Does a certain poke ball do anything to the pokemon stats?

Friend Ball sets base friendship to 200 and Luxury Ball increases happiness gained. After catching a Pokemon, all other balls are just aesthetic.

Is there any reason to use Aromatherapy over Heal Bell? I'm wondering because I've been breeding chanseys' with seismic toss and Heal Bell but everyone else seems to use aromatherapy and the analysis suggest aromatherapy but I thought that they were identical.

Aromatherapy is an egg move, and heal bell is transfer. Being KB allows it to particiipate in tournaments ^^

Heal Bell is also an egg move though, I've bred it myself in Pokemon X

Prior to Gen 5, Heal Bell was blocked by Soundproof, but now there isn't any difference, so it just comes down to which one you want to breed onto it.

It's doubtful that people will make that trade, Shiny Skrelps are easily obtained through chain fishing. Unless you mention that it is competitively bred, in which case it is probably worth more. :]
EDIT- easily obtained being used as a relative term here, seeing as I can't chain fish to save my life. I simply mean that Skrelp and other such fishies are rather common in their shiny forms nowadays :]

I have no idea, they should have just made it be 100 bp like Earthquake, and had it just be a cool alternative option to Earthquake specifically for Zygarde, imo.

did some research and apparently it doesnt hit your teamate on doubles only the opposing pokemon

do you need an opponent to use defog? Like if i switch and my pokemon dies to hazards and the opponent uses defog, does it work (removing hazards similar to RS)? Or it would still work?

Incorrect, females were catchable in special balls in Collosseum.
