It sounds like Groudon would mostly get usurped by Koraidon.

I think they'll have different roles. Groudon's typing is probably better defensively since it isn't Xerneas or Ho-oh bait, nor is it weak to dragons.

Can you check Beast Boost to see if it's still "highest stat" or "most proficient stat" now?

Note I'm getting this from discord secondhand from theorymon and kalalokki. Right now they are finding funny moves though and it seems like the PLA stuff is there but you can't see move descriptions, as well as most other moves.

Regenerator has the same description and the rumours you've heard are probably untrue if the other ability stuff was false.

Groudon has a hugely important electric immunity and spread move, as well as generally high stats. Plus the typing is better into a lot of common stuff (especially with Miraidon existing now).

Generic opinion that I believe you'd also agree with, but "can tera into X to deal with" is generally much worse than "can deal with X"

True, but not like Groudon deals with Xerneas without its Primal form and can't touch Ho-oh without Stone Miss or Miss Slide.

Personally, if pokemon spawn as much as they do in PLA then I'm ok with breeding being gone. Literally the only thing you can't change about a Pokémon at this point is its gender so it's not likblebwe need breeding to ba able to make battle ready Pokémon.
