Can I take Mega-Gyarados? (Water) If the first question is yes, do I have to take base Gyarados as well or no?

yes, you have to make sets for both forms in the same analysis. If you would like to take a different mon, edit this post with what you'd like instead. -Shiba

I've seen someone reserving Magearna for steel, so just asking if it is possible to still reserve it for fairy?

Eien: You may reserve a Pokemon for a type, so it would be possible to reserve Magearna for Fairy. That being said, we'd like to save the S rank Pokemon analyses for the most experienced players. Feel free to choose another Pokemon though!
