list Hisui above. This is for two reasons. The first, of course, is that Hisui did not introduce any new non-legendary Pokémon that weren't regional evolutions already, and those regional evolutions were all for Pokémon introduced before Gen IV. The second, though, is that Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the fifth and final Generation VIII core series game. Since we're going by generational order, and therefore the order when the games were introduced, Hisui is not in the scope of this slate specifically, but will instead be reserved for the next one. This will come into play when we get to the slates dedicated to the regions themselves, rather than the Pokémon introduced in them, but regardless, that's something we'll have to keep in mind when we get around to those ones.

Formatting your subs according to the official submission format for this pet mod is not a strict requirement, but doing so would be vastly preferable to save me and any coders brought on board in the future a ton of potential headaches. For convenience, the template for all submission elements is provided in the premiere post.

The deadline for submissions for this slate will be Thursday, September 19 at 8 AM EST, meaning you have one week from today to get your entries in. The evaluation period will begin 48 hours before the official deadline, and you will not be allowed to make any new submissions after the 24-hour warning before the deadline. Until then, happy submitting!

Flavor/Design:

Based on Missingno. from the first generation of Pokemon, as the similarity between the names Minccino and Missingno (and the fact that Victini canonically had a 000 dex number) was not lost in the early days of Pokemon Black & White, at least in my little corner of the internet at the time. I like to think that in the actual Pokemon verse Missingno. is akin to an urban legend or a cryptid where most things can easily be explained away or debunked. That's where the Minccino line comes in, in which its accidental discharges do things like accidentally corrupt data or otherwise glitch computer systems.

But with most trainers considering Missingno. to be an urban myth, there are groups of people that do and are like cryptid hunters. And maybe they're right, but that's a story for another time :).

The Pokemon itself is basically a normal Minccino (except a light yellow) except its fur is very obviously charged with static electricity and it gets more and more pronounced as the evolution line continues on

Competitive Info:

"Fur full of static, these Pokemon have been known to accidentally corrupt computer data."

Based off of the Arsene Lupin series of stories by Maurice LeBlanc and the gentlemen thief archetype, specifically the Phantom Thief archetype popular in Japan. Arsantom's design is, admittedly, based on Arsene from Persona 5 in general color scheme, but as a Zoroark-esque creature.

Competitive Info:

Flavor/Design:

They were imported to Iron Island when the mine there was still active to help mine for iron ore with the evolution line's sound frequencies. When the mine dried up, they were left there and eventually got traits based on blast mining.

A Noibat colored like a stereotypical stick of dyanamite (and a more phosphorent, almost neon green for shinies.) It has a white tail that looks like a fuse.

Competitive Info:

lc boots I guess.

Pokémon: Johtonian Drifloon
Category: Carton
New Typing: ==
New Abilities: Aftermath / Own Tempo / Clear Body
New Stats: 70/50/34/60/90/44 (348)
New Moves: (Moves in bold are level-up moves) Milk Drink, Torment, Body Slam
Removed Moves
: All Flying-type moves
Flavor/Design: With the children they normally hunt protected by the cultural icons such as sages and Black Belts, the Drifloon of Johto turned to draining the milk out of Miltank. To do this, they take on the shape of a Milk Carton, their long arms now attached to the body without any strings. Then, by posing as one, the local farmers unknowingly increase their power by filling them with Moo Moo Milk.
"It disguises itself as a milk carton to trick others into filling it with milk. To further enhance the disguise, it convinces people to make cartons just like it."
"Having found people impossible to absorb, it instead turned to livestock. Farmers unknowingly waste milk every day by putting it inside this Pokémon."

Pokémon: Johtonian Drifblim
Category: Canister
New Typing: ==
New Abilities: Aftermath / Own Tempo / Clear Body
New Stats: 80/80/44/90/150/54 (498)
New Moves: (Moves in bold are level-up moves) Iron Head, Steel Roller, Hard Press
Removed Moves: All Flying-type moves
Flavor/Design: Johtonian Drifblim resembles a large milk canister, with it's four arms now a set of legs that anchor it to the ground: The cloud is completely absent. Now able to attack the Miltank directly, it drains them of their energy and stores their milk in itself as a power reserve. Those that try to oppose it will be drained of their lifeforce with a power that feels like having every last drop of blood replaced with cold milk.
"It knocks out other Pokémon by dropping on them from above, before draining them of it's lifeforce. It often targets livestock Pokémon such as Miltank, storing their milk inside of itself."
"It disguises itself as a milk canister to trick farmers into giving it more power. Those that oppose it will feel their blood turn into milk, which is usually lethal."

