[OVERVIEW]

Shaymin distinguishes itself from other offensive Grass-types like Celebi and Mega Sceptile with its access to Z-Celebrate, which boosts all of its stats by one stage. The boosted bulk and Speed can make Shaymin fairly difficult to revenge kill due to its neutrality to Scizor's Bullet Punch and ability to outspeed Mega Aerodactyl and Choice Scarf Hydreigon with boosts. Shaymin also finds easy opportunities to set up on common Pokemon such as Krookodile and Slowbro due to its decent Speed and bulk. which further defines its niche as the only viable user of Z-Celebrate in the tier, and access to the devastating Seed Flare can make common counterplay such as Mega Aggron and Moltres possibly lose if they immediately switch in and have their Special Defense dropped. Shaymin’s biggest flaw that it has only one opportunity to set up, which makes it confined to late-game as a cleaner. It needs to ensure that it doesn’t set up prematurely to where its checks can still reliably wall and remove it. It's mono-Grass typing can also be a burden due to the lack of a secondary typing that could give it leverage against checks such as Mega Aggron and Moltres. Shaymin also requires strenuous team support and the rest of the team to work together to remove or chip away at its checks to let it sweep late-game. Shaymin cannot circumvent special walls such as Blissey and Amoonguss, unlike other offensive Grass-types like Celebi and Decidueye. Because of this, Shaymin finds major competition against Celebi, which can reliably set up Nasty Plot far more throughout the match and can bust through common counterplay with Z-Moves.

Moves
========

Dazzling Gleam is Shaymin’s first coverage option to nail Dragon-types that cannot be harmed by Seed Flare such as Hydreigon, Latias, and Kommo-o. Hidden Power Fire is Shaymin’s way of removing Scizor while hitting other Steel-types such as Mega Aggron, Doublade, and Bronzong.

Set Details
========

Natural Cure can be decently useful to Shaymin, as it can pivot in for its teammates on status moves from Alomomola and Klefki. Normalium Z boosts all of Shaymin's stats by one stage when used in tandem with Celebrate, which increases its bulk and lets it outspeed Choice Scarf users like Hydreigon and Krookodile.

Usage Tips
========

Shaymin should only be brought in late-game once its checks and counters have either been chipped down or removed. Because of this, Shaymin should stay as healthy as possible and should never be brought in on anything unless it is a last resort scenario. Shaymin can set up on Pokemon such as Krookodile and Slowbro, as they fail to do any significant damage to it. However, Shaymin should avoid setting up on Pokemon that can still deal a significant amount of damage even if Shaymin can beat them, as Shaymin takes a longer time to break through them. Mega Steelix and Gligar are defensive Pokemon that fall under this criteria. Avoid Toxic and paralysis while setting up, as they can either hinder or neutralize Shaymin completely and waste its one opportunity at sweeping. Seed Flare is useful in fishing for possible Special Defense drops on Pokemon that take it neutrally such as Nihilego and Mega Steelix in order to break through them much more smoothly. Seed Flare can also place Pokemon such as Latias and Amoonguss in range of Shaymin’s coverage moves.

Team Options
========

Shaymin fits best on specific bulky offense teams that offer constant support in order to let it clean up effectively. Shaymin easily takes advantage of the support offered from Pursuit, so Pokemon like Mega Aerodactyl, Scizor, and Krookodile can scare out and weaken Blissey, Bronzong, and Moltres. Moltres and Rotom-H are effective stops to bulky Steel-types such as Mega Aggron and Doublade so Shaymin won't have to rely too much on Hidden Power Fire. Terrakion and Infernape offensively pressure teams as powerful wallbreakers that can muscle through bulky Steel-types, take advantage of special walls like Blissey, and can possibly set up entry hazards. Overall, Stealth Rock is mandatory to chip down Grass-type switch-ins like various Fire- and Flying-types. Furthermore, Klefki can stack Spikes to constantly chip away the opposition, softening up bulky Steel-types for Shaymin to break more easily. Pivoting can also be used to get Shaymin in safely before attempting a sweep. Scizor is a great pivot, as it can lure in bulky Ground-types like Hippowdon and Gligar for Shaymin to take advantage of while also fulfilling the role as a Pursuit trapper.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Earth Power is stronger than Hidden Power Fire, so it allows Shaymin to nail bulky Steel-types for greater damage and hits Poison-types like Nihilego and Alolan Muk more reliably. However, Shaymin now fails to defeat bulkier Scizor sets, and Hidden Power Fire is sufficient to handle other Steel-types.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Special Walls**: Special walls such as Blissey, Amoonguss, and Alolan Muk tank anything that Shaymin can throw at them despite them risking possible Special Defense drops. They still wall Shaymin indefinitely and can slowly but steadily beat it.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Chandelure and Mega Houndoom threaten Shaymin drastically with their primary STAB attack, while Choice Scarf Infernape outspeeds it. Rotom-H and Moltres are also immune to the rare Earth Power from Shaymin.

