Smogon Fantasy Basketball '11-'12

Possible to start the draft half an hour later? I just found out I finish work right as the draft starts! If that's impossible I'll have to see if it's possible to draft on my phone I guess!
 
Sorry, I was not able to change the draft time. Since the first 3 rounds you have keepers it should give you time to get here. We can also stall during each pick to give you more time.
 
I just found a mobile drafting app for my iPhone so assuming all is working properly I should be able to participate while I'm in the shops after work. GG.
 
Of course Brooke Lopez gets injured and is out through February... Looks like he'll be riding my bench for awhile.

Additionally, I also picked up Jarrett Jack, as he was recently named the starting PG of the Hornets.

You can't change your lineup till after each week.

So with Brook Lopez getting injured, apparently Deron Williams sucks. Looks like I'm screwed this season.
 
In tight with Stallion right now (You're everest right?) in our match up. I think I have points down, but he probably won rebounds this week. Rest of our stats are tossups.

I figured I'd post the weekly standings to revitalize this thread a little.

Through the first three weeks, it appears that Kevin Garrett is pulling ahead of the pack due to a luck of the draw picking of Kyle Lowry. The wild card pick allowed Kevin Garrett to have a triple threat at the point guard position to help him lockup points in 3s, steals, assists, and points. With the season still infantile, will Kevin be able to hold his already substantial lead?
 
Thank you Jeremy Lin and Nikola Pekovic, two waiver wire saviours. Although I wish I cut Eric Gordon for Lin when I had the chance in one of my leagues >.<...

Even with all the injuries on my team in the 8 teamer, I'm currently second in both my leagues and if the week ends as it appears today, I'll be first in both of them ^_^.
 
Except you're leading 4-5, and I still have a 2 win advantage over you. There's still a lot of basketball to be played. Don't count your chickens before they're hatched.
 
Ah right, it was 6-3 when I last checked! Still, for a team that's had a LOT of injuries over the course of the season to good players (Gallinari, Bargnani, Gordon, Jack, Conley to name a few) I'm doing pretty well, and to be placing that highly in two leagues at once isn't bad at all! Despite being my favourite sport, basketball is the only fantasy sport that I haven't placed in the top 3 for every season so it's a nice change of pace haha. Usually I only have one team doing well and the other is struggling along!

Anyway, how's everyone else doing? In the league that Eraddd was referring to above, his team has definitely been the benchmark all season. I may be leading our matchup now but I'm not sure if he's lost an overall H2H matchup all season. In the other league I'm in Men of Destiny has been leading for most of the season, as he does with almost every fantasy sports league (but this is the week where I'm looking to leapfrog him!). I'm also waiting for Mizuno to come out of nowhere like he does every fucking season and win it all again -_-
 
Honestly, went into the draft, knowing fuck-all. First 5 rounds, drafted players I knew who would perform (Durant, Ellis, Aldridge, etc), then got some really good help from unlikely players like Lowry, Humphries, Jennings etc. Haven't lost a H2H all season, but it's pretty close with me and MS at the moment. The only injury I've really had to deal with (long term) was Ginobili, but other minor scraps like Aldridge, Irving and etc have annoyed me somewhat.
 
Well, my run is finally over. Unfortunately Sessions couldn't save me this time (hi Loki). Gotta give someone else a chance right? Hahah, it was a nice run, and leave it to a weird season like this one to end it.

On the bright side, I have a really healthy lead in the Smogon roto league, so at least I might win a Smogon league for the 6th year in a row (::evil laugh::)