Pokémon: Melklim (Melk + Drifblim)
Evolution Method: Level up Johtonian Drifblim after it has drunk 10 or more bottles of MooMoo Milk.
Category: Silo
Weight: 1282.34 lbs.
New Typing: ==
New Abilities: Aftermath / Own Tempo / Clear Body
New Stats: 120/90/70/90/150/34 (554)
Role: Special Wall
New Moves: (Moves in bold are level-up moves) Earthquake, Earth Power, Rock Slide, Stone Edge
Flavor/Design: Still possessing the face of it's previous form, Melklim's body resembles a giant milk silo, with a large weathervane on the top. It's four legs have become wide cylinders, with decorations resembling a Miltank's head being on the top of each one. Wherever this weathervane points towards will have it's residents be drained of every liquid in their body, which Melklim then stores in itself to prepare a powerful curse that can drain the lifeforce of it's victims. If it ever gets threatened, it will tip the stored milk all over it's victims, which usually results in death.
"It's believed that the concept of droughts originated from both the sun and this Pokémon, which can absorb almost any liquid from the areas it's weather vane points at."
"Melklim's main weapon is the ice cold milk that it stores inside of itself. Each of the heads decorating it's legs is believed to be the soul of a Miltank that had good, fine milk."

New Moves: (Moves in bold are level-up moves) Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Rock Slide, Outrage, Earthquake, Earth Power, Stealth Rock, Scale Shot, Dragon Cheer, Temper Flare
Removed Moves: All Ice-type moves, All non-Universal Psychic-type moves, Acid Armor
Flavor/Design: Originally imported from Unova as a failed attempt to bring Casteliacones to Johto, Johtonian Vanillite instead drew it's power from the local Rage Candy Bars. On top of it's head now resembling one, it's arms have become wings as it's hidden draconic genes awaken. One bite from it can inflict rage into even the calmest of people.
"Originally imported as a failed competitor to a certain candy bar, the ingredients of the bar merged with it's body to awaken it's hidden genes."
"A feared Pokémon despite it's small size. One bite out of this Pokémon's soft body can cause anger for weeks on end."

New Moves: (Moves in bold are level-up moves) Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Flare Blitz, Stone Edge
Removed Moves: All Ice-type moves, All non-Universal Psychic-type moves, Acid Armor
Flavor/Design: Johtonian Vanillish has two large wings in place of it's crystalline arms, as well as a head resembling two Rage Candy Bars stacked on top of each other. Instead of a cone shaped bottom, Johtonian Vanillish has it's bottom resemble a box. It's rage amplifying abilities now extend as an aura that can drive even the closest of relationships into a generic argument just by being near them.
"No-one is certain what the arguments caused by Vanillish's aura are about. Most of the time, it's about a certian candy bar."
"Feared by couples because of it's ability to replace any emotion with anger, this Pokémon is rarely seen outside of it's den."

New Stats: 91/140/85/80/90/49 (535)
Role: Outrage Sweeper
New Moves: (Moves in bold are level-up moves) Explosion, Roar
Flavor/Design: Furillish's body resembles a giant Rage Candy Bar, with four mouths that resemble the Anger Symbol surrounding a single eye. It possesses four large wings that also resemble this symbol when looked at from a distance. Said to be the embodiment of the Lake of Rage itself, it scatters crumbs that can make it's victims so mad, they literally tear apart everything around them, no matter how cheerful they usually are. It does not get along well with angry Pokémon such as Primeape or Gyarados, as it's crumbs just make them even madder.
"By flapping it's wings, it can scatter a set of crumbs that causes the emotion of anyone who touches them to be replaced by a rage so powerful, it is comparable to a deity of rage!"
"People once believed that were was a deity of rage that could make arguments happen with a snap of it's fingers, which could be this Pokémon. It does not get along well with Pokémon focused with rage, ironically."

