WoW/taunt/recover/night shade pretty much shuts down stall completely. Way more so than something like CM reuniclus which everyone is QQing about. Short of having heatran on the team, there's really nothing stall can do to this sableye.
On the other hand, WoW/Swagger/Trickery means you only have one other slot, and losing Taunt or Recover is going to hurt a lot.
Why would you use Will-O-Wisp and Swagger together? That's really counteractive, since Will-O-Wisp will make Trickery weaker. If you really need a status on him, use Toxic for this set. Or better yet, use Substitute and then Recover in the last slot. That way you can Swagger and then Sub until they hurt themselves, and you can freely attack or Recover behind the unbroken sub.
As was mentioned, burn doesn't affect the damage you do with Trickery. Hence the thought that you could do much more damage with Swagger yet limit it to yourself with burn.
How about a Sableye using Bark out as a way of damage and surviving special hits by lowering the opponent's Sp.Atk seeing as WoW halves the opponent's Atk? Is that Viable?
Words can't describe my love for this poke though, especially using him as a lead.

I thought of this lead set for Sableye.
Sableye
Ability: Prankster
Nature: Brave/Quiet (+Atk/SpA, -Spe)
IVs: 31/31/0/31/0/0
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpA
Item: Focus Sash
Moves: Fake Out
Will-o-Wisp / Toxic
Taunt
Metal Burst
Throw it out against a lot of leads, Taunt with Prankster's priority to prevent set-up. Brace for a powerful hit then return it with a very slow Metal Burst (dealing ~455 damage if the attack leaves Sableye with 1 HP). If that doesn't take it out, toss a Toxic at it or Will-o-Wisp.
Metal burst has 0 priority, which would still get boosted to +1 by Prankster :(
Have you tested it? I would think Metal Burst, and Counter and Mirror Coat, would be counted as damaging attacks and not get the Prankster boost.
The way burn works is that it halves your damage, not your attack value. I tested it in game a while back.
Foul Play works off of the opponent's Attack stat to calculate damage, not yours. So if Sableye gets burned then Trickery's damage is halved?
So, no one uses Metal Burst on Sableye? Sure, you can't have priority Recover with it, but it still should be useful right?
