NOC Small Street Game Thread - Ended- TOWN wins!

1. Said that in my voting post, I felt that SB going inactive there was the ideal scum play given how DS. and Former Hope was going to blast the thread with their arguments.

2. I was offline, deadline was 3 AM my time, I sleep at 10 PM. I also didn't really check Smogon for quite a while before bed so my last recollection of the thread was DS. and Former Hope still going at each other.

3. I think the people who hopped on right before it gained traction could probably be looked at, depending on DS. flip. If they flip Scum, those that hopped at the opportunity to push the wagon once it looked like it was gaining traction could probably be looked at. Everyone's talked about this already so I'm not going to go into too much detail pre-flip.

4. Both Former Hope and SB flipping Town kinda screwed with the lynchpool I had in mind (SB/Former/DS/Sam), I'm still not going to actively vote Drookez apart from consolidation. As much as I wanted to believe Former v DS was TvT, it doesn't seem that way now that SB and Former both flipped Town. I'm still hesitant on calling DS scum but I'll consolidate if I have to. Honestly I'd get an inactive/fillerer like Hannahh or Sanjana, which you also proposed previous day, but the "Kill everyone in DS/Sam/Former/SB" plan seems to have already been set in motion and it's probably best to not follow through with it. After that though, weeding out the inactives would probably be best since once those people die, activity would be low enough for current lurkers like me and toni to start participating more actively.
not quite sure what you mean by that ? can you clarify ?

Activity after the thunderdome dies will probably slow. A big reason people lurk is that the thread moves too fast. Once activity dies down to reasonable levels, lurkers are expected to participate. Any remaining lurkers are enough of a hindrance to be deserving of being lynched. Right now, we have enough activity and existing problems.

For future reference

(day 1 samoyed/DS interaction)
Yeah I just caught up but I’m going to keep my vote on you because I really don’t like how you’ve been twisting the words of Tex and FH. I don’t think you’re misreading, I think you’re trying to manipulate dumber town and use their words against them. Now, I don’t think that either of then are conftown at all, but trying to ‘edit other people’s posts’ is strictly scummy behavior. Can you convince me that you’re just really dumb and you were misreading? You haven’t so far.
Also yes, this has created lots of nice discussion :)

FOS on csyager as well.
gets into a spat with DS, ends up unvoting

Unvote
I was sort sheeping Texas there and not forming my own opinions much. I reread and while I don’t think your posts make you look great I’m more comfortable without my vote on you for the moment
(DS liked the post)
Other than you, I Didnt like how Samoyed played that bit after I asked him why he was still voting me, could be scum there, I would probably swap Toni and Hannah and definitely think there could be scum in the lurkers.
but you did like
you literally liked my post
FH calls out DS' post as super scummy and votes him, which would be the start of a long adventure
I liked that you realize that you were just sheeping Texas
D3 justification to ds' scum read on samoyed
1) Are you even reading what I'm saying? I said the Former read was an associative, not the Samoyed one. Reading comprehension bro. I think Samoyed is scummy how he hopped onto my train D1 without any reasoning, then held there for too long, then when I called him out he immediately hopped off - mixed with his gameplay yesterday which was seemingly non-existent
2) Are you even reading what im saying... again?! I just said that Im at work and watching and listening and will push when I decide to. Not gonna let you dictate my gameplay.
3) Duskfall98 can you please ping or replace the inactive players
4) I dont even know what you are trying to say here. They are easy shots because no one is gonna waste a faith heal on defending an inactive.

Okay, claim ty

So, my line of thinking may have not been right, but I feel like either Former Hope or DS. is our best option to go for right now. I may be blind, but I haven't seen anything indicating I should vote on someone else. I just don't think we have any other leads
cs says there's scum in fh vs ds on d1
on d3 does not want to "risk" lynching ds

"1-shot Night-Governor (target can't be voted next day)" would we be notified when trying to vote the target ? Or would it be made public at the start of the day cycle ?

can you confirm or deny whether a night action such as tracker would receive a "action failed" result or just fail without result if it tried to target a commuter ?
The governor's target would not be public

Any actions targeting someone who has commuted will fail

  • Samoyed: Fruit Vendor (+1) (targeted ds and hal)
  • CS: Public Vanilla: (0)
  • Drookez: Priest (0)
  • Apricity: 1-Shot Gladiator (0)
  • Hannah: Delayed Voyeur (-2) (targeted nuxl and ?)
  • Even-Night Tracker (-4)
  • Odd-Night Tracker (-5)
  • Universal Backup (-5)
  • Mewtwo: Non-consecutive Night Commuter (-5)
  • Tonithetourguide: Modified Faith Healer (-5)
  • Moody: Restless Spirit (-35)
  • Doublevoter (-45)
No claims from: DS., Nuxl, Jordan, Sanjana

xnadrojx and ds actively dodged claiming
