Shaymin's Offical US Release Soon?

When you go to Pokemon.com after a few seconds, a outline of shaymin will appear, and then quickly disapear.

So i am guessing offical release late January/Early Febuary.

Then again, US players getting Shaymin would result in more Shaymins here. Like Darkrai. Event Darkrais were pretty rare here (although I managed to trade for one) when there were only Japanese ones, but the number surged when America got the event.

On the other hand, nobody hacked Wonder Cards back then, but it's common now. (which I seriously disagree with, if you ask me, those would be semi-legit at best) People would probably wait until the details are released and then make and use a code.

2. The picture could just be a coincidence.

3. For all you know it could come out in December of 2009.

Guessing. No one said it was 100% fact.
 
I doubt this will be as big of a deal as Darkrai was, as everyone who really wants a Shaymin has already either traded for or SRed their own. Besides the name, this will be no different than the Japanese one that's already in circulation (I have absolutely nothing against the hacking of Wonder Cards). I'm more interested in the Synchronizable Darkrai that they're releasing via the Member Card event, and possibly a Synchronizable Shaymin that might follow.
 
Finally! I hope other countries get it though, not just us in the US...
This also seems like a hint for the US release of platinum....
 
Judging by the fact the next Nintendo has announced the next movie to be coming out in February 2009, it will be announced before that date
 
Ok, maybe they didn't say Feburary. I'm just going off the fact that Darkrai's silhouette came out last year around this time. And the Darkrai movie came out in February, I'm assuming (hoping) that that is right..
 
On a note that's kinda related but doesn't really warrant its own thread, apparently Japan's getting Oak's Letter this Spring. Saw this info on Pokebeach, which linked to the official Japanese Pokemon site.
 
Saw it on the official site, I'm happy since I've always liked Shaymin before Sky form ever came out (and now people can't complain about someone one). Though this will likely mean it's a TRU and we get to SR for days on end...

At the least, hopefully they'll also release its item in Platinum in the far future as well. And the timing sounds about right, as the next TCG set also should come out around then (and for anyone who plays that, we know they love to delay cards like Shaymin till it gets the bullshit movie treatment and everything).
