Semi-finals recap!
vs
Lime and rob stuck to their winning playstyles and ended up loading similar teams with 4 mons appearing on both teams, neither player wanting to experiment in an important week. Due to the nature of both teams and zoroark shenanigans, the game was very fast paced as both players kept trading back and forth. Lime did end up winning the trading war with Tera Fairy Volcanion forcing rob into an awkward spot and ending the game a few turns later. Lime gets to advance to finals with his team and robjr ends the season with a respectable 6-4 record.
vs
a very interesting offense from stresh, with him bringing similar styles before, and another bee appearance from BIHI interestingly enough. This game doesn't last long though as Gyarados sets up on Volcanion on t3 and ends the game then and there with a cool set that gets mentioned every now and then in the cord which is rest chesto berry Gyarados. Not much to say here, well done Xav, but unfortunately his team fails to make finals but he does boast the best record in the tier with a dominant 8-2, what a performance.
Stats!
Zapdos and Jirachi got used on every team this week, how cool! Not much to say with a small sample size but its interesting seeing the rise of Volcanion the last few weeks, a hot topic as of recently with how restricting it can be sometimes.
