Silly Things You Have Seen On the Ubers Ladder!

I recently went up against a Arceus-Normal with the following moveset:

-Shadow Force
-X-Scissor
-Stone Edge
-Recover

The icing on the cake was that it was holding an Eject Button.
I really don't know what that user was trying to hit -_-

I have a feeling the Blissey was Serene Grace and the user thought it would be funny to try to flinch hax people to death.

Dialga used Dragon Pulse!
It's super effective! The foe's Dragonite lost 100% of its health!

Well I guess his Dragonite isn't getting flinched anytime soon.

The foe's Groudon used Fire Blast!
Dialga lost 50.2% of its health!
Dialga was burned!

The foe's Jirachi used Psychic!
Ho-Oh lost 19.5% of its health!
Ho-Oh's Special Defense fell!

Reported for hax. And later,

The foe's Kyogre used Blizzard!
Arceus-Ghost lost 35.4% of its health!

The foe's Kyogre used Ice Beam!
Arceus-Ghost lost 26.4% of its health!

Ah, the classic example of power vs. accuracy.

Another one:

The foe's Ditto transformed into Groudon!

Groudon, come back!

Go! Ho-Oh!

The foe's Ditto used Earthquake!
It doesn't affect Ho-Oh...

The foe's Ditto used Stone Edge!
It's super effective! Ho-Oh lost 100% of its health!

Darn, he got me. Well, it did prevent the 6-0.

Just saw a LO Genesect with Gunk Shot, Shadow Claw, X-Scissor, and Techno Blast.

And I'm in the 2000's...

That set isn't too awful. Gunk Shot actually gets great neutral coverage in Ubers believe it or not, so along with Ghost and Bug you can actually hit a lot of things quite hard. Techno Blast is quite obviously stupid (use Blaze Kick/Iron Head!), but I've had moderate success with a similar set.

It can actually 2HKO/OHKO a lot of cool stuff if it gets the attack boost and you predict correctly (obviously it OHKOs the Latis and Mewtwo and Darkrai too):

+1 252 Atk Life Orb Genesect Shadow Claw vs. 212 HP / 72 Def Giratina-O: 263-309 (53.23 - 62.55%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
+1 252 Atk Life Orb Genesect Gunk Shot vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Ho-Oh: 264-311 (63.61 - 74.93%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 252 Atk Life Orb Genesect X-Scissor vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Kyogre: 265-312 (77.48 - 91.22%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock and Spikes
+1 252 Atk Life Orb Genesect Blaze Kick vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Ferrothorn in rain: 265-317 (75.28 - 90.05%) -- 56.25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Spikes
+1 252 Atk Life Orb Genesect Blaze Kick vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Forretress in rain: 192-229 (54.23 - 64.68%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

That set was actually pretty effective (He KOed my Ho-Oh and dented my Ghostceus) because of it's sheer unpredictability. I just found it comical.

Just saw an Iron Tail Giratina, a Special Groudon with Solarbeam/Dragon Pulse/Eruption/Hyper Beam, Absorb Bulb Palkia with Blizzard, and Poison Point Nidoking... All on the same team...

http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ubers-43795007

This battle...holy shit this battle.

Featuring:
The Mighty Endeavor/Ice Burn Kyurem-W (helped to take out my Chansey)
The Terrifying Focus Punch Darkrai (Took out my Chansey)
The Mystic Ice Beam Arceus-Normal (was useless...until the end when Ekiller woulda achieved the same result)
The Scary Mewtwo with Ice Beam and an item that wasn't LO or Lefties or Specs
The Magical Earthquake Dialga (took out my Heatran)
The Incredible Shadow Ball/Destiny Bond Giratina (Took out my own Giratina)

And I lost badly...

Superstar, that Darkria was a bulky variant, btw. It's likely it had 252 HP evs. (the damage calcs match at least) The Arcues normal may have been a legit wallceus set (can't be assed to calc it) but it's highly unlikely judging by the rest of the team.

Okay, I was watching a friend battle and this happened:
The foe's Latias used Fly!
The foe's Latias flew up high!

Ferrothorn used Gyro Ball!
The foe's Latias avoided the attack!
Turn 13
The foe's Latias used Fly!
A critical hit! Ferrothorn lost 26.5% of its health!
The foe's Latias is hurt by Ferrothorn's Iron Barbs!

Here's a nice one.

Flying Gem Arceus-Normal with...

...wait for it...

Aerial Ace

I even asked the user what he was tying to hit with it. He responded with. "I honestly don't know".
So not only was this person running an odd set, he knew he was running an odd set.

The Ubers ladder is never disappointing -_-

I don't know how silly this might seem, but I just had an Ubers game where my opponent led with a Mew and used Zap Cannon on turn one, which proceeded to miss. He forfeited after the turn ended.
