Shiny Charm and Masuda Method

Well I am Masuda Methoding for Magikarp currently but I don't have a shiny charm so I suppose I can't participate...and I don't precisely number how many eggs I hatch...

I'll join in, I think. I pledge to hatch 30 to 60 eggs every day until I get every shiny I want. Or until I get supremely bored, whichever comes first.

To start it off, I hatched 150 fletchlings. No shiny yet.

Edit: Current results 07/05

276 Fletchlings hatched. 1 shiny (260th)
180 Froakies hatched. 2 shines (68th, 160th)

Total: 456 eggs hatched, 3 shinies. 1/152 shiny rate.

I'm retiring from hatching for now. If anyone wants to exchange friend codes, I'm looking for Friend Safaris with desirable Pokemon to be shiny.

Yup. Still going right now, so I'm at 3163 now. I thought it was bad when one of my Froakie's took around 1000 eggs. :/

Considering the odds are around 1/512 now, it's just depressing. Not going to quit until I get it though.

I remember going through over 2000 eggs when I was trying for an Eevee and ended up giving up for the time being(and I still haven't gotten back to it), but that was without the charm... I'm at 1085 currently for Poochyena, and I had decided that I wouldn't really complain unless I got to, say, 1500... But seeing your post has me thinking that, nope, can't complain until I outdo your count. u___u;;;

Hang in there! I wish I could help out somehow. :(

lol, suck it :P I'm just that good.

Hawlucha - 310 eggs
Larvesta - 111 eggs
Dratini - 19 eggs
Staryu - 153 eggs

Currently 400+ eggs into a Hoppip though. I'm so unlucky.

You updated mine wrong. That number I just posted was for Gligar alone. So far my total results should be:

Total Eggs = 5576
Total Shinies = 5 (Rate of 1 in 1115.2)

Sorry for the confusion, I'll make sure to add in my total eggs from now on!

I was in the friend safari hunting a breeding vivillon when I bumped into this beauty. I've been actively trying for MM shinies and haven't gotten one since I've started counting, yet I've gotten 2 wild shiny encounters in the past 10 days. What kind of RNG trickery is this??? lol, not that I'm complaining, because they're both very nice. :D

Also, expanding my pledge, as I'm obviously over 500 eggs now.

Wild Shinies: 1

Hahaha! I've gotten two shinies in the wild on X as well, but... None through breeding as yet.
 
I've gotten a couple of wild shinies too; Nosepass in FS, Whismur in a horde while EV training, and a Roselia when I was hatching eggs and accidentally drifted into the flowers.

I kept thinking that the shiny charm helped way too much but considering some of the luck other people are having I'm starting to appreciate it a whole bunch more.