**Steel-types**: Shaymin’s Hidden Power Fire lacks much firepower behind it, which makes Mega Aggron and Bronzong respectable walls unless they’ve taken considerable damage beforehand.

**Flying-types**: Flying-types like Moltres and Togekiss cannot be seriously harmed by any of Shaymin’s moves if they are still healthy.

overview

Shaymin distinguishes itself from other offensive Grass-types with its access to Z-Celebrate, which boosts all of its stats by one stage.
Give examples of other offensive Grass-types for context. Celebi and Mega Sceptile are good ones since they're the ones that can perform similar roles to Shaymin during a match, with the omni-boosting factor separating them.

With its boosted bulk and speed, Shaymin can also be fairly difficult to reliably revenge kill.
This is something I want you to expand on a whole lot more. First, I'd like you to talk about Shaymin's defensive capabilities and its defensive typing/base defensive stats and how they can help Shaymin finding an opportunity to set up on Pokemon like Krookodile and defensive Primarina, because that's another key difference between Shaymin and any other Pokemon with access to Z-Celebrate (and one of the reasons that justify its recent ranking). The Speed statement is definitely true, it's not the easiest Pokemon to revenge kill, but if you want readers to understand what that really means, mention common priority users/fast Pokemon that have a hard time revenge killing Shaymin like Scizor, Mega Aerodactyl, Hydreigon (the list goes on, just try to pick the most relevant ones in the tier and in the current situation which is a +1 Shaymin).

Shaymin’s biggest flaw is it having only one opportunity to set-up which makes it confined to the late-game as a cleaner.
It also means that it has to be played more carefully than other setup sweepers, since it can easily lose its potential if it sets up prematurely when its checks haven't been weakened enough, even if it has a good matchup from team preview.

Shaymin also requires strenuous team support to remove or chip away at Shaymin’s checks in order for its one shot of sweeping to be executed to the fullest. It often constricts teambuilding to 5 Pokémon performing every other role which can be disadvantageous in some situations.
Expand on the type of team support beyond just "chipping away Shaymin's checks" and why Shaymin doesn't have the ability to be self sustainable. What checks have to be worn out before the Shaymin player can start thinking about setting up?

Shaymin is unfortunately not too strong after a boost either as it fails to OHKO Latias, Mega Altaria, and Doublade with the respective coverage. This means Shaymin might have to take multiple attacks before finishing off opposing Pokemon which can make it a little easier to revenge kill with priority.
You said in the 2nd line that Shaymin was a hard Pokemon to revenge kill, so you'd be contradicting yourself if you put "easy to revenge kill" as a negative. The other part of the sentence is not technically wrong since it can't break through a lot of Pokemon, even at +1, but the examples are not the best. Yes it can't OHKO Mega Altaria or Doublade but they can't do much back anyways (not even putting Shaymin in range of something like a CB Bullet Punch).

set details

Shaymin can be used as a possible status absorber earlier in the game by virtue of Natural Cure but as nothing else.
Using Shaymin as a "status absorber" is the last thing you want to do because you're basically wearing down your wincon for no reason. A worn out Shaymin has even fewer opportunities to set up than a healthy one, so this has to be reworded in some other way. Something as simple as "Natural Cure is useful because it allows Shaymin to cure itself from status from Pokemon like Alomomola and Klefki" is fine, doesn't need to be super complicated.

usage tips

Shaymin should only be used earlier in the game to absorb status with Natural Cure or take a hit from a bulky Ground-type like Hippowdon or Swampert.
Basically the same as the above. You definitely don't want to incentive players to send in Shaymin early-game just to tank an Earthquake from something like Hippowdon, while also taking Sandstorm damage, and potentially Stealth Rock damage (you'd be at like ~60% just from that, which would make it way easier to revenge kill if it was ever setting up latter on). This as a first sentence is just misleading and not a great play at all, so remove it.

Shaymin should typically be used in the late-game where its counterplay has either been removed or chipped to the point that it can remove it itself.
Shaymin can only execute Z-Celebrate once so try to find the most opportune moment in the late-game that Shaymin can set-up and clean through possible pivoting.
I think you can merge these two without much trouble, since they're inherently connected. First, you can talk about how it can only use Z-Celebrate once and for that reason you should only be attempting to set up late-game once its checks are worn out/removed. Then, give examples of what kind of counterplay does the Shaymin player need to be aware of, such as Moltres and Aggron.

