As for registration, this thread is only for Smogon's registration. Look on the forums of the site you want to join for their registration. They will all be up within a day.

Can you maybe include links? I don't know about the other forums represented, but on gamefaqs, it might be a little difficult to find; D/P/Pt/HG/SS all have 2-3 boards each (battling, trading, main), and threads tend to move off the front page quickly on the main boards.

Sorry for the bit of drama that erupted. Having our own team would obviously be really cool (and we'd have no problem filling it up with strong players), but I understand the list of competing sites has been fixed and I'm content to join forces with some forums we've collaborated with in the past. I might join myself, but I'll talk with Stone and Kenn about our potential group before I officially toss my hat into the ring. Looks like an epic tournament in the making regardless of how these rosters turn out--definitely looking forward to seeing it take off!

A quick side question: from what I've seen of our team's tentative lineup, a number of users won't even qualify as Marriland members. Considering the now cosmopolitan nature of this team, would the tournament directors be opposed to adding some slashes/representation to the name in order to better reflect the group as a whole? (Maybe something similar to what rey posted?)
 
I noticed that. You will have to discuss that with El Blecko, Kennisiou, and Stone Cold to try to adjust the problem if you feel more people from a certain area of those sites should be on the team. This was the best solution for this tournament since it's a first time thing and we would like it to be as simple as possible. If this is a widespread success, we can open this up to many more sites in the future. But let's not get ahead of ourselves and just focus on this being the best it can be.

I also like how a lot of strong Smogon players are competing for other sites; this should make for some good matches.

I'm actually El Blecko lol--I changed my Smogon username a few months back. I think the combined lineup's fine--I was mostly just bringing it up to support the name edit proposal. Stone, Kennisiou and I have spoken about the name, and we'd like to highlight the three sites the team consists of if you guys will allow it. We all think anything from Team Marriland/CAL/TU (or TU/CAL, doesn't matter) to Team MarrCALTU to Team Trinity or whatever would be more accurate than blanketing everyone under "Marriland" at this point, so if you guys don't mind altering the OP a bit, a team name edit would be much appreciated!

EDIT: Just re-checked the OP and I'm good with that!

I'll sign up, despite no grand laddering or tournament accomplishments. I'm still active in the RMT forum though, or at least was until 5th gen RMTs took over, which I'm not good at rating quite yet.

I was a pretty active 4th gen player, as you can see by my signature. I do have screenshots of some of the ladder peaks (several are current) and 4th gen OU is still my favourite tier. I'm still learning the ropes of 5th gen though, and basically fucking around. I've won several script tours on PO, but just entered my first tournament on Smogon. Thanks in advance for any consideration!

This is actually a problem. After Google Chrome stopped working I've had to use Opera which has crashed all 3 times I tried PMing Scofield about his PR topic before I gave up. Worst part is pasting into Opera has a 100% crash rate so I can't use it as a failsafe. I'll try to PM or VM Phil tomorrow but I'm not very hopeful.
