My set up is:

"Horrible Harry" Heroin deck, Jamie Thomas Thunder trucks, Flip Sidecut 57mms FAT WHEELS = FAT AIR and Blueprint Prevelance bearings.

I learnt backside melons out of this 5 foot quarter pipe yesterday, i've been trying them for ages, but only got the balls to come back into it :D proper stoked.

Haha looking tight Dan Dan, I can't skate ramps worth shit. I'm more of a "hey I hope I can get a lot of respect if I throw myself down this obstacle" kind of skater.

I've got a solid amount of switch tricks down, including switch Backside flips, Frontside flips, and nearly switch tres which is mind boggling for me because I could never three flip.
 
I went skating today with some dudes down by the local CVS

we were just about to leave when this old guy comes up and says "son, there's no skateboarding allowed here"
I asked the man where he got this information and he lead me 10 feet down and pointed to a "no skateboarding" sign
I asked him what it said and he said "read it yourself"
I told him that I cant cause I have reading disabilities and he said "you're a wise ass, leave before I call the cops"
and I told him to fuck off
then he started to walk into the CVS and we could hear him calling the manager

I never ran faster in my life
 
My set-up is Alien Workshop, Indys and some Spitfires. I like it.

I also wear eS the most, but I'm skating SB Dunks atm.

I skate alot, but the problem is, I'm not very good.

Plan B Rasta deck.

Venture Trucks.

Pig Wheels.

Some pitiful ABEC 5 Flip bearings.

And Halos hardware, which is also Rasta.

As you can see, I need a new board, and another downside to my board is that it is way too heavy.
 
I've just started skateboarding but I'm not taking it too seriousely till I get a good board, which won't be until my girlfriend starts working and can buy me one.
Right now I just use my little sisters piece of shit board that she never uses. I've managed to learn to ollie. But I usually skate with my left foot forward, but I ollie with the left on back.. And I can't ollie the other way so I'm trying to learn to skate the other way which is hard.
I can only ollie like 7 inches but seeing as I never could before, that first ollie was a very epic moment in my life. Yes.
 
Ok, so I've been looking for a new deck to buy and I saw a Mullen Uber Light. my question- is it worth the money? it is obviously high-priced, and i don't want to spend more money on something that really isnt that much lighter than other boards (if at all. who knows, names nowadays are horribly misleading). Oh, and abec7s or abec9s? i would probably go for 7s again, but i'd like to try something new. suggestions anyone?

p.s. omg everytime i try to heelflip, my heel just slides off the board and i always get close to getting popsicled... has anyone ever gone through this phase? b/c i need help in fixing it lol

had an awesome sesh yesterday at this new concrete park in Crawley, West Sussex. It was filled with loads of awesome skaters and everyone was pumped...i love the atmosphere at places like that. Some crazy local stuck a tres flip noseslide on a huge marble block...i couldn't really believe what i was seeing lol
 
my friend skates a lot, and i've skated with him and his friends before. i suck, but i can atleast ollie.

i really prefer snowboarding.

Getting paid soon, so I'm gonna buy a new setup..my owns getting mullered and I've already had to DIY myself a new truck out of about 3 other ones.
 
I want to get back into skating. Quit about 2 years ago because my football was more important to me, and because of an injury.

The local skate shop that once sponsored me now no longer exists so i'm gonna have to pay full price for shit.

I miss everything about skating quite a lot.
 
Dude you should come skate with us sometime, I'll let you know next time we're planning to go down to the southbank or the new bowls in london.
 
i wanted to start a skate thread... but i just searched one cuz i didn't want to be the bastard that started a new one. anyways... cool to see others skate. here's some pics. i like to longboard and sk8 pools. mostly at the same time, but hill riding is what i was bred on. definately hit me up if you live in the MD, VA, DC area. i'm always trying to skate.
