Metagame SCL I Doubles OU Discussion [$50 + Discord Nitro Prize]

[TMS] Nails vs stax [SPA] - If this was anyone else I might bold stax here but while stax had a good win last week, Nails had an even more impressive one. Stax also said he didn't know Zygarde got and ran superpower which is probably not ideal.
[ISL] Mishimono vs Qwello Lee [DYN] - Still not convinced on Mishi just yet. I liked Qwello's team more than Mishi's last week and Mishi's win wasn't impressive enough for me to bold him over Qwello who I think will be hungry to not go 0-2 and pop off like he can.
[BRE] Spurrific vs Z Strats [PLA] - Sure he's got tons of VGC trophies but I don't see any individual DOU championships under his belt. Spurrific has got nothing on the Drop an Ubers minitour champion.
[SHO] Frania vs Paraplegic [GIB] - Honestly could see this one go either way, I think both had poor showings last week but Frania has been here before and will probably be less nervous than Para who is known to be susceptible to bad nerves.
[TER] Actuarily vs Memoric [FOX] - Wasn't really all that impressed with Memo last week and Actuarily still hasn't proven he can win and the team choice doesn't inspire much confidence. Another match I wouldn't be surprised to see go the other way, and another match where I'm basically just bolding the more experienced player.

- [TMS] Nails vs stax [SPA] - Nick is the greatest player I've ever seen in my life, go tms.
- [ISL] Mishimono vs Qwello Lee [DYN] - Despite my prediction for this game, I feel like mishi is not getting the credit he deserves. Turn1 that could've went horribly wrong aside he played a very solid match last week, giving memo little to no room to get back into the game, dude can play well and he's been doing his thing for more than just a while now and it's been working for him. On the other hand, qwello is coming off a rough week1 suffering a loss to inevitable god steela, I believe his style matches up pretty well into mishi's builds so that's why I'm giving him the advantage. Definitely looking forward to catching this one live.

- [TER] Actuarily vs Memoric [FOX] - Both players are coming off losses from week1 and (sadly) questionable team choices. I was really surprised when I opened memoric's preview as I believe his team wasn't something that generally fit his style, poor magmar just suffered a terrible matchup into landorus-I (still unsure why that wasn't a volcarona btw!!). In similar fashion bandit brought bad mon regular zapdos so that couldn't have gone well ever... Going with the upset here as I believe bandit and zee will be very hungry and motivated for a win but overall I think this matchup is pretty close.
