Hello fellow breeders.
I am working on a tool that should help giving everyone that wants to breed Pokemon with egg moves and having a problem second guessing or whom just want to find the information with as little as possible research.

You say tool but link us to a spreadsheet? Anyway, I see what you're getting at. Could you be aiming for something similar to thiagodd 's XY TSDA Pokedex? It isn't aimed at providing immediate competitive information, but is a nice [offline] database [that I adore - the egg chain finder is amazing!]. It's a program that provides some very nice and detailed info.

Is that what you mean by tool? If so, then the Technical Projects sub-forum is the place for that. If it's simply the spreadsheet, then I can't answer that - I'd say just link it in your signature. Better yet, PM a mod about it or ask other, more knowledgeable members.

As a final note, I am NOT trying to put you or your work down by linking another member's work. Besides the blatant promotion (seriously, it's a good program - though I particularly dislike v3; v2 was much better, IMO), I am trying to get a better understanding of what you meant. There's a big difference between tool and spreadsheet. I provided an example of a tool. I hope you understand :D

A spreadsheet can still function as a tool by means of being a resource, but yeah, they meant a spreadsheet and in terms of the TP sub-forum it wouldn't be posted there unless it was in conjunction with a program.

However, speaking from experience thiagodd's program/database is functional I've tested it a few times when it was new. Nice to see it was updated a little bit.

Can anyone link me to Gamefaqs TSV list? I can't remember who linked it to me last time and they seem really quick over there. But if anyone matches 2888, 2055, 3125, 2004 or 2609 let me know.

Tool as in something you use I guess, used that word to underline that it is meant to help you in breeding more then just keeping track of what you already have bred as so many other spreadsheets.
You can call it a template instead if you want, English isn't my native tongue :P

It doesn't work that way, I'm afraid.

To check your gen 3-5 SID (in gen 6, that is) you need to have access to PowerSaves and PKHeX

(Or you can ask .com, as 90% of Smogon WiFi seems to be doing)

Yeah, that's not true and don't link to pp.org. Ever.

You can use PKHeX through KeyBV as well without the use of Powersaves, you just need to know how to do it.

That's okay. It's easier to set up via Powersaves without much know-how anyway, so you're not completely incorrect.

Ausgirl .com is gone for a week or so, so you can ask elsewhere if need be.
