Its possible Des is trying to set me up as a scapegoat and I will see only one Liberal policy. If that happens then it would kind of suck and obviously Des and I would end up crossvoting forever.

Not much else to say about this. Objectively, Carl is the correct chancellor, but Im willing to do it even if it risks a confrontation with Des.

Cool. It's been 12 hours with no votes or commentary.

Seems no one shares my views on AP, that's fine. If elected, it will be dangerous to go against us here. We'll see what happens.

I'm not willing to elect anyone who claimed a 4-1 policy at this time, not AP, fairy, or CK when we have other options. We just simply don't need to do it. I've gone back and forth on where I find AP in this list compared to the others. Sometimes it seems like he has an agenda or wants to protect himself. Other times it seems he has good points. I'm sure his time as chancellor will help sort things out but that doesn't mean I'm obligated to approve that vote when someone like saber or chickening who I townread much stronger could be elected instead.

I could vote any of these previous presidents at this point and be fine with it, but I currently feel worst about CK who seems to be fading into the background again, perhaps hoping to float bad policies randomly if randed president in the future. Is there anyone you feel worse about?

Is there any way Carl could have died other than the Anarchist street justice? There isn't any other source of nightkills that I can see and DBD's post had some flavor in it, I think that was pretty clear.

Even if ap is scum, wouldnt a fascist policy being implemented reveal that they are in fact scum so we could vote them out. We’d be at 8 fascist policies but we could have someone claim so as to not elect hitler.

Yes, and that's what I intend to do if they do that. But I see no reason to endorse this if it's in my bottom half of chancellor options, and I see no reason I should be obligated to endorse it. If your argument is that my vote probably doesn't matter for our victory, existentially, and that I should just log off and stop playing this game, you're probably right. I've seen enough potential town wins that I have been a part of be fumbled due to egregious apathy and inactivity so I will continue to express my opinions and do my part.

the President will have one more chance to nominate a different Chancellor, and then it will be chosen randomly. the elimination vote will end at normal deadline, however.

Deadline passed. The previous votecount remains unchanged.

CrreamyKitty is executed at dusk. This comes as a shock to you all as you gather for tea and hear discussion of a person's death that you piece together as your friend. They were, in the end, a Public Transportation Officer.

We've entered Dusk. At this time, the only votes that can be placed are "yea" or "nay" votes for the chancellorship. saberslasher11 has been nominated for Chancellor. This Dusk period will last for 48 hours.

If this vote fails, the Chancellor will be randomized. The policies discarded will not be, however, as I have received them. The policies implemented will be resolved with the start of the day phase.

You may still talk in the game thread.
