RU RU Circuit Playoffs - Finals [Won by Pohjis]

????

A. originally scheduled time is 5 hours from now, hasn't even passed yet. I can still play at the originally scheduled time, I only asked for the possibility of pushing it back further because I won't be able to use my laptop with my teams, and I'm sick. I would still play today at the original time if needed. You could have just said no last night and moved on, but I was greatly appreciative of you agreeing.
B. Original time is only this late because I was busy with the holidays in the week, and eternally had no available times in the weekend, which is ridiculous in itself, but we agreed to Monday which worked. I obviously could not foresee leaving my charger at home and falling sick.
C. You think me preparing for my game = evidence that I am purposefully evading my opponent? what the fuck? How is that grounds for giving me a loss? The logic here is completely broken, but if you just think i'm lying about my laptop, I'm not sure what to tell you cuz that's ridiculous. Either way, stopping me from playing at the originally scheduled time today makes no sense.

e: if my intent to play this game is not apparant enough, I am online on smogtours and have been since 10 minutes before our scheduled time. I also VMd Eternally to let him know, though I doubt he will show up as he has no reason to unless you say otherwise. I am fine with playing later, but this decision is really quite ridiculous and should be overturned.

while you were busy partying and having interracial sex i studied the hello i'm flamiving victincti i can play at 11:30 pm-11:31 pm my time if you can't play outside of this time range i'm taking the activity win

Nat vs Eternal Spirit - idk i have a feeling Nat will beat gama probs 2-1ish
KW vs EviGaro - both made a couple of questionable plays maybe but KW's win is definitely more convincing overall
Eternally vs Meru - could be close but depends on the motivation of either. Eternally after all is coming off a hot win vs fv
Kushalos vs Pohjis - ngl im leaning towards kushalos there, i was definitely gonna bold his name, but pohjis has a good chance of beating anyone and the pearl games werent disappointing although there was some luck factors that might have made it a shorter series than it should have been

pretty disappointing to go out to rabbit accidentally giving pohjis a team with rocks gligar and bronzong w/ no removal, but I could have played better some turns i'm sure. G1/G2 were loads of fun. It's been a lot better of a year for me in RU than I could have ever hoped for pre-2018, so I'm obviously thankful for that even if I'm tilted atm w/ how the set closed today. The meta this entire year post-durant ban has had largely the same feel with a few the exception of a few discoveries, and I'm definitely grateful to have experienced it in full. gl to the ppl left, cya in spl.

Don't mind the shitty armchairs EviGaro Eternally -- that was a good, close series and I enjoyed watching it personally. I have respect for the teams both of you used and the plays both of you made. I hope you both keep playing in big tournaments like these.

Apparently people on this website (especially those who aren't actually good enough to qualify for these tournaments) feel that they are in a good position to publicly criticize/shame people who did qualify, play their best, and put in tons of effort. Why is this the case? I don't know, but I wish it stopped and people instead were more positive or at least constructive moving forward. I think that there are certain platforms for casual shittalk and criticism (especially if it's in jest or there is some background/context), but most people do not have a proper sense of what they truly are and instead come off as insulting.

Going onto the final itself: I think I'll favor and root for Pohjis; I don't think anyone has been as versatile as him this year and he has been impressive while doing so. This would be a great way to cap it all off. It should be a very close series regardless, so good luck both!

dang what an awesome finals, pohjis is almost a vet at this point vs the up-and-comer evigaro. idk who to root for or predict because this could go either way so easily.

also just imo, that set between evi and eternally was one of the best low tier sets in recent times. 3 nail-biters in a row and really well played games, especially that g2 :pimp:
