Pet Mod Regional Variants (Submission Slate)

Alright, first time subbing for this, let's see how it goes

Pokémon: Gible-Kalos
New Typing:

New Abilities: Sand Veil/Static/Levitate
New Stats: 60/60/40/45/40/50
New Moves: Move Aerial Ace and Swagger to Level-up Learnset; Add Nuzzle, Thunder Wave, and Iron Head to Level-Up Learnset; Add Thunder to TM set
Removed Moves: Move Sandstorm to TM set; Remove Attract, Dig, Earthquake, Bulldoze
Dex Entry: Kalosian Gible hovers along the ground, trying to impress it's fellow Gibles. It doesn't work, but it's still fun!
Origin: To adapt to life in Kalos, the Gible line can actually fly! It can't dig nearly as well though, and it's become more aerodynamic to account for this; Additionally, its shape has evolved into more of a helicopter-inspired one, albeit loosely.
Flavor/Design: Kalosian Gible is slightly larger and rounder, with a more pronounced top fin that has a helicopter's rudder blade inside. In addition, it's "engines" become a set of twin turbines on it's back, complete with a helicopter's blades in the center. The blue becomes a gunmetal gray, with a neon yellow underbelly; The shiny turns it black with a blue underbelly.

Pokémon: Gabite-Kalos
New Typing:

New Abilities: Sand Veil/Static/Levitate
New Stats: 70/90/60/70/50/70
New Moves: All Gible Move changes, plus Move Double Team, Sandstorm to Level-Up Learnset, Add Gear Grind, Automatize, King's Shield to Learnset
Removed Moves
: All Gible move changes, plus Remove Sand Attack, Sand Tomb, Stone Edge, and Confide
Dex Entry: Kalosian Gabites fly in small packs; you can often see two or three of them playing like they're dog-fighting, weaving through the skyline.
Flavor/Design: Kalosian Gabites play with Gible's design; The have a small fin at the top of their heads, with bigger turbines in the back allowing for actual flight. Their arms are thicker and their arm fins are larger, now sporting rudder blades similar to Gible's top fin. Colors stay the same, with the light blue portions being a midnight black. Shiny Kalosian Gabite's light blue portions become a pastel teal.

Pokémon: Garchomp-Kalos
New Typing:

New Abilities: Sand Veil/Static/Levitate
New Stats: 110/120/100/80/80/110
New Moves: All Gabite move changes
Removed Moves: All Gabite move changes
Dex Entry: Kalosian Garchomps often support Kalos's military helicopters, assisting their trainers in a variety of operations. In the wild, they're one of Kalos's sneakiest aerial predators, flying silent and swift.
Flavor/Design: Kalosian Garchomp's biggest change is that, once again, they have fins at the top, now have two coming out of the sides of the head, and turbines in the back, now even larger, with a yellow stripe running down the middle. The fin blades return, as well as a proper rotor blade at the end of the tail. It now has landing wheels at the heels, with smaller ones to the front.

Pokémon: Garchomp-Mega-Kalos
New Typing:

New Abilities: Levitate
New Stats: 110/150/130/100/80/110
New Moves: Same as Garchomp
Removed Moves: Same as Garchomp
Dex Entry: Kalosian Mega Garchomp can fly at speeds exceeding Mach 1. For it's trainer, it will do anything; and it's bond with them burns as strong as the rage that burns in regular Garchomps.
Flavor/Design: Mega Garchomp-Kalos is the most deviant design, taking Kalosian Garchomp's design and, well, further evolving it. It's claws become anchors, it's foot wheels become more pronounced, and it keeps it's fins, every helicopter blade becoming layered. It grows in size and girth, and it's turbines reach up and rest on the shoulders, which are broader.

Pokémon: Gible-Unova
New Typing:

New Abilities: Sand Veil/Static
New Stats: 60/60/50/45/50/60
New Moves: Move Aerial Ace and Swagger to Level-up Learnset; Add Nuzzle, Thunder Wave, and Iron Head to Level-Up Learnset; Add Thunder to TM set
Removed Moves: Move Sandstorm to TM set; Remove Attract, Dig, Earthquake
Dex Entry: Unovan Gible hovers along the ground, trying to impress it's fellow Gibles. It doesn't work, but it's still fun!
Origin: To adapt to Unova's cityscapes, the Gible line can actually fly! It can't dig nearly as well though, and it's become more aerodynamic to account for this; Additionally, its shape has evolved into more of a helicopter-inspired one, albeit loosely.
Flavor/Design: Unovan Gible is slightly larger and rounder, with a more pronounced top fin that has a helicopter's rudder blade inside. In addition, it's "engines" become a set of twin turbines on it's back, complete with a helicopter's blades in the center. The blue becomes a gunmetal gray, with a black underbelly; The shiny turns it black with a blue underbelly.

