Metagame SCL I LC Discussion

LilyAC vs KSG - oops i choked last week in the builder, hopefully ive learnt my lesson... ksg's 0-2 record is a little unfair and it wouldnt be unreasonable to predict the upset
Toadow (40) vs (60) dcae - good to see toadow bringing a better build last week. dcae won but not convincingly, so i think toadow has a decent chance here, but dcae is favoured nonetheless
teal6 (45) vs (55) daunt vs - luthier and teal fixed their prep problem by using a team that won in week 1, which is a smart move. teal played fine too. ill say dvs is favoured bc he played well vs kythr (maybe he deserves more than 55 even), but ive still got his week 1 game in the back of my mind where he messed up badly vs ksg and dodged a hjk to get back in the game. so i feel like going with teal
kythr (55) vs boulicrok (45) - kythr hasnt been meeting expectations but he's gonna make up for it this week i can feel it
Wail Wailord (40) vs (60) Laroxyl - i think in raw playing ability they're probably about even, but laro has better teams. wail's team was too grookey weak this time

Interesting Trends from Week 3:
  1. The return of Porygon: As I predicted Week 1, PoryPinch made several appearances this week. Porygon showcased several different sets, ranging from everyone's favorite Choice Scarf to the return of Agility and Berry Juice Porygon.
  2. Staryu: After seeing 14 uses in 2 weeks, Staryu was only used on 2 teams this week and lose both times.
I have also compiled the current standings for the LC prediction tours, since femboy disappeared (Pls come back :blobsad: ). I know the formatting sucks, but you can just use Ctrl + F to find your name and the amount of points you current have (updated for Week 3).

Might as well put my predictions here
LilyAC vs daunt vs - DVS told me to bold Lily
dcae vs boulicrok - honestly dont see dcae losing back to back. Bouli is 3-0 so this bold feels really bad, but I believe in the dcae innovation.
KSG vs Laroxyl - KSG is 0-3 =(
Toadow vs Wail Wailord - honestly 50/50. I think this one is gonna be decided by matchup, since both players have a tendency to bring out the surprise picks.
Luthier vs kythr - kythr looked better last week than his week 2 showing. Luthier has a super high ceiling, especially in LC, but I haven't seen him touch SS at all.
 
Lilyac vs Daunt vs: at least if daunt loses i get a point
dcae vs boulicrok: bouli has been doing well but theres no way dcae goes 1-3
ksg vs laroxyl: i cant predict for my lpl opponent of course
Toadow vs wail wailord: at least if wail wins and daunt doesnt lose the bet ill get a point
Luthier vs kythr: luthier is good but has he ever played this gen
