WOW. I’m not surprised we lost, I’m surprised FH actually scum read me as town.

Why would mafia be that frustrated day 3 (my frustration I thought was obvious town behavior). Even if we lynched Nuxl today this game was still a loss.

If FH didn’t scum read me I think we had a chance, but his read was so bad I (from my perspective) I was forced to tunnel him. Oh well.

I leaned town and dusk but was super unsure, then when he buddied FH I was certain.

Good game everyone! In hindsight, I’m super glad that I got to play this game, even though we should’ve won this game very easily and didn’t.

Thought this was a pretty good game. I had a good time (although being mafia is never as fun as being town for me). I'm pretty happy with how I played, wasn't perfect, but I think I did a good enough job to put my team in a position to win regardless of FH voting here.

I think the game was a lot closer than the actual lynches suggest. Honestly this setup seems highly prone to being pretty swingy game to game but I liked the dynamic presented. In any case, there were a lot of good performances from some newer (and old?) faces and I hope everyone sticks around.

I really don’t get that D4 lynch. Honestly, Nuxl seemed like the obvious choice and I think town made a mistake by going for what they thought was the third before taking out the obvious 2
 
Im happy with how I played, I was legit trying to scum hunt all game which I thought I made clear in my posts.

I had nuxl as scum the whole time but nobody wanted to vote him with me. The no lynch doesn’t make much sense to me nor does Drookez, alas

not v fond of my play this game

d4 town just imploded when i fully expected i would get lynched so i just said nothing d4 to remove any additional associations(had a few gameplans but my positioning was so bad that i think it would've made it worse for scumteam). town was very close to solving the game (apricity/energy/FH legit said the right answer on d2/d3/d4) so good performance but then d4??????? happened

now that i have one town game and one scum game under my belt i think playing as town felt a lot more natural and less formulaic(granted i had more free time thus more effort invested into 2d3 than reinforcements) and was overall more fun(but maybe its just cuz i played better in 2d3); compared to this game where i guess i came off of good town play and extremely high activity but couldnt get into that in this one which led to me getting caught v early lmao 1 game of meta btw???? deciding night kills and talking gameplan was a lot of fun too though even if i felt like it was more stressful than being town. also i dodged 4 days of being lynched when i was a realistic wagon but i dont think it's because i did anything to pivot the vote most of the time lol


think my biggest highlight was hammering NL d3 LOL and realizing it was vipercop n3 (for what i learned later were the wrong reasons LOL whatever) but my day play was honestly pretty terrible lmao and for the sake of the "arms race" im not going to get into that and will learn off of that :p

our night actions were
n1: strongman texas
n2: strongman apricity
n3: RB energy kill viper(we figured out viper was most likely cop, but we thought an energy doctor would be most likely to protect viper out of the other 3 whereas FH/dusk/DLE would probably protect someone in that aforementioned group)

if the game continued to d5 im p sure it would've been RB DLE kill dusk and kill DLE, most likely in that order

still had fun though, thanks caffeineboost for hosting and ty all for playing, interesting setup that could've swung one way or another depending on what the PRs did

I'm still mad about the idle doctor n1. Had we known that a strongman was used we could've had cop claim early and been protected by doctor every night. The game wouldve been very different. Not to take away from scum but it's so bad that ifml ended up with one of the power roles and done nothing.

since doctor also needs to claim, can't scum just strongman cop or RB outed doctor kill cop

Nah doctor doesn't need to claim, first cop claims and gets strongmanned then the second cop claims and a hidden doctor protects him every turn without claiming. The reason why scum had strongman was to prevent that strategy happening.

Yeah I'm an idiot lol nvm. Still after the two roleblocks cop can be protected d4 which significantly helps endgame. It would've been way harder to read who is cop since all of town wouldn't have been pushing for the claim I think?

maf has another strongman so cop could not be protected d4, they would be protected d5 which only occurs if no lynch occurs(by which point is literally 2v1 lylo)