I hate to tell you this, but someone has already made a Unovan Gible line: https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/regional-variants-submission-slate.3645160/page-7#post-8079586. By the description you gave, I could suggest Kanto or Kalos as regions your Gible could be from.

Thanks for letting me know, oof. I'll make those changes when I can; good to know before I put in Mega Gar and called it done

Update: Fixed and ready to sub.

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
Note: The first two lines is all because of the final evo starter being able to learn Darkest Lariat, Incineroar's former signature move.

2020-12-02 Note: This aged well as Swampert can really learn Bulk Up, Body Press and especially Darkest Lariat since the release Crown Tundra release.

:mudkip: :marshtomp: :swampert:
Pokémon: Alolan Mudkip
New Typing:

New Abilities: Torrent | Defiant
New Stats: 50 HP / 80 Atk (+10) / 50 Def / 40 SpA (-10) / 50 SpD / 40 Speed | BST: 310
New Moves: Feint Attack, Crunch, Foul Play, Sucker Punch, Snarl, Payback, Gunk Shot
Removed Moves: Take Down
Flavor/Design: Adapting in a harsh environment of the Sandy Cave, the Mudkip focus on training their strength and is able to shatter more than one rock at a time. The intense training and isolation make them more aggressive as well, and their skin become darker, as their fins also get spiked.

Pokémon: Alolan Marshtomp
New Typing:

New Abilities: Torrent | Defiant
New Stats: 70 HP / 95 Atk (+10) / 70 Def / 50 SpA (-10) / 70 SpD / 50 Speed | BST: 405
New Moves: Feint Attack, Crunch, Foul Play, Sucker Punch, Snarl, Payback, Close Combat, Knock Off, Gunk Shot
Removed Moves: Take Down
Flavor/Design: Now being able to swim thorough the harsh waves of Alola, the Alolan Marshtomp managed to get in numerous beaches to challenge opposing Water-type to varying success. It is said that they also become defiant, attacking those who dared to intimidate them. Their design continues from Alolan Mudkip, with darker skin and spikier fins. The limbs are also slightly thicker and sturdier.

Pokémon: Alolan Swampert
New Typing:

New Abilities: Torrent | Defiant
New Stats: 100 HP / 125 Atk (+15) / 90 Def / 70 SpA (-15) / 90 SpD / 60 Speed | BST: 535
New Moves: Feint Attack, Crunch, Foul Play, Sucker Punch, Snarl, Payback, Close Combat, Knock Off, Gunk Shot, Slack Off
(Note: Standard Swampert already learns Bulk Up, Body Press and Darkest Lariat according to HOME despite being nontransferable to SwSh, and applies to Alolan Swamprt as well by default.)
Removed Moves: Take Down
Flavor/Design: Alolan Swampert were nicknamed as "Crusher of the Waves", and have temporarily dethroned Incineroar as the wrestling champion of Alola until Alolan Rillaboom came along. In fact, most Incineroar were nervous about facing an Alolan Swampert! The whirlpool-like design on it's belt-patterned belly allows it to perform a quick spin to rapidly strike the opponent. It maintain changes from Alolan Mudkip and Marshtomp, having much darker skin and spikier fins.
Potential Uses: Easily punishes Intimidate and especially Parting Shot, Alolan Swampert can set up with Bulk Up and then attack with Liquidation and Knock Off or, against faster target, Sucker Punch, and can also recover damage with Slack Off. This is more built for Doubles format than Singles, but definitely not something to sleep on.

:grookey: :thwackey: :rillaboom:
Pokémon: Alolan Grookey
New Typing:

New Abilities: Overgrown | Mold Breaker
New Stats: 50 HP / 65 Atk / 40 Def (Swapped with SpD) / 40 SpA / 50 SpD (swapped with Defense) / 65 Speed | BST: 310
New Moves: Night Slash, Feint Attack, Bite, Crunch, Thief, Embargo, Play Rough
Removed Moves: None
Flavor/Design: In the Lush Jungle, Alolan Grookey have to get rough and fight in order to conserve their food reserve. They also use their stick more as a weapon than as a toy. Their fur is a little brighter, but their markings and tail are darker.