You can also either make another point talking about what Shaymin can try to set up on like Krookodile or Slowbro, or just incorporate it in some way in this one. Up to you but be sure to talk about it.

Try to keep Shaymin as healthy as possible for this moment by not sending it out until the end-game unless it absolutely needs to absorb status.
Remove the absorb status part, it just shouldn't be brought in unless a winning situation is feasible.

Shaymin abuses Pursuit support pretty nicely as it chips away at Psychic-types like Latias and Bronzong to give it an advantage.
I wouldn't consider this a usage tip? more like a team option, so remove it.

team options

Shaymin easily abuses the support offered from Pursuit. Trappers like Scizor, Krookodile, and Mega Aerodactyl can scare out and remove Psychic types that Shaymin has trouble breaking like Latias, Celebi, and Bronzong.
I don't disagree but the examples are not good. Shaymin doesn't have an issue breaking through Celebi, and Latias is iffy too since rocks up is good enough to pressure it, you don't need to rely on Pursuit trapping. Something like Moltres and Blissey are better examples that you can use instead.

Moltres and Rotom-H are effective stops to bulky Steel-types so Shaymin doesn’t have to rely too much on Hidden Power Fire.
Give examples of bulky steels

Strong Ground-types such as Nidoking, Mega Steelix, and Mamoswine can remove Poison-types such as Nihilego and Alolan Muk that Shaymin is unable to beat on its own.
Nihilego loses 1v1 vs a +1 Shaymin, and I don't think it's necessary to have grounds listed as good teammates just because of Muk, so I'd consider removing this.

Mention wallbreakers like Terrakion and Kommo-o which can wear down the opposing team for Shaymin, while also being able to provide Stealth Rock support if needed (mostly on Kommo-o's side). You can also mention Spikes setters like Klefki and Froslass since Spikes are also a pretty good way to put some pressure on the opposing team.

checks and counters

**Fire-types**: Fire-types need to be careful of the rare Earth Power, but they overall are an effective stop to Shaymin. Rotom-H and Moltres completely ignore Shaymin while Chandelure
Both Rotom-H and Moltres are unaffected by Earth Power, and all the other Fire-types already take enough damage from +1 Seed Flare, so I'd remove that part. You didn't finish the last sentence but it's ok because I don't want you to mention Chandelure!

**Poison-types**: Poison-types like Alolan Muk and Nihilego cannot be harmed that much by Shaymin and only fear the rare Earth Power. They then threaten Shaymin back with their STAB attacks.
honestly I think you'd be better off putting Muk in Special Walls instead of Snorlax, because most Poison-types are not that much of a threat to warrant a whole section of their own. Nihilego is 2HKOd unless it's Scarf, which is viable, but very niche and not super common.

What you can do instead is make a Flying-type section and mention stuff like Togekiss and Moltres, which can actually tank any hit even at +1 if healthy enough.

Tyvm goat Surgeon I also merged the Celebi point in the overview with a new point of how Shaymin cannot circumvent Special Walls which is something that Celebi can do considering it has boosted enough beforehand.

Shaymin also finds easy opportunities to set up on common Pokemon such as Krookodile and Defensive Primarina which further defines its niche as the premiere user of Z-Celebrate in the tier. (it's the only user because meloetta is unviable. don't reference unviable pokemon. also reference its bulk / typing directly with the point about setting up) because they're part of the reason shaymin is viable and melo / other celebrate mons aren't)
  • Shaymin also has access to the devastating Seed Flare which can make common counterplay such as Mega Aggron and Rotom-H possibly lose if they immediately switch-in and have their Special Defense dropped.
  • Shaymin’s biggest flaw is it having only one opportunity to set-up which makes it confined to the late-game as a cleaner. It needs to ensure that it doesn’t set up prematurely to where its checks can still reliably wall and remove it.
  • talk about downsides of its grass typing too linking to that and talk about some of its key checks too

  • Shaymin cannot circumvent Special Walls such as Blissey and Alolan Muk unlike other offensive Grass-types like Celebi and Decidueye. (celebi and decid still struggle with muk because celebi runs z psychic instead of z ground when muk was a big thing and decid is weak to dark. decid is also a physical attacker so it naturally matches up well against special walls anyway) Because of this, Shaymin finds major competition against Celebi, who can reliably set up Nasty Plot far more throughout the match and can bust through common counterplay with Z-Moves.

