Resourcefulness: Pillow Sprites

Sorry for not updating the OP. :x Busy with the trade thread.

Awesome sprites, you guys. Rawbi, that Pikachu is awesome, but the cheeks aren't outlined. I think I might fix that myself though since I plan on redoing the male Pikachu. Here's mini-garbage by the way--

Reshiram. I'm aware it looks a bit flat but it looks really dark if you add another colour.
 
Yes, I'm back and I'm finishing uploading the sprites that I missed into the album. Coincidentally: the thread died when I left. Now it should all be good now.

I made Reshiram back when this was my thread, so I forgot to post it. I would like the credit for it as I had it in the thread and the album before the layout changed.
 
wow that is awkward sorry i just looked and it didnt have a name right next to it but then had the female and male underneath which i didnt pay close enough attention to so that was completely my fault sorry

I tried to do one, but the resizing made it really blurry =\. Can anyone tell me how you guys keep it white all round, and sprite-sized?
 
I can't exactly critique it right now since the resizing made it look odd, haha.

1. When you've finished up in MS Paint, just move the sprite as far to the top left as possible without getting rid of any of the sprite, see one of my sprites as an example. Make the canvas so that its size goes just outside of the Pokemon's outline. Again, see my sprite for an example. If you want it to be transparent then make the background a bright color not anywhere in the sprite, bright green and purple work well for this.
2. Upload it to an image host, I use iaza.com for transparency. Upload it and click "transparent", then click on the color you used on the background. Then just copy the image link and post it here. :> Hope this helped.

Don't resize sprites, keep them at their original height. Also, I'd recommend pillowing these sprites as a PNG, not a JPEG as it appears to look like. Do that, & you'll have better quality sprites in no time! :)
