Impish can be just as good as Careful considering that is the weaker stat of Dragonite's defenses and OU tends to be physically oriented anyway. It might even be better.

Impish / Careful / Bold / Calm are all great natures if you want to make use of Barrier. All that changes is Dragonite's attacking move for my hypothetical set. If physical, you're using Dragon Claw. If special, you're using Dragon Pulse. Special does have its merits because you don't have to worry about contact effects, intimidate, or rocky helmet.

Well, its not that different from its Sp.Def (95 vs 100) so its much more beneficial to use a SpD nature whether you invest fully in it or not, not to mention that its Defense can be more easily and directly supported by teammates via Intimidate or Burns via Will-O-Wisp or Scald. Obviously +Def work as well if you want to be nearly inpervous on the physical side, but it looks inferior in my eyes compared with any +SpD nature and physical mostrosities like Garchomp eats it for breakfast anyway (it could do a marvelous job against something like Landorus-T though). But welp, at the end of the day it doesn't matter what you pick for it, cuz not having Multiscale kills any kind of viability that Barrier has in say, the OU metagame, and Fairies like Clefable and Sylveon make defensive sets like a Barrier more of a liability than an asset more often than not.

Edit: It doesn't have setup opportunities as well; without Multiscale its opportunities are severely reduced and its typing can be easily exploited, specially without some offensive presence (Unless you go for DD + Barrier or something lol) forcing it out more often than not, and its needs a huge amount of crippling/overspecialized support (if not an entire team built around) for it to even set up once; it might even be more of a setup fodder mon than anything.

Also, I don't know why the hell I'm asking this, but whatever, should I keep or Toss this...

Zekrom (Adamant) | 22-23 / 31 / 10-11 / 26-27 / 31 / 31

Its Shiny, if you couldn't tell by the not-so-brilliant IVs, my Synch also failed, but I don't lose anything with asking.

Edit2: Tossed.

Inner Focus is only good as the pre mega ability for doubles/triples, so you want it for one of those metas right? Don't. Actually have it, just asking a question:)

Also, for the weird Lance DNite what natures and UVs are acceptable. Not sure I should even boer with it cuz it sucks, but just out of curiosity. For instance, would Bold 31/0/31/31/31/31 be ok? Or how about Timid 31/0/30/30/31/31?
Yes VGc

I know it sounds blasphemous to say, but you're not doomed if you don't have multiscale. Most opponents will figure you have it, Fake Out to try to break it. Inner Focus allows Dnite to set up anyway. Multiscale is the better ability, but I would say having Inner Focus definitely compliments Multiscale.

Also, keep that imo.

The thing is, that without Multiscale Dragonites goes from an awesome setup sweeper and 'mon in general to a heavily outclassed slow dragon; any dragon like say, Salamence, Garchomp and lol even Zygarde brutally outclass it without its precious Multiscale.

I tossed that Zekrom as well; had its HP been 31 I would've kept it.

Soft resetting for Yveltal, when suddenly:

Modest
30/x/31/30/31/31

Not sure if I should keep or aim for something better (can't get much better, honestly). Any recommendations?

That's a solid Keep, unless the 30 IV in SpA bothers you.

It's more for trading purposes than anything else. I'm inclined to keep it.
Some people might find that 30 IV annoying as well, and there's a flawless one that Theorymon is giving away IIRC; but if you really want to keep it, just do it man, its still pretty good and a 30 IV in SpA is not the end of the world anyway.

Very true. Although, the only reason I began to soft reset is due to Theorymon's thread being closed and him no longer taking requests (at least for the moment).

Random question: Is there any advantage to breeding in ORAS instead of XY?

My PAL Y save has been my main game from the start and I was just curious if I should be going to AS for breeding.

Not relevant, but man Simple Questions/Request Mark 47 is massive now (500 pages!), lol.

If running around in a infinite loop is your sort of thing, ORAS is better in that the IV judge is in the same location as the loop (i.e. the Battle Resort). Saves a little time without having to fly somewhere else.

Ah yeah, I kinda forgot about the infinite loop thing. I think I prefer the Daycare location in XY. The IV judge isn't a problem for me with PS.

So just want to confirm: there's no benefit when it comes to egg moves in ORAS? Like, no exclusive ones or anything?

Oh, no nothing like exclusive egg moves. It's really the same as XY tbh. Just minor things like the infinite loop, which is pretty much a moot point in your circumstance. I only prefer ORAS for the ambiance of the daycare lol.

edit: or not. well it's mostly the same

You have three flawless ivs the minimum and the boosted stat isn't perfect. Trade value is a toss other than that you could use it for personal use

This might be asking much, but does anyone have a list of all the Pokemon that don't need their Hidden Abilities? As in, its better if they don't use them.

The reason I ask is because I have this TM spread from ages ago (F/31/F/F/M/M) and there is someone that matches the ESV on reddit. Only thing is, its a Male Non-HA spread.
