Just to clarify what Buckert said:
If you have the Shiny Charm, then the TSV will be fixed to one value with non Masuda Method parents, and another value with Masuda Method parents.
If you do not have the Shiny Charm, then the TSV will only be fixed if you're using Masuda Method parents (and to a third value to those above).
If you do not have the shiny charm, and do not use Masuda Method parents, then the TSV will re-roll each time you collect the egg.

Hi .com, I'm having issues breeding a Miltank right now. Are you able to confirm what I was told by flargandingle who said that it uses the ungendered spread? I have had more success using the Porygon than Togetic but it's surprising.
Not to shamelessly self-plug, but again, this is covered in the guide.
Basically, if the Pokémon being hatched can only have one gender, referred to as mono-gendered, then using the Porygon would be the approach to take. This includes always male, always female, and genderless Pokémon (however Illumise/Volbeat and Nidoran F/M are not included).
Since Miltank can only have one gender, it falls into this category.

Just to compliment the answer it is set UNTIL you collect the egg, then a new spread is generated which is also fixed until you get collect/reject the next egg.

Hi people I'm new here and I had a question, I'm going to bed going to soft reset for mewtwo, and I was wondering what nature is the best to go for, as I have access to both mega stones. And I will be using the master all for it because it's perfect IMO!
