RMT OU (stuck at 1500 on showdown ladder)

I made this team about two months ago when I wanted to try out scarfed Scizor, but after a while I realized that the team was performing pretty well. I recently picked it back up again with a few changes, but got stuck at around 1500 on the ladder. Any help would be appreciated.

Scizor @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Knock Off

This mon is the reason I started this team, but that doesn't mean it needs to stay. It outspeeds and OHKOs mons such as max speed Gengar and Alakazam with Knock Off, and outspeeds neutral speed natured Talonflames, which can be killed with a Knock Off after taking rocks damage or some recoil. Combined with priority and a fast U-Turn, scarfed Scizor can be brought in with the unexpected speed and surprise factor that can score some KOs.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Ancient Power

Heatran is my specially defensive wall with a few other tricks. It is my current Stealth Rocker and phazer, while being able to take on a few mons on its own. Ancient Power is mainly for Talonflame and Lava Plume is a decently powerful STAB move with a chance to burn.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 224 Spd / 252 Atk / 32 HP
Naive Nature
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Landorus-T is here for Intimidate and wearing down the opponents team. HP Ice takes a decent chunk out of Gliscor and Dragonite, and it has just enough speed to outspeed Timid max Rotom-W. Knock Off can take care of crippling Chansey so Gardevoir can handle it, U-Turn is for pivoting, and Earthquake as a strong STAB move.

Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt

Mega Gardevoir is a very underestimated threat in the OU metagame. It outspeeds Pranksters such as Klefki and Sableye before mega evolving, which means it can trace their ability and Substitute before they can status it. Its Hyper Voice is amazingly powerful, with enough power to OHKO 252 HP 4 SpDef AV Conkeldurr and even specially defensive Mandibuzz after Stealth Rocks. It can take on Blissey and Chansey resonably well with Psyshock, and almost no offensive mon can take two Hyper Voices.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Fang

Gyarados is my main switch-in to Aegislash and Azumarill because the rest of my team does not take those two on too well. Having two Intimidators is very handy with Landorus-T's ability two U-Turn into this one. Dragon Dance combined with its coverage can sweep through teams after weakening anything that can take a hit after one or two boosts.

Kyurem-Black @ Leftovers
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 SAtk / 88 HP / 168 Spd
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam

Kyurem-B handles Rotom-W so well that I'm surprised that it isn't seen more often. Its HP EVs give it enough for 101 HP Substitutes, and it can outspeed most variants of Rotom-W. Uninvested Volt Switches or Hydro Pumps can't break the Substitutes, and Kyurem-B's ability makes it so Earth Power can hit back. With the amount of Rotom-Ws existing in OU teams, Kyurem-B can get up a free Substitute in almost every battle.

This team seems to have a lot of trouble with banded Azumarill and Sand Stream boosted Excadrills. I would also like to add in a Rapid Spinner/Defogger, but I can't figure out which team member can be taken away from the team as it is. Again, any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.

First of all well done, this has a good base which could become a very good team!

i'll go through pokemon by pokemon with my suggestions! :)

Scizor, is not made to be a scarfed pokemon, he already has a powerful stab in technician bullet punch and I would suggest changing him to this set as the unexpected speed isn't worth it IMO;
Scizor @ Iron Plate
Technician
252Atk 248HP 8Speed
Adamant
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Bug Bite
- Knock Off

This will firstly allow you to bluff a banded set, one of the most popular sets at the moment, and allow you to set up on weakened foes and fairies. As most Azumarills run 124 speed to outspeed no speed scizor, this 8speed will allow you to outspeed this and KO belly jet sitrus azumarill after it has set up.

Gyarados, as you want it to switch into aegislash, I would reccomend much more of a bulky DD set, with 88HP 252Atk and 174Speed, allowing you to take on more pokemon face to face, instead of rely on switch ins.

Kyurem-Black seems okay, however you may want to consider going with a Rash nature with Outrage, 170 base attack shouldn't go to waste!

Lando-T and Heatran
Firstly, For Landorus-Therian, HP Ice is no longer necessary as other landorus, dragonite and gliscor arent the threats they used to be, ad is probably a wasted moveslot. I would replace this with Stone Edge for charizard and talonflame switch ins.
Secondly, also for Landorus-Therian, I would replaace knock off with stealth rock, and then go with a 212 HP/200Def/56spe/42atk EV Spread. This gurantees you outspeed some rotoms and still live hits.
Got Some Calcs:
-1 252 Atk Pure Power Mega Medicham Ice Punch vs. 212 HP / 200+ Def Landorus-T: 292-348 (78.4 - 93.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
-1 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 212 HP / 200+ Def Landorus-T: 170-204 (45.6 - 54.8%) -- 5.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 212 HP / 200+ Def Landorus-T: 258-306 (69.3 - 82.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
-1 252+ Atk Conkeldurr Ice Punch vs. 212 HP / 200+ Def Landorus-T: 204-244 (54.8 - 65.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Overall with this set of Evs It can still take hits quite well, out speed some pokemon like rotom-wash, and avoid getting hydro pump'd. You can do damage to help wear down some pokemon as shown in the following calcs:
42 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 186-219 (46 - 54.2%) -- 48.4% chance to 2HKO
42 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Medicham: 177-208 (67.8 - 79.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Then, I would replace Heatran for Excadrill. I would run this set;
Excadrill @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin
- Rock Slide

This will help you out with Rotom-Wash as well as beig able to OHKO talonflame and charizard, as well as providing a spinner which you said you wanted in the thread.

Hope this helps and good luck! :)

After testing your team out a bit, I came to the conclusion that a Mega Venusaur could help a lot, and I think you should put it instead of Garde. I'd recommend this set:

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Modest nature
EVs: 252 Satk / 248 HP / 8 Def
- Synthesis
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power Fire

This set absolutely does not care about Azumarill, and hardly takes any damage, even from play rough. HP Fire lets you take out Excadrill pretty easily, and the added bulk can really help you out. F or a defogger, try out Latias, maybe instead of heatran. For Latias, try this set:

Latias @ Leftovers
Timid Nature
EVs:252 Hp / 12188 Sdef / 80 SAtk

Thanks a lot for the suggestions! Using Excadrill as a scarfer instead of Scizor while adding a way to remove hazards seems too good to pass up. I will definitely try the spreads you suggest for my other mons and see how those work out. Thanks again!

Replacing Mega Gardevoir with Mega Venusaur has crossed my mind a few times, although the ability to get up a free Substitute and do massive damage to common walls seems like too much to pass up. If Garde starts becoming countered more often, I will definitely try out Venu instead. Thanks!
