How much more deliberation is required before magearna or spectrier are suspected?
You know, considering all of that the suspect itself IS a deliberation on whether or not the mon is bannable, several mons clearly have general consensus for a suspect, and the most recent suspect was late, long overdue, and a forgone conclusion?

Must haves are a checks to opposing Spectrier as Spectrier is really relevant right now and with the recent Ban of Urshifu-S it lost an offensive Check to it, so it can become even better. So Dark-types such as Mandibuzz with Knock Off, Roost, Foul Play, U-Turn / Defog or Hydreigon with Roost and Dark Pulse are really relevant right now. Blissey can help with Spectrier too, but the issue is, when Spectrier runs Calm Mind Blissey even with Shadow Ball in its movepool can't overcome Spectrier and it will result into a PP war at maximum as it become a stalemate situation.
Another Dark-type which can handle Spectrier to a degree is G-Moltres, however it lacks Roost, so it is not as consistent as the above mentioned Mandibuzz or Hydreigon.

Cinderace has its checks in Slowbro, Toxapex, and depending on the set also Heatran, as High Jump Kick-less Cinderace has trouble getting through Heatran, but scouting for the set is necessary, protect on heatran will help in this case and also punishes a HJK-variant of Cinderace. Landorus-T and bulky Swampert can also deal with Cinderace and threaten it back with strong STAB moves.

Other must have for Teambuilding are a Ground-immune Pokemon, as with plenty of different Ground-types roaming around you need a Pokemon which can help with pivoting into their STABs. A Steel-type is also a must and can help with the relevant Fairy-types in the tier. An electric-immune Pokemon is also a high consideration on teams. Volt-Turn Cores are really good right now such as Choice Specs Magearna combined with Cinderace or Rillaboom, as they can threaten each others checks or in Rillabooms case it can help Magearna with lowering the damage from Ground-type attacks due to Grassy Terrain and grants it some recovery.

These are the most important points in Teambuilding currently in my opinion. Hope this helped :)

Thanks for the advice yet again. I definately look forward to implementing it. My first team will probably be clefable, Azumarill, spectrier, Mandibuzz, Landorous T and most likely CB scizor or volt switch mag to round out the team.

I'll probably get smashed but it'll be fun :)

I'm trying to make a team with future sight tapu lele. This is my first time building a serious team, what pokemon should I use with it?
Darks and fighting types usually apreciate future sight support, for example pex is good walling fighting but with sight it deals with. Usually glowking is better as this role but I guess u can use tapu lele

Why doesn't the damage calculator feature a specially defensive set for Hippowdon? It's great at dealing with menaces like Nidoking, Heatran, Magearna, Zapdos, Dracozolt, and even Tornadus-T if running Rock Slide and/or Toxic. I find it to be a great member of many of my teams and I feel like it's viable enough to at least be included in the damage calculator. I assume this is just an oversight. Where can I go to get this fixed or at least considered during the next set update of the damage calculator? Thank you to any responses.

The sets on the damage calculator are based on the sets that are on-site. The on-site set is physically defensive. A specially defensive spread is generally not the best for Hippowdon, though definitely viable. It will likely be featured as an alternative option to the physically defensive set once we get started on its analysis.

I believe it was increased because the Gen 8 dex was much smaller, and we could afford to have smaller tiers. Although the dex has increased it would take a lot of coordination and effort to change it back.
I think we should lower the shifts because now we way mire mons. As a ZU player I see many mons that are good in higher tiers end in ZU for no reason, example like tauros (is banned from PU but it serves as an example) Magmortar is very good in PU, jellicent is good in tiers like PU and NU, Palosand is a decent pick in UU, tangela is good in the tiers that tangrowth is not allowed.
In conclusion I think the community has take this a bit mire seriously because many people think is just powercreep. But is not always true, sometimes we can t just use them because we have many viable mons, toy síndrome. these are the main reason. Hopefully someone just agree with and can share its opinion

TLDR: it was never about dex size, it's to prevent troublesome wild fluctuations for lower tiers. Less flavor of the month rises that can greatly fuck with the functioning/meta of other tiers.

What's the spread used on Calm Mind + Pain Split Magearna?

There is no Calm Mind + Pain Split Magearna spread so far, but I would think that 252 HP alongside 252 Spatt will work, the rest 4 can be put into either of the Defenses or in the Speed. Itemchoice could be Leftovers for more longevity, as with Pain Split in conjunction the longevity will get maximized, therefore it can act in a long term during the battle. The nature could be Modest to increase the damage output after a Calm Mind-boost.

Someone can explain what mean the Moltress spread ?

The Spread is to tank a Gunk Shot from Jolly Cinderace, so it doesnt get a safe 2HKO on Moltres with Gunk Shot. It also can tank a +1 Zen Headbutt from Cinderace as it doesnt net in a safe 2HKO in as well. Furthermore it can tank a Choice Band-boosted Double Iron Bash from Melmetal pretty comfortably. And it can tank a +2 Knock Off from Kartana from full HP.
