Odd request, but I'm looking for someone to hatch an egg of mine at Southern Island.

Let me know what you'd like in return (I'm not sure what to offer for an odd request like this)

Can anyone tell me if the following will hold true for breeding in XY?
My goal is to breed a Male Adamant Braviary 31/31/31/x/31/31 with Hidden Ability Defiant.
1. acquire male defiant rufflet/braviary
2. breed with Ditto 31/31/31/x/31/31 until IV's acquired (preferably an Adamant natured one with Everstone)
3. get Adamant Braviary w/ Defiant with flawless IV.

Males can now pass down Hidden Abilities with Dittos, correct? If so, will the above situation be possible?

It is a low probability to pass the hidden ability, but yes it is possible.

Males do pass HA when bred with a Ditto, I think the rate is 60%. It could be as low as 20%

I can do this for free, I have the Eon Ticket on both my OR and AS. It's midnight for me right now though, so tomorrow would probably work better. Just VM/PM me or whatever.

Someone who lives in the same time zone as me! If it helps, I can give Hatching Power Lv 3 (I'd like to have this hatched asap but I understand if you can't).
 
Other than stumbling upon by sheer luck, what are the possible ways to breed for shinies in XY & ORAS (barring illegitimate ways)?

EDIT: What about cloning?

Every game has a shiny value. So does every egg. Some people can work out this value so if you trade them an egg where the Shiny value of the egg matches their game, it hatches shiny.

TSV hatching is the best way to do it, and is how most people here with large collections of shinies do it. Here's a guide detailing it :)

As for cloning, Powersaves is the most reliable method (an Action Replay-esque device). There's also a method using two 3DSs, but it's spotty at best.
