EDIT: Japanese name ideas what.

Icicle: tsurara, hyouchuu (soo-RAH-ra, he-yo-OO-choo-oo)
Ant: ari (AH-ree)
Larva: youchuu, shichuu (yo-OO-choo-oo, SHI-choo-oo)
Ice: aisu, koori, hi (EYE-soo, ko-O-ree, hee)

Aisukunjia (from aisu, Japanese for ice, and Namkungia, the genus of the largest species of ice bug)
Tsurari (from tsurara, Japanese for icicle, and ari, Japanese for ant)

Also for the pre evo:

Reiketsari (from reiketsuban, Japanese for cold-bloodedness, and ari)
Sashaisu (from sashou, Japanese for little, and aisu)

I don't think that we could win a full blown lawsuit, but the threat and the publicity of a small comunity like Smogon suing Nintendo would be enough of a threat to get them to either not use our Pokemon or they would get our permission but it would be only on the condition they didn't butcher (sp) it.

And of course everything we say now is proof that we thought of the idea lol...
 
Lol, save the discussion threads obviously. They are also useful for convincing Nintendo by showing them the work we put into the thing.

And by the way, Draco Meteor is a pretty bad move, it rapes everything not Steel or Blissey.

Um, just a side note about sending the forums as proof: There might be a couple of things to delete, such as "Fuck Nintendo" i saw either 8th or 9th poll. And the whole ripping Nintendo. Also we would obviously take out the curses to make it more presentable.

Lol. It would really suck if some guy from Nintendo decided to browse and/or join all the Pokemon forums. They would see this and automatically reject it.

99.9% say they won't use it because of this here but that's just me.

You know when I said that I wasn't referring to the actual post but the example/suititon you gave =/

Ninty might not accept it not because it's bad, overpowering and shit like but maybe they would'nt accept because of the possible lawsuit that woul come if they use it for their game.

Being logical I presumed that Cooper would put something like this on the letter to Ninty

"We, the collective creaters of this Pokemon, hereby give Nintendo all rights to modify, and use this Pokemon in any upcoming Video Games, Television series, book,other form of Media, or in any way Nintendo sees fit. On the condition that the original creators (us) are informed of any changes proposed and retain the right to refuse such changes as we see fit."

Of course Nintendo aren't going to use this if there is the posobility that they could be sued on the slightest whim, or if a bunch of teens decided they didn't like Nintendo giving Focus Punch or something.
 
They would probably accept that. They know that the creators have the full right to their creation. They wouldn't like us changing their Garchomp into a Pigeon now whould they?
 
Just got through reading the Draco Meteor thread. Someone mentioned that it should have been Grass type so it could be used on Sceptile. xD

Remember all the Draco Malfoy jokes? Those were funny.

So Cooper, are we going to have to make a poll on the Dex entries? Also I think you should add the prnunciations to the first post. Most people don't seem to know how to pronounce them.

Edit: Tsurari andAisukunjia apeal to me.
