yep, at the bottom of the list it says "what pokemon" then you can type in any pokemon. even daince and volcanion if you wish.

No, I traded a Yveltal to a person on GTS who was offering what was supposed to be a 5IV Iron Fists Chimchar and it was Blaze and 1IV. So pissed.

That's why you don't do the obvious Legendary trades. I never do, lol.
I think it's bullshit that they don't let you see the Pokemon's status screen on the GTS or in trades for that matter before you do a trade. It's really bizarre that isn't a thing and would help with the scamming. :/ Then again the GTS is a shitstorm and a reminder as to what demographic this franchise was intended for...
Is there a way to find out exact IV's in a non-perfect stat?
I just got a shiny Electrike (on the first day of trying, woo!), and it has HP Grass with non-perfect Special attack... Which I'm fine with if it's 30, but I have no way to tell.

Go to the Battle Institute, it autolevels you to 50 and you can get a better approximation of IVs. Barring that, Rare Candy + Metalkid's calculator.
I agree. I traded a left over legendary for what was supposed to be a 5IV Foreign Protean Froakie awhile ago and it was 2IV's, Protean heh. I'm not much of a trader anyway, I just breed up a barnyard worth. Oh well.
Edit: Still that 'demographic' still doesn't excuse little lying brats or older lying thieves :(
