showdown not working

when i go on showdown a pop up comes up i close them but then the simu will not load

Ok, recently I have been trying to play Showdown with a friend. But every time I try to log in it wont let me. And where the chat/lobby usually doesn't show up instead it just says loading... This has been going on for a few days.m
