I would toss, +Spe HP Ice generally want the o/e/e/o/o/o or e/x/e/o/o/o spread so they don't lose a point in speed, and those defenses aren't anything to write home about.
Anyone have a male Bidoof with egg moves that they could spare for me?

So... I kind of screwed up identifying my spread for an HP Fire/Ground Eevee and ended up with a Modest 30/x/30/31/31/30 (HP Electric) HA eevee. Is this viable somehow? Obviously the first thing that came to mind was a Vaporeon but it tends to prefer a Bold/Calm nature. I can simply reset and rebreed for Bold since I have the Ditto for it but I just want to hear second opinions since I'm leaning towards keeping it and going back aiming for a Sylveon.
Not really, since 31/odd/31/30/31/31 is also HP Electric, and kind of better overall than that spread
Yes, absolutely. While it may not be popular it is indeed viable. Vaporeon usually runs HP grass for other water types or water/ground types but electric is still an option for water types specifically Gyarados. The only stat you're missing out on is speed so be aware that you're one point beneath where you should be but the difference in the other stats won't matter at all. Keep that eevee, it's perfectly usable. Unless this is a time travel spread and you have the ability to swap parents?

So I decided to actually try SRing Metang in the Safari to see what it's like. Apart from them never showing up, it's actually kinda fun. I've set my standards pretty low because of the whole '2 guaranteed' IVs thing, and they're also a pain to catch... I just got this one that I would have been really happy with if I was using a jolly sync like I had originally planned (using naive instead because Grass Knot is a thing)...

If you're going for Naive, I think you should aim for perfect or near-perfect offenses and Speed at least. But I definitely think a good pentagon Metagross in an interesting Ball would be seriously cool, even if only as a trophy.

Yeah I think I might change my Synchronizer to Jolly. Yeah I know that you can RNG them, but dat pentagon tho...
Might as well just breed one if you need a Pentagon. I get the matching Pokeball, but if you want good IVs, catching them isn't really the way to go.
Yeah but the novelty of pentagon + non-standard ball is enough to keep me entertained until I can be bothered going back to SR Terrakion...