  • Hidden Power Fire is Shaymin’s way of removing Scizor while hitting other Steel-types such as Mega Aggron, Doublade, and Bronzong.
Set Details
========

  • Natural Cure can be decently useful to Shaymin as it allows it to shrug off status from Alomomola and Klefki. (only when it switches out, and shaymin is played best when it's saved until late game and only comes in to set up. you can mention how it can pivot into status from pokemon for its teammates more specifically)
  • normalium z + explaining the boost and how it helps shaymin is relevant
Usage Tips
========

  • Shaymin can only execute Z-Celebrate once, so it is imperative for its checks to be chipped or removed to let it sweep effectively. Mega Aggron and Moltres is common counterplay that should be removed beforehand. (talk about how shaymin should only be brought in late game when checks are chipped. this point rn just lists its counterplay and states teh obvious (it can only zmove once) so you can combine with the last point to be more informative)
  • Shaymin can set-up on Pokemon such as Krookodile and Slowbro as they fail to do any significant damage to Shaymin. (expand this to talk about avoiding setting up on things that shaymin can beat but still takes a lot of damage from)
  • Try to keep Shaymin as healthy as possible for this moment by not sending it out until the end-game. (by editing the first point to suggest this, this is repetition and can go)
  • talk about using seed falre on most neutral targets for the secondary effect if the mon can't 2hko you + how seed flare can help chip switchins in range of super effective coverage too
Team Options
========

  • Shaymin fits best on specific Bulky Offense teams that offer constant support in order to give it an effective clean.
  • Shaymin easily abuses the support offered from Pursuit. Trappers like Scizor, Krookodile, and Mega Aerodactyl can scare out and remove Moltres or Special Walls such as Blissey and Bronzong. (rn with having scizor first on that list you're saying it forces out molt so reword one of the lines so it's maero first / molt last)
  • Moltres and Rotom-H are effective stops to bulky Steel-types such as Mega Aggron and Doublade so Shaymin doesn’t have to rely too much on Hidden Power Fire.
  • Terrakion and Kommo-o offensively pressure teams while set-up hazards and can break through some of the aforementioned Steel-types. (talk more about them as breakers and what checks to shaymin they can break too)
  • make rocks a more significant point to emphasise how its useful to chip checks like rotom-h and grass resists in general
  • Klefki is a potent Spikes setter for Shaymin as it stacks entry hazards to constantly chip the opposition; softening up teams for Shaymin to break much easier. (these pressure bulky steels the most specifically)
  • Pivoting can also be used to get Shaymin in safely before attempting a sweep. Scizor is a great pivot as it can lure in bulky Ground-types like Hippowdon and Gligar for Shaymin to take advantage of while also filling out as a Pursuit trapper.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Earth Power lets Shaymin handle bulky Steel-types along with Poison-types like Nihilego and Alolan Muk much easier but this prevents Shaymin from beating Scizor and Hidden Power Fire is preferred due to it removing it while also handling the bulky Steel-types in question. (reword this point so its not "earth power handles steels but hp fire also handles them" because it doesn't make it clearer that earth power hits almost all of them harder)
Checks and Counters
===================

**Special Walls**: Special Walls such as Blissey and Aolan Muk tank anything that Shaymin can throw at them despite them risking possible Special Defense drops. They still wall indefinitely and can slowly but steadily beat out Shaymin.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Rotom-H and Moltres do not care about the rare Earth Power from Shaymin and are able to hard stop it effectively. (more of a grammar thing but rotom/molt are just examples of fire types so removing the examples to generalise has you saying "fire types don't care about earth power" which isn't true at all. instead, talk about other fire types that ep beats then give those two as a special mention)

**Steel-types**: Shaymin’s Hidden Power Fire lacks much firepower behind it which makes Mega Aggron and Bronzong respectable walls unless they’ve taken considerable damage beforehand.

**Flying-types**: Flying-types like Moltres and Togekiss cannot be seriously harmed by any of Shaymin’s moves if they are still healthy.

(Rotom-H really is not that great of a Shaymin check, as it's 2HKOed by +2 Seed Flare after rocks and does 69% max with Overheat after setup, and it's also really prone to being worn down from other things, so replace this with Moltres. Same thing with the mention later in the overview) Shaymin’s biggest flaw is it having only one opportunity to set up which makes it confined to the late-game as a cleaner. You could say something like "Shaymin also requires strenuous team support and needs) Shaymin cannot circumvent Special Walls such as Blissey and Snorlax (mention Amoonguss instead since Shaymin technically can break through Snorlax while Shaymin has no chance with Amoonguss due to Clear Smog + never being 2HKOed at full health) unlike other offensive Grass-types like Celebi and Decidueye. Mega Steelix and Gligar are defensive Pokemon that fall under this criteria. Avoid Toxic or Paralysis and paralysis while setting up, (AC) as they can either hinder or neutralize Shaymin completely and waste its one opportunity at sweeping. Seed Flare is useful in fishing for possible Special Defense drops on Pokemon that take it neutrally such as Nihilego and Mega Steelix in order to break through them much more smoothly. Seed Flare can also place Pokemon such as Latias and Amoonguss in range of Shaymin’s coverage moves respectively.

