What are some good, unique / less common Z-move users right now in the OU meta? I'm looking to build with something new but don't want to go with the more common Z-moves like Koko, Zygarde, Heatran, Fairium Magearna, Rockium Bulu, Volcarona, Waterium Greninja, etc.

I am personally a very big fan of Waterium Z Keldeo, it effectively lures in Toxapex and hits everything very hard when boosted. Other Pokemon that i'd recommend are Electrium Z Thundurus-T, Psychium Z Tapu Lele, and Buginium/Psychium Z Volcarona.

Is offensive mew worth it?
Mew @ Life Orb

Usually, when people run Offensive Mew, they run the Double Dance set

Mew @ Mewnium Z
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Fire Blast/Aura Sphere
- Nasty Plot
- Rock Polish

I have the following Milotic:

Milotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Marvel Scale
EVs: 148 HP / 224 Def / 136 SpD
Calm Nature

I'm not too good at math, so my question is this: is there any combination of EVs that will provide greater OVERALL BULK after a Marvel Scale activation without sacrificing SpDef? (Currently looking at 368 HP, 375 Def, 352 SpDef.)

To make a long story short for your question

Milotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Marvel Scale
EVs: 4HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature

are the most optimal ev spreads for your milotic as they both hit 1100 in overall bulk when Marvel Scale activates, whereas your old set only hit 1095
This doesn't sacrifice on special bulk either.

Thanks for your reply!

Unfortunately, it looks like that DOES sacrifice on special bulk. If we look at a common special attack Milotic might switch into in the OU metagame, Choice Specs Greninja's Dark Pulse, your suggested spread gives:

252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Dark Pulse vs. 4 HP / 252+ SpD Milotic: 103-123 (31 - 37%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

My current spread gives:

252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Dark Pulse vs. 148 HP / 136+ SpD Milotic: 112-133 (30.4 - 36.1%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Granted, that's only about a 1% difference, but that 1% can be pretty important. That spread would also leave the Milotic significantly more vulnerable to powerful physical attacks before Marvel Scale can be activated.

I suppose it's probably impossible to improve on my set without sacrificing special bulk or weakening the static (pre-Marvel Scale) physical bulk?

What are the IVs on the Z-Wild Charge Koko so that it will also have hp ice? I don’t want to have 0 attack IVs but that’s what showdown automatically does.

Can anyone give me the set for bulky Volcarona (if that's a thing)
It's not really much of a thing to be honest, but the set is something along the lines of Roost / Quiver Dance / Fiery Dance / Filler (usually depends on what you want to lose to less). Pex and Tar really constrain Volcarona to running more moves, so bulking out only helps in a few matchups (though, I guess, they do exist).

Here's a spread that's on a stall team I stole:

Volcarona @ Leftovers
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 248 HP / 192 Def / 36 SpA / 8 SpD / 24 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Roost
- Bug Buzz

Finchinator made the spread but can't quite remember exactly what it's for lol.

No i remember some mod (gary? Finch?) said something along the lines that last time they made one (last gen i think) it was hella annoying and dumb to mod so they didnt make it again

Im^^not^^sure^^tho

Edit: sniped

Does Minior have any place in the meta? Running it with continental crush and hp ice lets it do a good amount of work. Is scizor+ Ash gren too much of a hindrance? I’d love to build with it but is it just too gimmicky? Seems like an excellent Magnezone partner for a birdspam/grass spam team or does hawlucha just outclass it entirely?

It's pretty bad in the meta. base 100 defenses are decent but held back by 60 hp so he gets one-shot by too many thing after rocks, and even after shields down 100 offenses just aren't enough to put in work, and even with zone koko+lucha is much stronger.

If you count everything since Gen 1, is Chansey -> Blissey (in Gens 5+) the one single case where a pre-evolution has been more viable than its post-evolution? Or have there been other cases?

Dusclops > Dusknoir in Gen 5, and Porygon2 ~= Porygon Z in Gen 5 and 6. There may be a few other examples in the lower tiers but those are the primary examples with Chansey
