Sadly Tiamat, I'm speaking in real-life terms. I've played Shaky quite a bit, he's also very good. I'm beginning to wonder if Yoshi has an inherent disadvantage against Ness, because I can't quite seem to ever win consistently against Ness players with any real skill. That could also have to do with my skill, though, heh...

Well Steeler, since there's no local competitive community at all, WFC is the fix I need to... not get too rusty. :( And I just got home last night from a Midwest Circuit Event last night (this morning technically!) and have had varying success since I started attending live tournaments in the summer.
yeah...offline is better than wifi, ten times over. i got the feelin that most of you played wifi exclusively.
anyway, no input lag, and the general excitement you get when you enter a real tournament or how much fun you have when you brawl with a crew. but if wifi's the only thing you've got...:( anyway good luck guys, although yall don't need it.

I don't get you Steeler. I doubt any of us play wifi exclusively because we choose to, there just arent good sources of offline play available for us. Not everywhere is there a smashfest or a tourney every week/month. Speaking for myself, I have to drive over an hour out of state for stuff like Mass Madness (which I missed and now it's doing Melee again, which I really dont care for), which is lame. Driving for so long isn't that big of a deal to me, but the issue also is that there just arent any tournaments as of late to go to. New England still loves it's melee, and I couldn't care less for it.
Colin, for example, only bears playing wifi because Alberta has really no tournaments.
Wifi is for those who arent lucky enough with a developed smash scene nearby.

Ugh, I really just DON'T seem to have as much Brawl time as I used to. T-T
There are sooo many people here that I haven't fought yet, and of course I'd like to battle some classics like Yoshi King and Umby again. (It's been a while!) ^^
Well, assignments continue to rush at me, and I step up to the plate to BAT the hell out of them (or in Lucas' case...WHOMP)! X3 (the best I can)
I feel bad that I can't be on to party with you guys, but school calls. >.>
(However, if I get a spot in this tourney, you can be sure that I'll MAKE time for my matches!) ;P

I simply can't do it. I never have a ride.
But I think I'm doing pretty okay for someone who's never been to a tournament before.
I'm too busy playing smash offline to fight with you losers.
There are so many people I'm in contact with that could give you a ride. Hell, I have someone that could probably pick us up for a tournament this weekend.

Oh, then yes. I drove out of state to attend W.T.F. (Work. Time. Fun.) a couple months back. I ended up leaving before I could do my second match because I didnt want my ride to leave without me >__>
