For context the bird webm was named 介绍 for introduction, so it may mean the next ingame part of the intro.

Blaziken already exists, so even if it was it would still be broken(though IMO it was never a thing in the first place it's just that people are mentally conditioned to find patterns where there are none, especially since USUM revealed there already was an intentional Zodiac that was already completed in Gen II if you show the director at Game Freak a Piloswine caught in the Gen II VGC games)

For clarification I think he meant the original twitter leaker.
Incidentally apparently they tried to reach out to Centro to publish the leaks but were ignored. Who knows how it would've gone down if that happened.

Granted, that's kind of a problem with a lot of the bird Pokemon to begin with, but coming from last gen's Corviknight and Cramorant it still feels like a typical Gamefreak step backward.

I just hope the Electric/Flying one is cool. Or at the very least 'quirky' enough to work. I wanted that type on a Pokemon that can evolve so badly.

Blaziken (and Torchic) is a chicken/rooster, which is one of the Zodiac animals. Did you mean Cyndaquil or Fennekin?

Here is artwork of Gamefreak celebrating the Year of the Rat with all the rodents, including Cyndaquil. up till now there hasnt been such a drastic deviation from the pattern, but we'll just have to see. Gastrodon was in the celebration foryear of the OX since they are called sea cows, so for all we know Fuecoco is a Bull or the Reptile/Snake rep.

Yeah I know, but people literally claim Fuecoco can take up the chicken slot with Torchic. These people are genuinely insane and honestly doubt that Fuecoco3 clearly not being any animal in the Zodiac would get to admit they were wrong. A Fire starter being based on Crackpipes or GameFreak coming out against the theory probably wouldn’t get them to shut up either.
 
So, to recap the state of 680 BST mons:

We have two new cover legendaries which get special items, which if they do anything functionally integral (like a form change) will probably make those legendaries unaffected by Knock Off as a secondary effect.

We have Giratina, whose Origin form is the better of the two both offensively and defensively (thanks to Levitate) and will become even more so with the three most likely Terastal types for it all massively benefitting from losing a ground weakness. And is, incidentally, not affected by Knock Off.

We have Dialga and Palkia, which just got Origin forms in PLA that are reasonably likely to make it into SV. Those forms are heavily implied to be connected to the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs, so the most obvious assumption is they'll work like Giratina and become unaffected by Knock Off.

We're rumoured to maybe be getting Hoopa, whose ability is usually useless because none of the items you want to put on it are consumable... unless Hoopa is hit by Knock Off, at which point hitting with any move lets you Uno reverse card the effect.

I don't want to be presumptuous here but I don't think Knock Off is going to be very useful in the post-Home ubers meta.

Male crocodiles and gators are referred to as bulls which in theory still matches the Ox as the males are also called bulls
