simple yet effective

hello,
i guess i am looking for ways to improve this team. i had good results with it, but most wins were 1-0. here is my team:

SwampertNormalSprite.gif

name: swampert

ability: torrent

item: choice band

nature: adamant(+atk, -spa)

ev spread: 164/hp, 252/atk, 88/spe

moves: waterfall-earthquake-ice punch-stealth rock

gameplay:
leading with swampert gives an impression that he is a stealth rock lead. sure enough, people fall for it and often get their spinners and walls OHKOed or greatly damaged. also, using zoroark with a swampert mask is a nightmare for lead deoxys-D. with his great bulk he can survive many hits from threats like dermanitan and hitting back with powerful stab attacks. (thanks to "Moo" for the suggestion)

name: victini

ability: victory star

item: choice scarf

nature: adamant(+atk, -spa)
ev spread: 2/hp, 252/atk, 252/spe

moves: v-create-zen headbutt-fusion bolt-u-turn

gameplay: my revenge killer, extremely helpful at destroying teams especially at the late game. weakness to stealth rocks is annoying, but it is worth it.

zoroark.png

name: zoroark

ability: illusion

item: life orb

nature: rash (+spa, -spd)

ev spread: 4/atk, 252/spa, 252/spe

moves: dark pulse-sucker punch-grass knot-flamethrower

gameplay: fooling the opponent and destroying with zoroak's destructive special attack and stab dark pulse will put any team to shame. sucker punch is a counter for priority and scarf users. using a swampert mask or a roserade mask has proves to be quite useful in getting teams of guard.
hitmontop.gif

name: hitmontop

ability: intimidate

item: leftovers

nature: impish(+def, -spa)

ev spread: 252/hp, 252/def, 4/spe

moves: rapid spin-toxic-close combat-stone edge

gameplay: defensive core. toxic can also do a lot of damage, however, other than a spinner to protect togekiss and victiny from stealth rocks, it is the least useful of my team. i am thinking of changing it with a defensive blastoise.

name: togekiss

ability: scene grace

item: leftovers

nature: modest(+spa, -atk)

ev spread: 252/hp, 200/def, 56/spe

moves: thunder wave-air slash-aura sphere-roost
gameplay: the usual hax set. extremely useful. (thank you "this guy" for your suggestion but i believe there is a little need for some speed to out speed certain threats.)

407.png

name: roserade

ability: natural cure

item: life orb

nature: modest(+spa, -atk)

ev spread: 252/hp, 252/spd

moves: sleep powder-rest-leaf storm-sludge bomb(thanks "moo" for the suggestion)

gameplay: toxic spikes makes teams beg for mercy when planted. however, i find leaf storm and sludge bomb more use than sleep powder and toxic spikes. plus the specially defensive core it makes stops many special attackers from doing noted damage.

threats: i have a bit of trouble with calm mind/curse set ups but either than that everything is manageable.

closing comments:
out of 43 matches i tested this team with i got 29 victories and 14 defeats.

i believe it has potential to become even better with all your help.
thanks for reading and rating.

I'd switch your togekiss spread, I use 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Def, with a calm nature. This makes togekiss function as a mixed wall dropping t-waves on w/e is immune to t-spikes and roosting off the damage. And don't worry it still deals out plenty of damage 3hko'ing most pokes that take neutral damage, which is perfectly fine for a paraflincher. Although the drop in speed means you'll need to para your target a lot more often. But leading off w/ t-wave is a generally good play anyway. And if the damage drop does bug you, swap out aura sphere for nasty plot. Heal bell also works great in the last slot if your team needs a cleric.

And u may want to fix ur pics.

Hey, I've got a few suggestions

On Swampert, Superpower is just useless coverage. The reason for this is because you already hit Steel-types like Empoleon and Registeel harder with STAB Earthquake, and Bronzong is neutral. Even typical Rock-types are hit harder by Waterfall / Earthquake (Rhyperior, Kabutops). It might hit the odd Ferroseed, but you have Victini / Zoroark / Hitmontop for that, so it won't ever be a problem. I suggest replacing it with Stealth Rock. While it might seem stupid to have Stealth Rock on a choiced Pokemon, it's actually not if you use it right. Swampert can cause lots of switches with its typing, so you can easily get Stealth Rock up, and the odds are that your opponent will be bringing in a Pokemon to beat Swampert, so you won't be staying in for more than one turn. Having Stealth Rock on your team will greatly support it, especially with Victini, Togekiss and Zoroark, which cause a lot of switches with U-turn / Paraflinch / Illusion.

Roserade is such a good Pokemon, but Toxic Spikes aren't very effective in my opinion. The reason for this is because Poison-type Pokemon, mainly Roserade but also Nidoking / Nidoqueen, just make them useless most of the time. I suggest changing Roserade to the Offensive set:

Roserade (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sleep Powder
- Rest
- Leaf Storm
- Sludge Bomb

Life Orb Roserade is an absolute monster! You said yourself that you don't find Toxic Spikes effective, so you should definetily give this set a go. This thing is so powerful, and can even KO Snorlax after a Sludge Bomb and a Leaf Storm (It needs Stealth Rock damage, which I've suggested above). Rest also gives Roserade great recovery with Natural Cure, so Life Orb recoil won't be much of a problem. Roserade has problems with Steel-type Pokemon, particularly Escavalier, if it has used Sleep Powder already, so be careful with that.

Good luck with the team, I hope I helped!!

Also, you really really need to expand your descriptions, or this thread will get locked!
