I don't see why "LOL". I guess there aren't so many 5-IV (or near 5-IV, lets say with one missing IV -- one stat to "30") legendaries. Infos on legendaries are pretty short, since there is only one ability, no egg move, etc. It's pretty much only the IVs and nature (and very often, only 2 natures are interesting).

I might try to start one then, I'll let you know if I do.

I found your question funny, so I "LOLed". Do you realise how many users have trade threads on smogon? Not to mention many people have more than one copy of each legendary, or become inactive after a while or maybe wouldn't want their pokemon ending up on some 'menu'.

If you want to make some sort of index by all means go for it. However, I think it would be good conduct to ask every user for their permission before adding their pokemon to this list. Also, when you've made it it'll be your responsibility to keep up with all the redis-rights or individual user rules, and keeping them up to date. It would also be important to make sure that the user's activity is also up to date so you don't make a list of say, all the dream ball lugias on Smogon, where all the users who have one arnt active members and don't trade anymore.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, what I'm saying is if there hasn't been one for the whole time trading flawless legendaries on Smogon has been a thing, there's probably a reason.

EDIT: It also took me no more that 5 minutes to look up "Multiscale Lugia" in the search bar on the top right of the website, and find at least 3 threads that offered one. I only have above-average intelligence, so If I can do it, I'm sure almost everyone else can

I like Premier for non-shiny and Heal for shiny. =)

Thank you guys.

First, I may not have made it clear, but the need for this is clearly competitive legendaries who can participate in official competitions. As you must know, non pentagon pokemon cannot participate in them (except for competitions who authorized events, until now). And I think the reason why nobody ever did that is because until 6th gen it was either RNG or nothing; with RNG you don't really need anyone else with little time. At the opposite, I spent countless hours SRing in 6th gen, and if I got one 5-IV legendary, I got only one. So there is an interest in exchanging now there wasn't before.

I don't know how many users have trade threads on smogon, but that's precisely the point. Besides, how many of them are actually readable, searchable, etc.?

About activity and pokemon presence, it would be to the people who want their pokes added to contact me (or whoever will be in charge in the future) to add them. Also, the sheet should refer the smogon user, and the latter should have a trade thread, where people willing to trade should ask. If the trade thread is inactive (or cannot be found), searchers can just try the next in the list (pokes from inactive users can be removed of course).
Actually, if you just type the user number after the url http://www.smogon.com/forums/members/ you will get redirected to the user's page, and should find his/her thread in the signature.

So the only real reason not to do it is keeping it up to date. That being said I'm always baffled when someone here asks for a special pokemon, and is answered something like "look in XX thread"; I mean if these person are so much up to date, it must mean that it's possible to maintain information up to date (we are talking here of only a very small fraction of all pokemon).

Last thing, if I am looking -- let's say -- for a modest Kyogre 5-IV pentagon, I am not sure that the search function could help me (I may be wrong but I am not really willing to try).

PS: it could look like this:

(I added Pokéguy Rayquaza for the example)

Okay, I don't know if this is the place to post this (can't think of anywhere else), but here we go. So, in earlier generations injecting wondercards for rng abuse has been allowed on Smogon. But what about injecting wondercards in gen 6 through Powersaves for SR'ing purposes? Is that allowed here on Wifi?

Ok I already have a perfect soft reset charizard but I'm looking for someone to soft reset another one for me if that would be fine.
So, I didn't completely get that. Did you want me to SR my Charizard code and give it to you or not? Also, if you gave a perfect one already, why do you need another one?

I like this idea but i deed how would you keep this up to date?

And you should note something else: let's say more then 40 people have just the same pokemon who all want it added to the list. How does that work if i may know?

Anyone have a naive syncro mon? I'm gonna SR for cobalion and see if he can work for me as a lead in the battle maison!
I got one

Like, fair enough (the thread should have pretty pictures though)

I'd be willing to build and maintain this, actually. I'm fairly active here, so could add things as they come. I think this is a great idea for those who are looking for a specific thing (you're right, the search function is often inadequate). I can design a pretty nice looking spreadsheet, here's the one I maintain at /r/PokemonTrades for example: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet..._t7uKz9Xuh1hWjGXrjuduyUy0/edit#gid=1922694563

Seeing as many older users here are primarily interested in collecting SR legends (myself included), I think this could be a great thing for both the battling and trading communities.

For keeping it up-to-date, as I said, it would require people to contact people in charge when they want their poke added. We can imagine that 2-3 people can modify the sheet, and have a link to it in their signature.

As for 40 people having the same pokemon, we can first enforce the rule to only include 5-IV, and if there are still 40 modest Kyogre, then in that case I guess the sheet is useless. However, it is a good thing to have several instances (e.g. 4 or 5) for every pokemon since it is not because there is one that the owner will be willing to trade it with a given user.

Alright then, we can start doing it together.
It's cool to have a nice design, but really here the main goal is accessing information quickly, and it should remain pretty simple.

the problem I see here is that people maintain (sometimes with great effort) trade threads here for a reason.

I know personally that I prefer people to contact me on my thread if they want anything I have. It allows for transparency that does protect people from getting scammed.

It's nice to put them all in an organized list but, quite frankly, I don't want people pm'ing me asking for trades...thats why i have a thread. So if you're really interested in doing this, please consider me opting out.
