Sorry if this seems underdeveloped, but I'm not sure how to expand it. anyway, RNGing is taking over WiFi, but there are some people, like myself, who can't seem to get the hang of it. and I thought that we would be able to have sort of an RNGing 101, like our current Battle tutorial system. It would work in much the same way that the Battling 101 thread system does, but it would focus on the RNGing for Emerald, Breeding DPPT, capturing DPPT, Breeding HGSS(I'm not sure if this is any different or not), capturing HGSS.

I am under the impression that the RNG thread by itself is adequate, but I'd also like to know what some of my fellow staffers think.

I thought about it before, and I believe the flaw is that the most effective way to 'teach' RNG manipulation would be in person, with teacher and student both having access to the physical DS. To attempt to teach RNG manipulation on a forum or using instant messaging/IRC would, IMHO, not be very effective.
Maybe if some sort of video streaming could be used, so that the teacher and student could see each other's DSes, it might work. Emulators might help with this, but there one has to be careful to avoid discussing piracy. (It could of course be done with a real DS, but getting good enough video quality won't be easy; normal webcams probably won't work well.)
Video lectures/tutorials should also be useful. I expect there are already some on Youtube.
