lost vs KotW, I threw a tournament playing badly against KotW, considering that in both his match-up battle was over.
congrats Kotw, and sorry me for the orrible finals. i wasn't focused enough
 
Also, to everyone who participated in this tournament, I would like to hear how you used your Sideboard. I primarily want to hear how KotW, Scimjara, and Hellpowna used them. Please reply itt!

My team went through a lot of changes throughout the tournament, but the last changes happened in the semis. Here's the main team:

Alakazam was used whenever my opponent's team had some sort of threatening sweeper such as DD Dragonite, since Focus Sash Alakazam is easily the best revenge killer in the game.

One problem I noticed when playing with this team was that Terrakion was quite the pain to deal with. This is where Gliscor comes in to save the day and wall the fuck out of physical attackers.

DD Dragonite because Dragonite is really hard to respond to when you have to guess what kind of set it's running. And what better way for your opponent to guess the wrong set than to run a completely different Dragonite set on your main team!

I just used Breloom because I've never used it in BW OU before and I couldn't think of anything else for the sideboard. It did well in the one battle it was used in, so that's good enough for me.
 
KotW I'm really glad to hear that! When I thought about this tournament, what I thought would be the best use of the sideboard would be to use Pokemon you had in your main team but with different sets. It seemed to me that would make the best use of it, as it would really fuck with your opponent's head. I'm really glad to hear you thought of the same thing and used Dragonite like that!