Pokémon: Alolan Grookey
New Typing:

New Abilities: Overgrown | Mold Breaker
New Stats: 70 HP / 85 Atk / 60 Def (Swapped with SpD) / 50 SpA (-5) / 70 SpD (swapped with Defense) / 85 Speed (+5) | BST: 420
New Moves: Night Slash, Feint Attack, Bite, Crunch, Embargo, Thief, Play Rough, Close Combat
Removed Moves: None
Flavor/Design: Thwackey focus on training in order to take on tougher Pokémon in the Lush Jungle. Some even moved beyond Lush Jungle and make stock out of found and stolen Berries as well. Retain changes from Alolan Grookey, with the fur being much less saturated.

Pokémon: Alolan Rillaboom
New Typing:

New Abilities: Overgrown | Mold Breaker
New Stats: 100 HP / 125 Atk / 70 Def (Swapped with SpD) / 50 SpA (-10) / 80 SpD (swapped with Defense, -10) / 105 Speed (+20) | BST: 530
New Moves: Night Slash, Feint Attack, Bite, Crunch, Embargo, Thief, Play Rough, Close Combat, Slack Off
Removed Moves: None
Flavor/Design: Alolan Rillaboom's arrival to the wrestling scene caused a three-way rivalry of Incineroar and Alolan Swampert, with Alolan Rillaboom being able to beat Alolan Swampert quite easily, but tend to have troubles with Incineroar. This form is nicknamed as "The King of the Lush Jungle". The vines around it's wrist serves as a belt, with the middle having a resemblance to a head of a Mythical Pokémon from the Galar region.
Potential Uses: Fast wallbreaker with Mold Breaker to ignore Unaware or other defensive Abilities after it set up with Swords Dance. Play Rough allows it to combat Fighting-type and opposing Dark-type, while also spamming Knock Off all it wants. Double weakness to Bug can be very dreadful, however.

Pokémon: Hoenian Serperior
New Typing: Water / Poison
New Abilities
: Torrent / Natural Cure
New Stats: 105 (+30) / 65 (-10) / 85 (-10) / 95 (+20) / 95 / 83 (-30)

Flavor/Design: The Serperior in the Hoenn region live throught swampy areas. It's body is strange in that it actually is similar to a plant, allowing easy regeneration of its body parts. Their navy-colored bodies blend in very well in said swampy areas it inhabits, allowing the Pokemon it preys on to turn up on one unsuspected and become a meal. The body is much more straight, lacking things like the two leaves extending out of it's back. The lighter green parts became a deep navy blue and the darker green parts are black.

Pokémon: Hoenian Tepig
New Typing: Grass
New Abilities
: Overgrow / Thick Fat
New Stats: 65 / 63 / 55 (+10) / 35 (-10) / 55 (+10) / 35 (-10)

Removed Moves: Ember, Fire Pledge, Smog, Flame Charge, Heat Crash, Flare Blitz, Burn Up, Heat Wave, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat, Will-O-Wisp, Arm Thrust, Focus Blast, Fire Punch

Flavor/Design:

Pokémon: Hoenian Emboar
New Typing: Grass / Ground
New Abilities
: Overgrow / Thick Fat
New Stats: 110 / 123 / 85 (+20) / 70 (-30) / 85 (+20) / 55 (-10)
New Moves: Leafage, Grass Pledge, Frenzy Plant, Leech Seed, Razor Leaf, Seed Bomb, Wood Hammer, Giga Drain, Synthesis, Worry Seed, Energy Ball, Earth Power, Grassy Terrain, Needle Arm, Drain Punch, Sandstorm, Stealth Rock
Removed Moves: Ember, Fire Pledge, Blast Burn, Smog, Flame Charge, Heat Crash, Flare Blitz, Burn Up, Heat Wave, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat, Will-O-Wisp, Arm Thrust, Fire Punch, Hammer Arm, Scald

Flavor/Design: Emboar from Hoenn are much less ready to fight and more of a sleeper. Their hide became thicker as a result of these adaptations. However, it does not mean it will still pack a punch with its strength, as none of it was lost in adaption. The fire beard is a bush beard now, and the Orange parts are a Lime color and the Red parts are a Green color. The black becomes Brown as well, and is slightly covered with leaves.

