What in the hell are you talking about?

I assume he's trying to refute your "Switch Rhyperior out against a Water/Grass Sp.Attacker" point by saying that the enemy could do the same thing should Rhyperior switch in on their Talonflame, while still dealing some sort of damage in U-Turn.

Which you can then use to hit the incoming switch in with a 100 BP move off 140 Atk.

Would not having a 0 Speed IVs for every Pokemon in my Trick Room team be too much of a problem? As it stands, every Poke has 50 or less in their speed stat, and all of their natures are -speed, but I've been breeding Karrablasts for literally days and the closest I've gotten is 2 or 3 Karrablasts with 31/31/31/31/31/x.
You run the risk of being "outsped" by opposing Ferrothorn or possibly Dusclops, but that's all you'll really have to worry about. Escavalier is blessed with Base 20 Speed, which is pretty much the best possible under Trick Room. So no, it's not tragic. But why not just go for a 31/31/31/xx/31/0 Karrablast? Escavalier's Base 60 SpA and limited movepool will make that 31 SpA IV useless.

I tried that, I've been breeding different mothers and fathers with different IV pools, but I either get 31/31/31/31/31/x or something like x/31/x/x/31/0, even though I've tried completely flawless Karrablasts and one that actually had the right IV spread (but the wrong nature and ability). I don't have good enough 0iv parents, and I don't have much to offer for good 0 speed IV Ditto parents apart from a Mewtwonite X and spitbacks.

Also, I should mention that Escavalier completely stops Ferrothorn in its tracks (almost immune to Gyro Ball and gets a STAB X-Scissor, as well as getting x1 from Knock Off and Drill Run), which is why I appreciate having him on my team. I know it's pretty much luck that somebody uses a poke that could outspeed any of mine, especially considering the strategy is usually to get as high speed as possible anyways for most pokemon.

So, the call is going out for any good-IV'd 0 Speed breeding fathers, preferably in the bug and water Egg groups. Ditto would also be great.

What are the parents that you're using? As long as you keep switching them out for a better one once you get it, then you should end up with a perfect 5 IV in a decent amount of time (the benefits of Destiny Knot breeding). Everyone seems to think you need a 6 IV Ditto to breed, which is definitely not the case.

I can give you this for free to use as a parent if you want.

The 31/31/31/x/31/0 parent with the wrong nature, as I mentioned, and a 31/31/31/31/31/x parent.

Are you sure about that? I don't know, I already have a father with the same spread, and I don't think it'd be really cool of me to take a Shiny for free anyways (I'd probably give it back after getting the right baby).

Okay some things I must say:
1. I would NEVER be dumb enough to leave a Rhyperior in where it can be hit by a Special Move of the Grass or Water type EVEN with an Assualt Vest.
2. I would lead with Rhyperior and Prankster Mewostic if I saw a Talonflame in doubles, then use Mean Look which I BELIEVE stops U-Turn from working.
3. I would like this becuase most people tend to lead with Gale Wings Talon Flame.
I'm sorry I'm doing the list thing again, but I'm giving each of my reaspones and reasons for my though process here so that is easy to understand.

BTW I did mean to ask this: Does Mean Look stop Volt Switch and U-turn? If not then I need a different Idea. i just saw two seconds to late that the discussion had ended. Sorry. But I still want to know about U-turn though please.

They can still switch out with U-Turn after Mean Look.

Nah you can have it for free, if you can wait for sometime, since I need to shift it :)

I would prefer having a female with the correct spread so I could just breed one of my males with a near-good IV set, but if you're certain, I'll try and give you something good in return.

Ok,let's calm down what is your team? Why are you so afraid of tflame?
I'm not afraid of it. I just want to Knock it out before it sweeps half my team. And I want a Reliable Counter for it as it is VERY OU in the VGC format. And it's hard to do that in Doubles. Singles I can easily counter 5 or 6 different ways. (Swap into my Rocky Helmet Ferrothorn and let him "take one for the team" and drag Talonflame down with it for example.) It's harder in doubles. My old answer would be: Assualt Vest Swampert and counter with Stone Edge/Waterfall (that plan never fails for some reason. Half the people I sicked Swampy on when Talonflame didn't switch out, they figured they could Brave Bird a Bulky Physical wall with Special Defe Support like Swampert), but I can't use Swampert in that format, so...I need something else that is consitent.

While I don't know much about doubles since I prefer singles battling, Jolteon might be viable. Otherwise your best bet is sticking an unexpected water or electric move on one of your bulkier Defensive walls.

Shame almost all VGC comps are in Double Format, Even the Nationals and International Championships are Doubles.
That.....sounds like EXACTLY like something I would have done before I started truly being competive. I mean I ran Grass Knot on a Pikachu for god's sake. And OHKOed A LOT of Pokemon with it. Hmmm......maybe....a Physical Wall with a good Special Attack stat and have use HP Electric or Water....or hmmm....I will dfinetly think on this. Also random question as I am about to go after my Female Ryhron/Rhydon: Best Ball for Ryhperior please. I was thinking Nest But that seems wrong now for some reason.

Luxury. Also, so many of the questions about competitive battling you've been asking can be answered on those forums, this isn't really the place for long winded debates.
