I don't think updates have ever been able to do that. But for confirmation, I updated my game this morning, cloned something on my X after and it worked.

Will the cloning QR code work if I update my 3DS and have the code's site bookmarked as opposed to scanning the code every time?
Nope. The update keeps your 3DS' browser from communicating with the game.
Really i used it about 15 hours ago and it worked just fine all i couldn't do was connect to the internet on my 3DS.
It blocks the security hole that allowed it to work with the games in the first place. So, no, it won't work anymore.
It's like putting super glue on someones mouth or sewing their mouth shut.
Yeah sure, but if you plan on ever connecting to the internet again with your XYORAS and that 3DS, then you have to install the update for the 3DS' firmware and the game(s), which will keep you from abusing the QR code exploit and can't be reversed since you cannot delete the firmware update.
I'm looking for a Love Ball Cleffa/Clefable/Clefairy spitback and can offer spitbacks of these for it.

You can do Calm Piplup to annoy me lol (I still need to reset my HG for shiny purposes) or just do Eelektross, since I don't see them around much.

Aside from Defog Piplup as mentioned, are they many other Pokemon that would really want the move? I have a TON of shinies from Emerald that I can probably easily teach Defog and pass over to X, but I don't know if people like that? That pentagon is kinda important. =X

Alright. Guess I'll check my own list and see if anything on there can learn Defog lol and needs/wants egg moves.
I can do this; PM me to arrange once you've got the Pokémon transferred. Would prefer some random junk Pokémon so I don't have to come back online afterwards, but no big deal if you need it back.
So, I've been writing up a list of stuff that's gen 3-4 only (sorta) and also mass hatching Togepis. Suddenly realised that Dunsparce really wants Body Slam, but it's gen 3 only. Now, it doesn't really need egg moves from 3rd gen and it's catchable, so I was thinking, eh, why not?
But here's the problem. In what kind of ball should I catch (non)shiny 3rd gen Dunsparce? The perfect matches are not available (Quick, Love and Dream) so what's next? I'm guessing Luxury is always fine and maybe Dive or Net?

Looking for a cloner willing to clone a lot. Probably would be best if you knew how to use QR code method (if you're able to which might be unlikely with the new update).