Pokémon: Hoenian Oshawott
New Typing: Fire
New Abilities
: Blaze / Tough Claws
New Stats: 45 (Speed swap) / 60 (+5) / 45 / 48 (-15) / 45 / 65 (HP swap, +10)

Removed Moves: Water Gun, Water Pledge, Razor Shell, Water Pulse, Aqua Jet, Aqua Tail, Hydro Pump, Brine, Icy Wind, Hail, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Rain Dance, Scald, Surf, Waterfall

Flavor/Design:

Pokémon: Hoenian Samurott
New Typing: Fire / Flying
New Abilities
: Blaze / Tough Claws
New Stats: 70 (Speed swap) / 110 (+10) / 75 (-10) / 78 (-30) / 70 / 125 (HP swap, +30)
New Moves: Ember, Fire Pledge, Blast Burn, Flame Charge, Incinerate, Quick Attack, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Sunny Day, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat, Will-O-Wisp, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Drill Peck, Drill Run, Fly
Removed Moves: Water Gun, Water Pledge, Hydro Cannon, Razor Shell, Water Pulse, Aqua Jet, Aqua Tail, Hydro Pump, Brine, Icy Wind, Hail, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Rain Dance, Scald, Surf, Waterfall, Liquidation

Flavor/Design: In this new form, Samurott grows wings, allowing it to fly around the volcanoes it inhabits. The stance it takes while flying allows it to attack with it's front appendages as if it were punching. It is still not bipedal and has to get on all fours when it lands. The horn it sports is even thicker and is able to penetrate rock. Samurott has it's main blue body become a deep red while the shell armor parts have became rock-like.

Pokémon: Ultra Deep Sea's Cyndaquil (Cyndaquil-Ultra)
New Typing:

New Abilities: Sand Stream
New Stats: the same
New Moves: Sand Attack, Sandstorm, Sand Tomb, Earthquake, Earth Power, Bulldoze, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge, Stealth Rock, Air Slash, Hurricane, Defog, Tailwind (14)
Removed Moves: Burn Up, Ember, Eruption, Fire Blast, Fire Pledge, Flame Burst, Flamethrower, Flame Charge, Flame Wheel, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Incinerate, Inferno, Lava Plume, Overheat, Sunny Day, Will-o-Wisp, Smokescreen (18)

Flavor/Design: It is difficult to start fires in the atmosphere of the Ultra Deep Sea. Fire moves can be used just fine if you're just there for one battle, but living there for longer takes a toll on a Fire-type's health that can drastically cut their life expectancy. Cyndaquil from the Ultra Deep Sea have become entirely incapable of causing fires, but instead blast sand out of their backs with great force. "Ultra Cyndaquil" may be something of a misnomer, because despite living in Ultra Space it has no affinity for Ultra Wormhole energy and shares little in common with the Ultra Beasts.

Pokémon: Ultra Deep Sea's Quilava (Quilava-Ultra)
New Typing:

New Abilities: Sand Stream
New Stats: the same
New Moves: Sand Attack, Sandstorm, Sand Tomb, Earthquake, Earth Power, Bulldoze, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge, Stealth Rock, Air Slash, Hurricane, Defog, Tailwind (14)
Removed Moves: Burn Up, Ember, Eruption, Fire Blast, Fire Pledge, Flame Burst, Flamethrower, Flame Charge, Flame Wheel, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Incinerate, Inferno, Lava Plume, Overheat, Sunny Day, Will-o-Wisp, Smokescreen (18)

Flavor/Design: Ultra Quilava's sandstorms have grown enough in strength to successfully fend off a lone Nihilego by itself. However, even with its type advantage, it is too weak to take on more than one.

