ORAS UU RMT: Balanced (my first thread here)

Since this is my first thread here, I have no idea how to create a fancy post with the pokemon in fulll glory but do help rmt.
Pardon the lack of originality, this team does not have any creative sets but it does alright.

Machamp @ Assault Vest
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dynamic Punch
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch
- Bullet Punch
My primary wallbreaker. Dynamic punch punches holes in opposing teams. If a ghost type switches in, usually it is doublade or chandelure. Both of which cannot kill machamp at full hp and will in turn gets nailed by knock off. Also the one to deal with evolite gligar thanks to knock off+ice punch.
My team has problems with late game sweepers such as choice scarf moxie salamence. Since a +1 salamence can outspeed my entire team and probably sweep it. I can stop it with absol's sucker punch, machamp's bullet punch or druddigon's rough skin+rocky helmet, but this is wonky at best.
Bullet punches help me deal with the pesky bellydrum slurpuff as well, as I can hit it to below 50% hp range so belly drum fails, or revenge kill it to stop its streak.

Absol-Mega @ Absolite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Play Rough
Standard mega absol set. Very useful when i find a slower pokemon that i can switch into. I used it usually for mid game knock offs or late game sweeps. Though, since this is a balanced team, I have issues switching it in and hence cannot make full use of its magic bounce. Its middling speed before mega evo also means I have to guarantee a ko with sucker punch if I do attack on the turn i mega evo it. To better safely switch it in I tried to use a slow volt switch user such as forretress to place druddigon but it didnt work out. The team ended up too weak against fire types(entei).

Heliolisk @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hyper Voice
- Grass Knot
- Thunderbolt
Special wallbreaker. Volt switch is very useful for keeping heliosk alive.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Soft-Boiled
- Heal Bell
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss
Cleric/ special wall. I opted for softboiled instead of wish+protect because 1) i wanted another slot for other moves and 2) I am quite terrible at passing wishes, i find it too predictable.

Druddigon @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Dragon Tail
- Stealth Rock
- Glare
- Rest
Defensive druddigon. Stops almost all physical sweepers. Previously I was using milotic, but I was having an issue with fast fighting types such as mienshao. Now this set is effective against fighting types since most fighting moves are in contact. Only issue now is that I am now weak against sweeper dragons like movie scarf mence as mentioned.
I chose rest as the last slot as blissey has many switch in opportunites to use heal bell. Also, since my druddigon often functions as a lead, it finds itself with a status condition more often than not. Also, rest helps with the healing since it does not hold leftovers.

Crobat @ Choice Band
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Defog
- Cross Poison
- U-turn
BraveBat. This is probably my midgame MVP. Choice band crobat surprises so many players, nailing many crucial kills or 2hkos. Opponent will switch in some other pokemon they think can handle crobat, but finds itself 2hko instead. Defog is there in case some team manages to set up too many layers of entry hazard. Infiltrator also allows it to kill substitue setup sweepers, such as reniculus and cobalion, both of which has not priority moves and are slower than crobat. My team is generally speaking not stealth rock weak, so defog is not used that often.

I have reached 14++ in the ladder(nowhere impressive but just to let u guys know I know some basics:) ), but tried another crappy team and hence now at 13++ again. I feel that this team is my best uu team yet but it obviously is not up to par with some of the very good teams i have seen here. Thanks.

This Team Is Pretty Good. However, Medicham Destroys This Team. High Jump Kick Hurts Blissey, Heliolisk And Absol. Psycho Cut Hurts Machamp And Crobat. Ice Punch Hurts Druddigon And Crobat. The Saving Grave Against It Is That Crobat Outspeeds And Brave Should Do Damage. If Crobat Is Down Or Medicham Is Scarfed, This Team Is In Trouble. Anothr Threat I Espeon. Another Psychic Type So It's Going To Hurt Crobat And Machamp. Dazzling Gleam Hurts Absol And Druddigon. Focus Blast Hurts Absol, Heliolisk And Blissey. Magic Bounce Means It's A Good Switch In Against You Blissey If They Predict Toxic. But Other Wise It's A Decent Team

Hi Stargazaar,

Interesting team! There are a few changes I would suggest.

I don't actually think you need Ice Punch on Machamp. While it is nice to hit Salamence, you outspeed Mence with Heliolisk and can do significant damage there, any of the special LO sets are hard walled by Blissey, you have priority to deal damage with Absol for DD sets and always have the option of sacking Drudd for a chunk of damage. I

Considering you have a Druddigon that doesn't carry Gunk Shot, an Absol and an LO Heliolisk, I think the following set switch on Machamp would be worthwhile, as it lets you outspeed and OHKO Florges, and CM sets can give your team quite a hard time at the moment (basically 6-0s if Crobat is worn down at all), with only Crobat able to deal noticable damage to it.

Machamp @ Assault Vest
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 88 SpD / 168 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dynamic Punch
- Heavy Slam
- Knock Off
- Bullet Punch

This set keeps Bullet Punch, which normally would be Ice Punch/Stone Edge, because you have a bit of an issue with Mega Aerodactyl, so getting ~40-50 off with BP is nice. The speed investment is there to catch 4 Speed Florges.

Some other suggestions I would try out:

Super Fang over Cross Poison on Crobat. This can act as a lure for teams that have super Bulky Steel types that don't involve you wearing them down with repeated Brave Birds and then being forced to switch out. This suggestion is only if you want to keep it banded - for me, and for your team, I think a Sharp Beak > Band and Roost > Cross Poison set would be the best overall, to be honest.

Specs > LO on Heliolisk. Lisk is so prone to killing itself, because it's often coming in on Rocks and then taking LO recoil to do negligable damage on Blissey/Florges/etc. Specs keeps damage output high but lets you last almost "twice" as long because you're only taking rocks, at the cost of changing up moves, but it's hardly likely that someone is bringing in, say, a Swampert on Lisk in the first place because Grass Knot is so ubiquitous.

I'm not sure what's up with that grammar, but Medicham is literally nonexistent in the UU metagame, and Espeon is neither a common mon in the meta by any stretch of the imagination and Blissey + MAbsol should beat it with ease regardless.

But anyways, your team is pretty weak to CM Psychics, Slurpuff and DD Mence so I'd suggest SD Doublade > Machamp as it checks a lot of similar mons specifically normal types while also checking a majority of the tier's physical threats.

Doublade @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Gyro Ball
- Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword

Hey big thanks to teal6 and mr MrMurkrow. I would like to keep my machamp for now so no doublade replacement but i may try it later.
teal6, i implemented all the changes u proposed. crobat: sharp beak> band and roost> cross poison and machamp: new evs and heavy slam>ice punch.
Now my florges counter becomes machamp instead of crobat. And could u perhaps elaborate on how can i beat choice scarf moxie salamence? If it comes in
and uses outrage, without ice punch, i only have bullet punch, and absol's s.punch to deal with it.