Removed Moves: All Grass-type moves
Flavor/Design: Within Mt. Snowfall near Viridan Forest, within the Ruins of Truth, a group of Pansage made it their duty to see if the Golbat Statue inside was of a different, ancestral kind in the past, chanting ancient spells to channel it's magic. It's tuft of hair now resembles a wizard's hat, and it's tail now has a round bulb at the end.
"These Pokémon spend their days chanting around a strange statue, gathering magic from it's essence."

It's tuft of hair remains, but now has sidings that resemble a wizard's hat. These Simisages lead Kantonian Pansages in chanting out the truth, capable of using powerful magic attacks that force anyone hit by them to tell the truth.
"By clapping it's hands together, it creates a powerful magic burst that forces anything it hits to reveal the truth."
"Simisage leads a group of Pansage in gathering magical energy from artifacts. Often, it is the only one of the group that does anything besides from chanting."

New Moves: (Moves in bold are level-up moves) Phantom Force, Destiny Bond, Poltergeist, Hex
Role: Specially Defensive
Weight: 122.4 lbs.
Flavor/Design: Upon unlocking the secrets of the Ruins of Truth, Simisage evolves one more time into Archsage, a master of truth and magic! It's body is now a long wizard's cloak, with a cape extending from the back: A yellow eye symbol, said to respresent the Ruins of Truth's actual deity, is imprinted on the cloak. It's eyes now covered by it's eyebrows, it's wizard hat now has a pointed tip on the end, and it's ears now have false eyes on the side. One of it's much ruffier arms now carries a staff which it uses to perform it's magical attacks, which are said to last the lifetime of the entire universe! Like it's previous forms, Archsage is an honest Pokémon that represents truth itself, never, ever telling a lie.
"The older an Archsage gets, the greater it's mastery in magic tricks becomes. The emblem on it's cloak is said to represent the one that enlightened it."
"This Pokémon can know the entire life of a person just by gazing it at with it's false eyes. It does not get along well with Alakazam, often challenging it to lethal magic duels."

A false dragon head, which serves as a tracking device, extends upwards from the top of it's head, where the jaws used to be. One sighting of it had it destroy an entire army of Pokémon by simply tracking down their weak points with their X-Ray vision.

On the sides of it's dress are two long extensions that resemble a heart from a distance. It's two arms, which have white tufts on the front, now extend further, and it's long hair now has a heart-like symbol on the side. An absolute seductress of a Pokémon, it spends all day trying to search for it's beloved, but because of it's poison that fills you with so much love that your mind cannot take it, resulting in the victim falling in love with the first thing they see, it has never succeeded.
"An outrageous Pokémon that tries to fall in love with anything it sees, crushing them with hugs until they break."

Flavor/Design
: Inside the Sweltering Sands, this variant of Lickilicky, based off the Anole Lizard, has adapted itself to camoflague itself among the oasis, feeding on mainly Skorupi and Trapinch. Compared to regular Lickilicky, Lentalese Lickilickiy retains it's long tail, it's nostrils, and the spots on it's legs, and it's belly pattern is a long red stripe. It also has three fins coming out from the top of it's head. It's tounge, while not as sticky as a Lickilicky's, is now a lot harder and can smash almost anything, allowing it to gain a new food source: Miniors!
"When it's prey gets close, Lickilicky will smash them to bits with it's giant tongue, which is tough enough to smash solid diamond."

It's two arms have three fingernails on them, and it's long tail has a red middle section that serves as a heat insulator. This desert predator is feared by all Pokémon in the Sweltering Sands, able to ride sandstorms and break the hardest shells with it's not just it's diamond hard tounge, but it's entire body as well: Each part of it is specialized in taking out a specific type of defence.
"It's sticky limbs allow it to stick on the leaves of palm trees, where it then strikes unsuspecting prey from above."

Notable Moves:
(The entire line shares the same move pool as their Kalos counterparts, minus the omissions shown below.)

