Shiny Charm and Masuda Method

Day three: first shiny.

Shiny big pecks fletchling hatched from the 260th egg, with a 31/31/31/31/31/x spread. That is pretty nice, since he is supposed to be my main flame body/fly slave. Numel is next, I think. I did not think that I would get a shiny so soon.

Results up to now:
276 fletchlings hatched. 1 shiny (260)

THREE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND THIRTY EIGHT EGGS.

Total Eggs: 5820
Total Shinies: 6
Rate: 1/970

It's female, has Immunity and an IV spread of 31/31/31/xx/31/31. I would have preferred a Male but I can live with that. :P
Congrats man!!! Really happy for you and sorry it took so long.

waka i have some questions?
what do you use for masuda method? to foreign pokemon to you. or just one?
and do you use a ditto or the same pokemon? (ex to feebas, one jpn and one spanish)

I'll join this sometime tomorrow when I get my 3ds back. I will try to hatch 3 boxes a day. I have already been hunting but I might as well help in this research while I am hunting this speed boost torchic.

Okay, I swear to god my game must be busted. I mean, I've hatched so many eggs that I've literally lost count so maybe after I get a Shiny Froakie, if at all, I'll come back and count them again. But just looking at the Mass Dumper TSVs, I still haven't gotten a single Shiny unless the Shiny Egg doesn't have to necessarily match the TSV. Anyone mind explaining that part?

When an egg is created, it has an ESV, an egg shiny value. The eggs whose ESVs match your TSV and only those that match will be shiny.

Update:

My last batch was surprising, I got a shiny axew after 149 eggs, and another one at 160.
And both of them have a shitty attack IV, obviously. :)

I'll try to hatch another one, one I could use in battles.

Finally another shiny. Hatched Shiny Gible at egg # 2755 =). It was Jolly with 5 IV, but the missing IV is speed =(.

Total:
3000 eggs
4 Shinies

Spend hours MM breeding. 0 Shinies.

Spend 5 minutes in your normal chansey friend safari for fast leveling, and catch ANOTHER wild shiny. Yep. That sounds about right.

2 wild shinies in 3 days. 3 wild shinies in 13 days. Yuppers. That's how the RNG rolls.

How did you get those Pokemon in those balls?!

By getting Females from HGSS, none of these mons will have their HA's available to them.

EDIT: As below... Yeah... Yamask cannot be in that ball. I didn't even think about that when I was posting lol. At the people posting in this thread: This user (Pokekid88) seems to be using hacks so their results may not be realiable. Also please be aware that if you (Pokekid88) give out these Pokemon you have a chance of being banned from Smogon or put onto the Wifi Blacklist as a known hacker.

Cherubi is also illegal from this set, as are the Skorupi, Sudowoodo and Togepi (I think a few of the others are dubious too).

Considering it's a Yamask, and the fact that you can't get wild charmander or eevee in HGSS it's pretty safe to presume that the parents were hacked, or at the very least modified using powersaves :p

Edit: Oh, and about 80% of those other Pokemon...

the parents are all pokegenned....LOL

pretty sure it won't affect the results anyway....since bank did let it pass...

Edit: Wooper is HA Unaware in love ball btw....LOL
And pretty sure there's alot users here who used genned parents for breeding. And I'm not giving out these pokes...not here at the very least.