Moltres and Rotom-H are effective stops to bulky Steel-types such as Mega Aggron and Doublade, (AC) so Shaymin doesn’t won't have to rely too much on Hidden Power Fire. Terrakion and Kommo-o offensively pressure teams as powerful wallbreakers that can muscle through bulky Steel-types, take advantage of special walls like Blissey, and can possibly set up entry hazards. Furthermore, Klefki is a potent Spikes setter for Shaymin, (AC) as it can stacks entry hazards Spikes to constantly chip away at the opposition;, (AC) softening up bulky Steel-types for Shaymin to break much easier more easily (easier is an adjective; more easily is an adverb and therefore is correct). Pivoting can also be used to get Shaymin in safely before attempting a sweep. Scizor is a great pivot, (AC) as it can lure in bulky Ground-types like Hippowdon and Gligar for Shaymin to take advantage of while also filling out fulfilling the role as a Pursuit trapper.

Earth Power is stronger than Hidden Power Fire, which so it allows Shaymin to nail bulky Steel-types with more offensive force and it also hits Poison-types more reliably like Nihilego and Alolan Muk, but more reliably. (add period) However, Shaymin now fails to defeat bulkier Scizor sets, (AC) and Hidden Power Fire is sufficient enough to handling handle other Steel-types.

Checks and Counters

**Special Walls**: Special Walls walls such as Blissey, Amoonguss, and Alolan Muk tank anything that Shaymin can throw at them despite them risking possible Special Defense drops. They still wall Shaymin indefinitely and can slowly but steadily beat it out Shaymin.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Chandelure and Mega Houndoom threaten Shaymin drastically with their primary STAB (assuming that this is what you mean) attack, (AC) while Choice Scarf Infernape outspeeds it. Rotom-H and Moltres are also able to avoid immune to the rare Earth Power from Shaymin.

**Steel-types**: Shaymin’s Hidden Power Fire lacks much firepower behind it, (AC) which makes Mega Aggron and Bronzong respectable walls unless they’ve taken considerable damage beforehand.

**Flying-types**: Flying-types like Moltres and Togekiss cannot be seriously harmed by any of Shaymin’s moves if they are still healthy.

[OVERVIEW]

Shaymin distinguishes itself from other offensive Grass-types like Celebi and Mega Sceptile with its access to Z-Celebrate, which boosts all of its stats by one stage. Shaymin can be fairly difficult to reliably revenge kill with its The boosted bulk and Speed can make Shaymin fairly difficult to revenge kill due to its neutrality to Scizor's Bullet Punch and ability to outspeed Mega Aerodactyl and Choice Scarf Hydreigon with boosts. Shaymin also finds easy opportunities to set up on common Pokemon such as Krookodile and Slowbro due to its decent Speed and bulk. which further defines its niche as the only viable user of Z-Celebrate in the tier, (comma) Shaymin also has and access to the devastating Seed Flare which can make common counterplay such as Mega Aggron and Moltres possibly lose if they immediately switch in and have their Special Defense dropped. Shaymin’s biggest flaw that it has only one opportunity to set up, which makes it confined to late-game as a cleaner. It needs to ensure that it doesn’t set up prematurely to where its checks can still reliably wall and remove it. It's mono-Grass (AH) typing can also be a burden due to the lack of a secondary typing that could give it leverage against checks such as Mega Aggron and Moltres. Shaymin also requires strenuous team support and the rest of the team to work together to remove or chip away at its checks to let it sweep late-game. Shaymin cannot circumvent special walls such as Blissey and Amoonguss, (AC) unlike other offensive Grass-types like Celebi and Decidueye. Because of this, Shaymin finds major competition against Celebi, which can reliably set up Nasty Plot far more throughout the match and can bust through common counterplay with Z-Moves.

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

Shaymin should only be brought in late-game once its checks and counters have either been chipped down or removed. Because of this, Shaymin should stay as healthy as possible because of this and never should never be brought in on anything unless it is a last resort scenario. Shaymin can set up on Pokemon such as Krookodile and Slowbro, as they fail to do any significant damage to Shaymin it.