  • Added Level-Up Moves: Poison Jab, Gunk Shot, Dual Chop, Syrup Bomb, Tar Shot, Mud Bomb
  • Removed Moves: -All Fairy-type moves -Drain Punch
  • New TMs: Body Slam, Toxic, Leech Life, Lunge, Seed Bomb, Lash Out, Brick Break, Low Sweep, Snarl, Poison Tail, Pounce, Thief, Trailblaze, Seed Bomb, Grass Knot, Toxic Spikes, Giga Drain, Shadow Ball, Encore, Pollen Puff, Reversal, Giga Impact, Upper Hand
Flavor/Design:
Instead of cotton candy, this Pokemon line is based on gummies, gelatin, and taffy. Swirlix is mostly the same appearance-wise, but appears more gooey and is orange instead of pink. (with a lime green shiny) Slurpuff resembles a gelatine mold, with a bit of color on its body resembling fruit inside a Jell-O mold. Merilaise, however looks more like a bigger, more mishappen, slobbery Slurpuff with some elements of taffy. Of note is its long gooey tongue, misshapen and asymmetrical limbs, and hunched posture, trying to go for an ugly cute aesthetic.

Competitive Info:
The core concept is both an evolution and rework of Slurpuff's best-known trait, the deadly combination of Unburden and Belly Drum to become a potent sweeper. The twist comes in the fact that due to the much better stats of Merilaise, the line gets a worse offensive STAB-type in Poison compared to Fairy, while still having a rather middling list of coverage moves, all to compensate for the powerful snowballing potential. Due to the strong defensive typing and improved bulk, it's much easier to pull a Belly Drum off; the main challenge comes in dealing with Merilaise's coverage issues.
Merilaise @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Poison Jab/Gunk Shot
- Leech Life
- Lash Out

This set is probably Merilaise's definitive set. You either have a choice of Poison Jab or Gunk Shot for powerful STAB, Leech Life to hit Psychic and Dark-types while giving you reliable healing, and Lash Out to deal with Ghost-types while also allowing you to hit Steel and Poison-types neutrally.

"Merilaise's odd appearance belies a playful disposition, it loves giving its trainer a nice slobbery kiss."
"Its body is highly malleable and radiates a saccharine scent, any damage to the main body will often be repaired over an hour."

    • Hidden - Mold Breaker
  • Stats: 87 HP / 125 Atk / 100 Def / 60 SpA / 100 SpD / 48 Spe = 515 BST
"This draconic being lives in deep caves, protecting a hoard of magical gemstones. When someone touches these gemstones it senses the thief's presence immediately."
"Getting clawed by this Pokemon gives extreme mental damage, some even disappear and become replaced by other Arcangoyle."

  • Added Level-Up Moves: Simple Beam
Flavor/Design:
On top of the general gargoyle aesthetic, Arcangoyle takes inspiration from Dungeon and Dragon's Mind Flayer and Demogorgan. I chose to give it the Psychic-type to showcase a more powerful magical ability since Psychic is the stand-in for a magic-type. I imagine a magenta and purple color scheme, with a head covered in arcane symbols to showcase the Pokemon's power. Overall unique appearance for a Dragon-type, one that takes inspiration from the arcane origins of the type.

Competitive Info:
Essentially a bigger version of Drudegon's main role, that being a bulky Dragon-type that uses its bulk to either set up hazards, though this time it Toxic Spikes and not Stealth Rock, and/or be a powerful wallbreaker. The fact you have quite a number of weaknesses does hold it back, but Multiscale helps a little by giving you a turn of setup for a Dragon Dance or layer of Toxic Spikes.

"Unovans have bred Glameows to have a softer, more velvety coat. It is a very vain breed that hates getting dirtied."

  • Name: Purrfect

  • Category: Taffy
  • Height: 3 m
  • Weight: 89.41 kg
  • Typing: Normal - Fairy
  • Abilities:
    • Ability 1 - Thick Fat

    • Hidden - Magic Guard
  • Stats: 101 HP / 122 Atk / 74 Def / 59 SpA / 101 SpD / 72 Spe = 530 BST
Notable Moves:
(These moves are exclusive to Purrfect.)

