How about Blissey?

225 / 10 / 10 / 75 / 135 / 55

Decent Special attack, but Spd and Atk are the ass!!!

Maybe I should rephrase what I was thinking.

If it's offensive or balanced, either way, it's defenses don't need to be that high, maybe 70-80 for offensive or 80-90 for balanced. I'm not saying that both defenses have to be 90 for balanced, you could give it a cripplingly low special defense and call it a weakness. I don't want it to be too fast, especially if it's balanced. Gardevoir's 80 base speed seems to be a good upper bound for speed, nothing more than 85-90. If I had to randomly pick the speed I'd like to see it would be in the 70s. I don't want this to be broken in the least, which is why I said I thought that keeping the defenses down was a good idea.

Definitely balanced like Swampert. Imo, Swampert is the best at what it does and if you add an uber version, this guy is amazing.

I have to agree. Anything over 80 and people are tempted to whack a choice Scarf on this and say Pogeyman go! While ignoring all the other, more artistic options available to it.

ima say balanced. i think since we made the last one have poor(ish)
defensive stats, we should try to make this one more bulky.

woo yeah lets make it offensive just like salamence,to go along with the SR resistance,2 immunities,2 very good physical stab types and generally great typing.
The last pokemon was borderline broken lets get it right this time.

If this pokemon has more then base 105 attack considering the insane movepool you lot will no doubt give it, its a fucking joke.

i think im gonna go with a porydeux-esque balanced here. this thing has great offencive and defensive typing, and could make a great tank. however, i would like it to have a little more offence and speed than defence, like 80/118/75/62/80/105=520

Balanced. Reason: Ghost is an awsome Special type and Fighting is a great Physical. When combined that makes a strong Pokemon. I say lean more towards the Physical side for a few reasons:
1). Would not be as broken as Special. Ghost Physical moves are somewhat limited Shadow Claw/Punch/Sneak. Not so strong.
2). Fightings only Special are Aura Sphere and Focus blast. But I find Blast a tad inaccurate.
3). Physical, to me is a little easier to work with in terms of movesets.
4). Fighting is, like most people say, defensive. So making this a bulky sweeper is ideal to me.

But, yeah a mixed is awsome!

Thank you sir for your obviously helpful insight on this matter. We are without a doubt enlightened by your words of wisdom.

Mixed, leaning towards Physical more. Reason: Ghost is an awsome Special type and Fighting is a great Pysical. When combined that makes a strong Pokemon. I say lean more towards teh Physical side for a few reasons:

Thank you for not actually reading. Physical/Special orientation is next. This is offense/defense orientation.

OMG, I need a better understand of what made those pokemon in the Balanced section so well....balanced? Swampert Hippo, and a few other pokemon there threw me off.

I believe it's that they can function both offensively and defensively. That's what I'm getting from it. Oh, and voting BALANCED...

I'm going with Balanced.

We already have a defensive ghost that can use fighting and ghost moves. Its name is Dusknoir, and it is everywhere.

Balanced pokemon as a general rule are less useful than specialized ones, however, given a decent stat distribution, which we almost invariably will have, they can serve multiple purposes. I'd envision this as being able to use Vacuum Wave or Shadow Sneak on certain sets, and effectively utilize Shadow Claw/Cross Chop or Shadow Ball/Aura Sphere.

It could even mix and match with something like Shadow Ball and Subpunch, with Subpunch making up for no EV's with sheer STAB power. Ghost/Fighting certainly has enough resists and immunities to pull it off. Moreover, if we make it Balanced and want it to do anything decently, Speed is usually the first victim, and that helps a Subpunch set (ask Hariyama).

I'm going with offensive. Hopefully this will be physical, since basically all the ghosts are special orientated already.

Okay, originally thought the term "Balanced" when referring to a pokemon's role meant it had even stats like Celebi or Kingdra.

Deleted my perivous two post to clear up my vote and my votes is Balanced but leaning toward offensive(Bulky)

since the last was was mixed offensive i say this one sould be Physcial balanced defensive

simply because i feel that ghost/fighting would be a nice defensive tank just having good stab to me isn't a reason to turn this into Scyant 2.0

Balanced, much in the same way Swampert or Porygon2 are. They don't necessarily hurt much (given the opportunity they can, however), but they are constantly useful when you need them to be.

Glaceon (65/60/110/130/95/65)? It's the closest I could find... But it's typing is balls, with like, the new Poke having more Immunities than Glaceon has resists.

Balanced

If it's too offensive, there will be no end to the debates about it being "broken". If it's too defensive, we will have wasted excellent offensive typing.

Also, I'm hoping it will be physical.