(fuck whoever started replacing this stuff in showdown)
Pokémon: Ultra Deep Sea's Typhlosion (Typhlosion-Ultra)
New Typing:

New Abilities: Sand Stream
New Stats: the same
New Moves: Sand Attack, Sandstorm, Sand Tomb, Earthquake, Earth Power, Bulldoze, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge, Stealth Rock, Air Slash, Hurricane, Defog, Tailwind (14)
Removed Moves: Burn Up, Ember, Eruption, Fire Blast, Fire Pledge, Flame Burst, Flamethrower, Flame Charge, Flame Wheel, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Incinerate, Inferno, Lava Plume, Overheat, Sunny Day, Will-o-Wisp, Smokescreen, Fire Punch, Blast Burn (20)

Flavor/Design: While it's virtually unstoppable in its home environment, it's only an above-average Pokémon on Earth. Its secret technique can instantly create a sandstorm large enough to cover a whole town.

Pokémon: Budew-Kalos
New Typing:

New Abilities: Natural Cure, Iron Barbs, Leaf Guard
New Stats: No change
New Moves: Iron Head, Leaf Blade, Sacred Sword, X-Scissor
Removed Moves: Sludge Bomb, Extrasensory, Sleep Powder, Dazzling Gleam
Flavor/Design: This Budew typically grows outside mansions and castles. Its bud appears to be solidifying, with the edges forming crude blades, and an odd growth out of its head prevents the bud from closing.

Pokémon: Roselia-Kalos
New Typing:

New Abilities: Natural Cure, Iron Barbs, Sturdy
New Stats: 50 HP (±0), 100 Atk (Swap with SpAtk), 65 Def (+20), 60 SpAtk (Swap with Atk), 80 SpDef (±0), 45 Speed (-20)
New Moves: Iron Head, Leaf Blade, Sacred Sword, X-Scissor
Removed Moves: Sludge Bomb, Extrasensory, Sleep Powder, Dazzling Gleam
Flavor/Design: The outer layers of leaves on Roselia's body have hardened into a thick layer of steel, weighing it down and increasing its defense. Blades have begun to sprout from the flowers at the end of its arms, but they are still made of plant matter. It is often seen in the presence of royalty and the like.

Pokémon: Roserade-Kalos
New Typing:

New Abilities: Natural Cure, No Guard, Weak Armor
New Stats: 60 HP (±0) / 120 Atk (Swap with SpAtk, -5) / 65 Def (±0) / 70 SpAtk (Swap with Atk) / 105 SpDef (±0) / 95 Speed (+5)
New Moves: Leaf Blade, Iron Head, Sacred Sword, X-Scissor
Removed Moves: Sludge Bomb, Extrasensory, Sleep Powder, Dazzling Gleam
Flavor/Design: More of Roserade's body has solidified into steel, with the barbs sprouting from its arms becoming sharper. Despite the increased spread of the metal, there is less mass actually being affected by it, making Roserade faster than Roselia and having physical defense on par with it. It is known as a loyal guard to the upper classes that use it, and has a fierce rivalry with Aegislash.

Pokémon: Drapion-Unova
New Typing:

New Abilities: Sand Force, Intimidate, Solid Rock
New Stats: 80 HP (+10), 90 Atk (±0), 100 Def (-10), 60 SpAtk (±0), 95 SpDef (+20), 75 Speed (-20)
New Moves: Stone Edge, Rock Polish, Stealth Rock, Iron Head, Spikes, Curse, Foul Play, Glare, Mean Look
Removed Moves: Cross Poison, Poison Fang, Poison Jab, Poison Tail, Sludge Bomb, Toxic Spikes, Venom Drench, Venoshock, Poison Sting, Toxic
Flavor/Design: When a Skorupi spends enough time in Route 4's desert, its exoskeleton will harden into rock in order to prevent damage to itself from sandstorms. As a result, it will also lose the ability to produce a meaningful amount of poison in its body. This loss is well worth it for a Drapion, as it is mostly immune to pain in most of its body while maintaining full control of the rocks that compose it, causing it to be able to sustain massive amounts of damage while rampaging.
  • 3/23: Moved Roserade's SpDef nerf to Atk, kept the buff on Speed, changed the shift from 10 to 5. Removed Iron Barbs from Roserade in favor of Natural Cure. Fixed some shading on Roselia and Roserade, fixed Roselia's red barb, fixed the metal bit on Budew's head so the perspective makes sense.
  • 3/24: Added back No Guard to Roserade, Iron Barbs was still shown due to mistyping. Added Unovan Drapion submission and organized submissions into spoilers.
  • 3/25: Added a single comma in the Drapion submission.
  • 4/3: Added Poison Sting and Toxic to the list of moves removed from Drapion.