  • Added Level-Up Moves: Super Fang, Roar, Refresh
"Purrfect is considered a purebred among feline Pokemon, with the perfect coat and a gentle disposition to its trainer."
"Unovans pay big money to get a Purrfect, but even bribing couldn't convince a fickle Purrfect."

Flavor/Design:
The line takes inspiration from siamese cats, with Purrfect also gaining inspiration from cougars and panthers. When it attacks the line would have its eyes glow purple and gain an intimidating flare. While it is pleasant to its trainer, it notably hates rivals and are extremely fickle to them.

Competitive Info:
An offensive take on a Magic Guard Pokemon. The immunity to recoil and status damage allows Purrfect to utilize recoil-free Double-Edges and full-power Facades with no drawback, allowing it to be a threatening breaker. Trick allows Purrfect to give an unlucky Pokemon a Toxic Orb while still maintaining a full-powered STAB Facade due to how the status works, giving it some unique roles as a saboteur. Overall a pretty unique Magic Guard user, held back by slow speed and struggles with hitting Steel-types.

Typing: Bug | Steel
Abilities: Sniper | Tinted Lens | Compound Eyes
Stats: 96 HP / 66 Atk / 86 Def / 106 SpA / 56 SpD / 105 Spe [ 515 ]

  • Added Level-Up Moves: Metal Burst
  • Removed TM Moves: Giga Drain, Shadow Ball, Facade, Reversal
  • Added TM Moves: Flash Cannon, Smart Strike, Metal Sound, Iron Head
Flavor/Design:
Yanmega has now turned into a mech. Shiny robot with ray guns that shoot shockwaves or something. It looked cooler in my head idk.

Competitive Info:
Special steel/bug with Tinted Lens. Yamatang or literally any fire coverage scares it off but it's still scary if not handled properly. I decreased its SpAtk by 10 just in case, increasing speed to compensate.

"Robotic engineers modified Yanma heavily, evolving them to make a perfect war android."
"Despite the stop of Yanmecha production, they continue to fly around cities. Surveying for any threats to take care of."

Height: 0.9 m
Weight: 20 kg
Typing: Fighting | Water
Abilities: Inner Focus | Defiant | Reckless
Stats: 45 HP / 85 Atk / 50 Def / 55 SpA / 50 SpD / 65 Spe [ 350 ]

  • Added Level-Up Moves: Bubble Beam, Water Gun, Aqua Jet, Wave Crash
  • Removed TM Moves: Sunny Day, Aura Sphere
  • Added TM Moves: Liquidation, Hydro Pump, Surf
Flavor/Design:
Crashing waves mixed in with its agile kungfu style of fighting. I picked Kanto because the thought of Mienfoo learning from Poliwrath was too cute to pass up heh

Competitive Info:
It's a Mienfoo.

"Learning new fighting techniques from Poliwrath, they have gained the strength to conquer the seas."
"They know no bounds to their limits, recklessly crushing boulders near waterfalls."
Original Species: Miensurge
Category: Sea Martial Arts
New Region: Kanto
Height: 1.7 m
Weight: 40 kg
Typing: Fighting | Water
Abilities: Inner Focus | Defiant | Reckless
Stats: 65 HP / 135 Atk / 60 Def / 95 SpA / 60 SpD / 95 Spe [ 510 ]

Notable Moves:
  • Removed Level-Up Moves: Bounce, Drain Punch, Pound, Aura Sphere
  • Added Level-Up Moves: Bubble Beam, Water Gun, Aqua Jet, Wave Crash
  • Removed TM Moves: Sunny Day, Aura Sphere
  • Added TM Moves: Liquidation, Hydro Pump, Surf
Flavor/Design:
It's much larger and heavier, resembling the crashing waves you'd see in paintings. Its arms/claws are much bigger and hard-hitting compared to regular Mienshao.

Competitive Info:
A hard-hitter with Reckless-boosted Wave Crash and High Jump Kick. Can use a Choice Scarf or Choice Band. Lowered its speed so that it still gets checked by faster threats such as Eldegoth, Chrocony and more.

"Trainers can find Miensurge fighting with Poliwrath near waterfalls, training daily."
"These nimble fighters have conquered combat in both land and sea."
