Sorry, I was thinking of the 40EV/216EV spread for Defenses or offenses but I forgot to modify the Defense EV's to 60 so it'd fit.
Arbok does have access to shedrest though, which could allow more coils. No weaknesses is hard to pass up though.
Going back to Dunsparce, he IS the only reliable ParaFlincher in the tier (Togetic is able to do it as well, but 40 base attack means Headbutt isn't going to do shit, and it doesn't get Air Slash. Moltres only has a 30% flinch chance with his Air Slash, and nobody runs Thunder Wave on Yanmega) so it does have some use there.

Because unless you run a specially bulky set, you're not GETTING 2 or 3 Coils. 85/80/80 aren't god-given defenses, and the fact that you outspeed none of the top special threats, you will get OHKO'd or 2HKO'd by then and get one Coil off tops. Its glaring slow Speed stat is the reason it doesn't work as well as it could.
Yeah, it works best against teams that don't have a ton of powerful special attackers. Specs Yanmega will still break a hole in your soul even with max investment.
^Rock doesn't resist Bug, only Steel does, so Tinted Lens means Aggron takes neutral damage.
There are no 4x bug resists in the tier that I know of, which means that nothing resists Bug Buzz from Tinted Lens Yanmega.
EDIT: Moltres. Eviolite Candle thing. Those are the only things useable in RU that can resist a tinted lens Bug Buzz.
Yeah. Both fire and flying resist bug.
There's Rotom-S, but yeah none of them can really do much back.
I'd move to say that charizard or drifblim are more useful than evolite candle... but moltres is the only REALLY useful 4x resist to bug

Every Yanmega ever created has Air Slash.
I think that pretty much sums it up. Looking over the full list of 4x resists (Zubat, Golbat, Gastly, Haunter, Moltres, Combusken, Monferno, Drifloon, Drifblim, Croagunk, Pignite, Emboar, Litwick, Lampent), Eviolite Golbat seems the only other one I can see having any real use, but this may be only due to me seeing it used very effectively in a OU warstory a while ago.
I'd agree with golbat actually... mostly because 1). doesnt have a 4x weakness to sr like moltres and 2). Is the only one aside from moltres that can heal itself =T. Inner focus even means it wont get random flinces from air slash (and i think it can survive 2) and proceed to super fang / roost / Brave Bird it to death. Not a perfect counter, but a decent deffensive threat in RU all the same
Pfft, Specs. Yanmega with LEFTOVERS 2HKO's a max HP +Sp. Def nature Eelektross after Rocks.
Also, I re-read the OP (bored) and noticed that Primeape is still on there, despite so few people actually using it. Same thing with Umbreon (why the hell Umbreon isn't as common as stuff like Ferroseed... I don't know). Also, Rhydon/Rhyperior aren't listed as Entei counters, although they resist its entire set, as HP Grass hasn't been seen as much (and even with the HP Grass weakness, Gastrodon is still listed as a counter for Entei).
Just because a pokemon isnt used a lot doesn't mean its not a threat.
Granted, but if your opponent uses a specslens set then it doesn't matter what moves can hurt Shedinja (Being locked into one that does not).
Otherwise something with soundproof still works, mr. mime can switch into bug buzz without harm, (hopefully, 40 hp is horrendous) take a single Air Slash should your opponent not have choice specs, and kill with thunderbolt.
Though lets be fair, using Mr. Mime competitively is iffy at best.
I've run in to a fair amount of Yanmegas (and used a couple myself) with Ancient Power, which absolutely obliterates Moltres. People almost always assume it a safe switch in. If you randomly get the stat increase with it as well then...well, it's gg from there. +1/+1/+1/+1/+? LO Yanmega can't be stopped.
Granted you have to give up either Protect or a coverage move for it (ditching Protect being the better choice imo), but it's very helpful.
