[SET COMMENTS]
Silvally-Dark is a premier physical attacker in RU thanks to its invaluable Psychic immunity, fantastic coverage, raw power, and good overall stats. Silvally-Dark's decent natural bulk and typing give it ample setup opportunity, taking advantage of popular Pokemon like Choice-locked Indeedee-M, Passimian Choice locked into Knock Off, and Silvally-Ghost. Silvally-Dark's Multi-Attack is resisted by few Pokemon, and Psychic Fangs exploits Fighting-types like Passimian, Virizion, and Toxicroak. Flame Charge can turn Silvally-Dark into an efficient sweeper, outpacing the aforementioned Fighting-types, Alolan Raichu, Salazzle, and Choice Scarf Rillaboom Rillaboom after one Speed boost. U-turn can be used instead to pivot out against Pokemon such as Bewear, Scrafty, and physical walls like Steelix and Mudsdale, gaining momentum for the player's team. Silvally-Dark should aim to get off as many Multi-Attacks as possible to whittle the opposing team down to the point where after a Flame Charge or Swords Dance, Silvally-Dark will be able to sweep. Psychic Fangs can also be used aggressively to catch out predicted incoming Fighting-types.
While Silvally-Dark can dent Fighting-types with Psychic Fangs, without setup it's still vulnerable to these Pokemon; Vileplume and Jellicent are the tier's leading Fighting-type checks, so pairing these with Silvally-Dark is strongly advised. Fairy-types like Aromatisse, Silvally-Fairy, and Whimsicott are troublesome, and Aromatisse in particular utterly walls Silvally-Dark; so, Fire-, Steel-, and Poison-types such as Salazzle, Charizard, Steelix, Copperajah, and Vileplume are excellent teammates. Bewear and Scrafty also wall Silvally-Dark well, so using a Fighting-type of your own is highly recommended; in return, Silvally-Dark can eliminate Ghost-types for Fighting-types to clean teams. While Scrafty can deal with Psychic-types, Indeedee-M can surprise KO Scrafty with Dazzling Gleam, giving way for Silvally-Dark to be more successful in battle.
