This thread is dedicated to blowing off a little steam and demonstrating just how many idiots out there play pokemon and PHAIL.

Sure, we can't post war stories where we win, but if we have a funny story, instead of cluttering the boards with random topics, we can post the logs here and all have a good laugh. Here's my first one:

Odinwolf sent out Abomasnow (lvl 100 Abomasnow ♂).
freeski sent out Tyranitar (lvl 100 Tyranitar ♂).
Tyranitar's Sand Stream whipped up a sandstorm!
A sandstorm brewed!
Abomasnow's Snow Warning whipped up a hailstorm!
The sandstorm stopped.
Hail began to fall!
Odinwolf switched in Milotic (lvl 100 Milotic ♀).
Tyranitar used Dragon Dance.
Tyranitar's attack was raised.
Tyranitar's speed was raised.
The hail continues to fall.
Tyranitar is pelted by hail!
Tyranitar lost 6% of its health.
Milotic is pelted by hail!
Milotic lost 6% of its health.
Tyranitar's leftovers restored its health a little!
Tyranitar restored 6% of its health.
Milotic's leftovers restored its health a little!
Milotic restored 6% of its health.

Tyranitar used Taunt.
Milotic fell for the taunt!
Milotic used Surf.
It's super effective!
Tyranitar lost 75% of its health.
The hail continues to fall.

Something like this:

-Opponent sets up BP chain

-My Azelf happens to critical his Mr. Mime on the way with a Shadow Ball early in the game.

-He proceeds to say something along the lines of "But of course, luck goes to my opponent. Bad game." and d/cs in a hissy fit.


Oh yeah, then there was the guy who lead with Darkrai and Gardevoir in a double battle...I don't think I have to elaborate on that.

I remember facing someone that used Surf on a Sneasel, someone with Physical Jolteon, and a Salamence that spammed Fly XD
 
I went on PBR wi-fi and got pitted against someone using a rental pass. For those people who don't know, it was stuff like Charmeleon and Rhyhorn with pretty bad movesets.

A little off-topic, in an advance tournament with no resrictions on level (meaning Lv100's everywhere) I had to battle a kid with freshly caught Groudon/Kyogre from Emerald, and a GROVYLE.

So my swampert is low on health as the opponent switches in his umbreon...

(Oh, btw, this is on WiFi using my uv EV trained/IV breed ingame team against someone who actually did so to their's)

Knowing it had Dark Pulse, which would KO my swampert with its health being red, I used Protect to recover some health with leftovers.

Opponent: "WTF, protect is cheap and gay as hell, noob!"

Next turn:

Umbreon used Double team!

...yeah...
 
Facing idiots on PBR is so frustrating.

I was against a noob who didn't know what a uber was, or any of the clauses. Of course I got owned the first time >,<. Then I challenged him to a rematch with a freshly prepared team.

I send out Bibarel (lol) against his mewtwo. He tried double teaming 3 times before he fell to super fang/surf. Then he says i hack and leaves.
 
On Shoddy i kOed a kangaskan with specsmie after it sucker punched me leaving me at 3%. I had switched it out hoping to get more use out of late in the game. Then he called me a noob and i should of let it just die and left.
 
I faced someone on PBR with Hidden Power on their Mew. Yeah its not like Mew has a huge movepool or anything requiring you to use Hidden Power. Also once on Netbattle, after sweeping with a Regice my foe calls Regice uber and all this other crap saying it should be banned. His last Pokemon was a Lugia >_>.
 
Heh, I remember back when I was testing out Shelgon's viability with its type, some moron called me a noob. I tried explaining to him why I was using it, and I also explained that I'm actually quite an experienced player...then the dumbass says "Keep believing it, it might come true some day."

Yupp, so I defeated the guy with something like 4-0. I was not impressed, to say the least... -.-
 
There was this time on Shoddy where somebody called my Salamence cheap after it swept his OU-ish team with Dragon Pulse and then wouldn't stop whining. Learn to carry Blissey, idiot.

I get matched up with some tard on Shoddy.
I start with Tyranitar.
opponent: "There better not be any Ubers on this team."
me: "There aren't."
opponent: "Tyranitar is a legendary and an Uber, you broke the rules."
me: "It's not an Uber."
*opponent leaves*
 
I fought against a guy who somehow puulled of 3 swords dances with a scizor and he airslashed me xD

he then used a SD Quickattack ambipom (if only...) and a hypnosis umbreon in a battle against him before he claimed to have gotten of the GTS, but later admitted to hacking them.

I believe he's still a user here actually...

EDIT: yes he is still here. he's xD-twist. notice his sig? xD

On Shoddy, people seem to like to disconnect after losing one Pokemon. I had my Quick Attack Staraptor take out a Ninjask, for example, and my opponent left right after that.

Also, someone trying to convince me that Extreme Speed has max priority and should always go before Quick Attack was pretty funny. I believe they said, "Ask anyone on the forum." Then I did, just because, and no one else was mistaken.
 
Um...why are so many of these threads made? I could have sworn on my cat's whiskers that there was a thread entitled "Rant about your battle experiences here" made not more than a week ago.

But I haven't been battling much at all lately. My last one was more than a month ago. So I really have nothing to say.
 
I remember a guy who seemed to think I was hacking and disconnected.

It was on Shoddy.
 
I was playing a guy who was obviously new to Shoddy, but he didn't seem neccesarily new to battling, i.e he wasn't a complete idiot.

I took out three of his Pokemon with Rock Polish Golem and he says "WTF this simulator is shit, Golem isn't that good." Then he proceeded to question the integrity of all of my squad and asking if I had any mods in place to make them stronger.

He was quite polite about it after the initial outburst, but geesh, some people need to realise there's life beyond Garchomp and Gengar.
