I finally get to use the GOAT. Here it is the undisputed best thing in the whole tier. This muscle milk set literally doesnt care about anything besides like cress and necrozma in RU. Upon seeing that it's not guts orb your opponent running that bad defogger Mantine will recognize that the worst threat is likely a 1 trick knock off that it can heal off and then sit on champ (i mean heck they're running mantine, they probably think champs best set is dynamicpunch anyway). Sike, as we have the kill RU champion set. Tpunch is obviously an ohko on mantine that lets champ also solo mandibuzz, mblast, golisopod, and milotic without taking unnecessary damage from spdef drops in CC. Eq+bullet punch lets it beat scarf gard and diancie 1v1, as well as another option for metagross, and wins against dragalge. This set has probably netted me more KOs than anything in RU this gen.

Thunderbolt is standard on nidoqueen despite any trends... certainly not a lure whatsoever. AV Machamp with thunder punch is also not a lure since it is commonly used on guts assault vest champ to do damage to blastoise mega to avoid defense drops and it hits golisopod so... for this tie and to decide a winner for an actual lure we gonna crown Garance as the winner of this week (altho thunder fang drapion... gets it hit golisopod too, will let it slide for this one)
Lets lure something else, shall we? Surprise the next with a funny kill or weaken it enough for something to finish it off.

most people see sr meta and assume it's carrying one of toxic, pursuit or boom in its last slot, making it a pretty free switchin for golis that are fine with trading should it happen to be explosion. elec z takes advantage of that, blowing away any cocky pods that try to switch in and forcing it out from full hp at worst and ohkoing after rocks damage/some chip at best. it also works to blast slowbro and catch defog mandi/blastoise off guard, allowing you to keep your sr up more effectively vs them.

Simple lure, besides possible Scald burns Golisopod won't fear anything from Slowbro at all as its coverage options are Ice Beam, which isn't super effective and Psyshock, which also won't do enough damage. But Z-Zap Cannon does the trick and has a Chance to OHKO Golisopod without Stealth Rocks up.

Rockium Z Donphan is an amazing lure to Golisopod. Golisopod doesn't give two hoots about the standard Donphan set of Earthquake / Knock Off / Rapid Spin / Ice Shard and can easily switch in on it and liquidate it to death. However, with Rockium Z Headsmash, Donphan will always OHKO Golisopod. The 12 Spe EV's on Donphan allows it to outspeed Golisopod when it's packing just 88 speed.Donphan @ Rockium Z
