Remember if you have selected to switch pokemon, you must switch with these pokemon.

Battling must be finished by March 8th

Remember to save your logs, Or I will count your match void.

I'm confused with the format. Texas Hold 'Em simply increases the selection from which you can choose your best hand of five every turn. I assume we are at the "turn" part, so wouldn't you simply give us more options from which to make our teams?

Basically each round now will have 5 pokemon you can choose from and only those 5, However I want people to either choose if they want to swap pokemon, I only want the number of Pokemon you wish to exchange not the actual pokemon, and then I will unveil the 5 new pokemon, and you can make your team accordingly.

So you have your 6, you opt to lose two, you have the option of 5 new ones and you must switch 2 of your pokemon for these new two.

You may wish to stick or you may change up to 2 Pokemon

No, I just need to know how many Pokemon you are exchanging, I can wait for the logs to check and make sure people adhere to what they said.

Oh, sorry for the double post, but I can't edit at the moment: I wish to change two of my pokemon also when I am correctly inserted into my tournament position.

Actually, I'm pretty confused too. Curt did best me, regardless of whether he's leaving Smogon or not.

Speaking of...You do seem to be pretty active here for someone who's supposed to have left :P. But it makes sense that you'd stick around for the tournaments you already started.

How could I possibly know how many I am exchanging with no new pokemon listed? I will or will not exchange pokemon based on if the ones you post are better or worse than those from last round!

Capt Kirby, it's all a risk, after everyone has notified me on how many they would like to, or if they wouldn't like to exchange.

Pokemon that will appear are neither better nor worse, they are Pokemon all geared towards some use.

It's a risk. Kind of like in 5 Card Draw (why isn't this called Smogon 5 Card Draw ?_? - i guess because your opponent can see what pokemon you possibly have?). You give away 0-2 pokemon but the risk is that you don't know what pokemon you're going to be able to choose in the next round. So you may give up 2 pokemon then be forced to choose from a list of Luvdisc, Noctowl, Farfetch'd and Beautifly :/

I just preffered Smogon Hold 'Em as a title, and it has some similarities :P

Anyways I wouldn't do such a thing and give you 5 NU's :P

I am changing 2 although i'd honetly like to change all 3 simply because i liked none of the pokemon from last round but i'm sceptical the new list will be much better (please try to make me wrong) =/.

Then fuck that, I am not switching anything, and I do not care if I lose. I would rather have a fucking retarded non Roaring Articuno than something dumb. In Hold 'Em the risk is how you bet, so if you want to make this analogous to pokemon, it would be how you play them, because you know every fucking card you have!
