SoulWind vs 64 Squares
64 looked really comfortable in his win vs FC and will probably do very well this season based on that showing. But. Soulwind. I'll still be bolding him every week until given a reason to do so otherwise, especially given his showing vs Manaphy.
Exiline vs
TrueNora
Nora was the only Mainer to beat Team Spain last week and in an impressive fashion too. He even got a compliment from Shake for his performance. Exiline meanwhile dedicated a sexiline show to his friend, who probably doesnt want to be associated with that game all things considered. Nora looked the far more impressive in their respective first games, and I rate Nora as a builder over everyone on the Islanders.
byronthewellwell vs
Poek
Poek and Byron both lost in the week 1 games, but I feel byron is still getting used to SS when it comes to building. Tony giving Poek the support in the builder remains a scary proposition and I think that the edge will show in this game.
Manaphy vs
Fc
A very difficult call, I went back and forth with this repeatedly. FC hasnt ever beaten Manaphy in a tour game, which feels like an anomaly of a stat, and both are going to be looking to bounce back from rough starts. Manaphy's week 1 game felt like a very typical Manaphy team though, which was not what I was hoping to see. If I see Bliss + Buzz or CalyDon from him this week I'll be sad, he can be extremely creative and I dont want to think he's going to fall back on his standard in such a big environment.
Icemaster vs M Dragon
Same shit as Exiline last week, if I predict my teammate to win they'll
miss 2 consecutive Precipice Blades to lose. Taking this hit so that Mdragon has a decent chance in the real game.
